"Wait.. Did you guys accept it? You know Me and Riya are betrothed and I really love her Grammy!" Dhruv exclaimed.

"Yeah..I know, but if you marry Jia Pradhaan they are willing to sell us ninety percent of their shares.. My son, you have worked so hard in this company, you should think about the gains you will earn through this marriage deal!"

"Grammy! Did you talk to big buddy (Dhruv calls his dad big buddy)? What did he say?" Dhruv asked

"Rehaan doesnt have brains when it comes you three kids but being the seniormost in this family I have a right to look after everything! Your mother also was from the most elite family in banaras. Even I was having a superior background to become a Jaiprakash. You are the eldest son of this house hold, you should bring a wife of the utmost wealth."

"Grammy please! I know the history of legacies have always been royal but its not like Riya is not a heir. Maybe the Pradhaan's have more money than the Shekhar's but Riya and I are a match made in heaven. Infact we would have been married long ago if we werent young.".

" But, dear, think! This marriage proposal could have come after you and Riya get married too.. Right? Why did it came now? You should..."

"Grammy enough! If me being single is bothering you this much then fine! I'll marry Riya in three days. I'll announce our marriage today and we will have the after party tonight." Dhruv said and stormed out of the house

"Jia Pradhaan! Where the f*ck are you?! Come down here you... Bloody Lizard!!" Dhruv stormed inside the Pradhaan's villa and shouted out for Jia.

Jia climbed down the stairs quickly and was overjoyed to see him. "Dhruv?! How come you are...😳"

Dhruv grabbed her collar, he didnt care if she was girl Or whatever.. "Stop playing your stupid tricks! I am already in a happy relationship with Riya! And I love her more than anything in this world." Dhruv pushed her back leaving her collar.

"Just so you know, me and Riya are getting married in three days and I am going to announce it to the press tonight!" Dhruv turned to leave but then he again turned back to stop and inform her, "Oh, and just by the way, I am throwing an after party in Envy, be thrilled to come and drop by! I'll treat you with the best champaign!" Dhruv completed his words and stormed off.

Jia fell on ground. "I had already given up of my dreams of being with you when my dad could not pursue your father. But do you have to come and rub salt on my wounds like that? I really fell in love with you Dhruv..And its not like I can stop feeling this.. You yourself love someone, dont you already know how it feels?"

Jia started crying curling up.
