CHAPTER 2: Welcome to the Jungle

3RD POV

On a forestry Island full of monsters and the unknown, a flash of light appeared and disappeared leaving behind a group of humans stranded on the lowest level of the island. The island looked like a tower with an all-round steps that grew smaller as u reached the tip. Apart from its forestry features nothing about it sounded unique. But what they didn't know was that, the island was known as, The Island of Monsters. And they are about to receive the shock of their lives.

Satoshi's POV

" What's going on?". A guy with brown, spiky hair and wearing a black and blank tank-top with jeans and some cool Jordan shoes asked. Others were also looking around and wondering where we were. We were at the bottom of an unknown island, that we do know. But our surroundings looked weirder. It looks like we are at a temple. We saw an altar with a statue of Buddha on it and candles and incense lit around it. There were red pillars around us, and a symbol of two dragons battling each other. One looked like a raging lion dragon as its teeth are aimed at a more calm looking dragon. Though it looks like a spirit instead. I thought. Davian walked closer to me from the left and Kuro also appeared from the right.

"This is a telepad and a large one at that. This must need some high level of energy to run it". Davian said seriously, looking at the dragons skeptically.

"I heard of it. It's a new technology that was made using cosmic energy right". I said proudly.

"It seems you are not acient after all" he said jokingly then his expression changed to that of worry. I knew and understood his next question. As I was thinking the same thing. Kuro had stopped sucking on Lollipop and listened carefully.

" Where..."Davian started. I shook my head, cutting him off also showing my confusion. Kuro just stared and shrugged, enjoying his red lollipop again. I was always jealous of how Koru kept his cool even with times like this.

******Flashback*****.

"Welcome to Araski Academy". Yuna said smiling brightly. As if being controlled by an invisible force we then start to clap without knowing why. Kuro and a few others didn't clap. She then narrowed her eyes looking around the stadium.

"Ehhh, it seems there are a few strong ones". She said as she smiled changing her cuteness-filled face to that of a monster, leaking a bit of her aura.

"Since you are all back to your senses, I think it's about time the enrollment test began". She paused looking intently at everyone.

"If you don't have balls to attend this school please leave" she said with a calmness but sharpness in her eyes. It felt like she was telling us if we left she would cut us down, as her hand was on the hilt of her sword. No one dared as they didn't want to end up like red-haired unconscious down there or even worse I gulped feeling the intensity.

"That's more like it". She smiled synically.

"Okay then show me what u have got". She said removing the short, normal looking swordfrom it's scabbard and stabbed it into the ground. Golden symbols begin to appear on the sword. The a large symbol appeared below the whole auditorium. It was a large  symbol like a word in a different Language mesmerizing me and everyone in the auditorium.

"Mesmerized by a measly rune like this. PTFFFS! Amateurs." I heard a voice say. But then again it was my first time seeing it. The symbol continued to spin and grew brighter until there was absolutely nothing but light.

****Now*****

"Argghhhh!!!" A shout is heard as people begin to scatter from a point. We then look for the reason for the disturbance and we find out that the reason is the red-haired Yuna beat had woken up. It seems like they healed him up and sent him here unconscious.

(Such ruthless people.) I thought .

"Alright!!" A voice echoed cheerfully. It sounded like Yuna's voice. We looked around searching for the source, but, we saw no source of sound like speakers et cetera. But we didn't drop our gaurd.

"Don't worry. I am using a technique that allows you send messages through energy waves to the brain. Sort of like telepathy. ". She paused waiting for us to take in the information." So, you guys may be wondering where you are. But some of you may have figured it out already. It's the infamous MOM, Also known as Mount Hanju or you may know it as The Mountain of Monsters." As she relayed that information I shuddered as chills ran down my spine.

"The entrance test is simple just fight ur way towards the monsters and make it to the top of the mountain where there is a Temple. A telepad is located in the temple. Once you teleport using the temple, you pass the test.".

"Hey! If this is the Mountain of Monsters, does that mean the school is accountable for any mishaps?" The red-haired guy asked. "It seems you do have some brains behind the muscle" Yuna said, causing veins to appear on his forehead.

"There is a small telepad located on ur right hand, if u get critically damaged, u get sent back to the school and u will be disqualified. Hunters aren't allowed to fight until u leave the lower temple. Also, PvP IS ALLOWED SO, HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!.". We no longer heard Yuna's voice.

"I am forming a guild right here and now. Join me and if u don't. Don't cross my path or I will crush you. " A blonde haired guy said. He looked beautiful but he had this arrogant and smug look on his face. He wore a white official shirt and white trouser and a white shoe that only noble can get. He also wore a white coat on his shoulders. He smiled tossing his hair. But when he smiled his aura dispersed. His aura felt like a psychopath who will kill you for the fun of it.

"I know him. He's the Genius Hunter son of Park Jon soon, the minister of defence." A stranger said.

"Yh. I remember now we went to the same school he's quite famous" another one said. As the conversation grew loser more people started converging on him. As I was going Kuro placed his hands on my shoulders and shook his head.

( Y) I thought (Buht Kuro's sense are always right).

"Huhhh" I sighed. " Let's go". I said as we faded into the forest. Other small groups didn't follow the genius hunter and astarted to move on their own. But my senses told me they aren't normal. We then faded into the forest and start running at full Speed.

****Timeskip*****

"It's night time" I said. This is the best place to rest pointing at the mountainous cave in front of us. Right now we are at a sight Advantage that will allow us to see our surroundings. The cave was also covered by leaves and trees around, which made it a good hiding spot. We then set out fire and ravage through the food packs we found lying around. It seems they left the food package lying around. For us to find. But when we looked inside we saw one loaf of bread and a letter water pouch.

" Are they training us to be monsters or what" Davian asked as he looked at the food dejected. I sighed.

(I miss mum's cooking). I thought.

I then bit the Bread but it was too hard, so, I sucked it until the bread became soft to chew. Kuro just bit straight through like it was nothing but I understand. After all none of us have gone through a sliver of what he went through. Davian just throws his bread out of the cave and grunts in frustration. Kuro turned his head to the entrance of the cave and stared intently at it. I then follow his trail. Sensing people it was only small I felt but, it felt like an army. Davian looked between us in ignorance.

"What's going on?". He asked turning his face to where we were looking. We then hear a couple of footsteps. At each step the pressure weighed us down.

"Well, well, bro What do you say?. Look what we found here".
