My Love

Kazuya looked around and noticed that he is sitting under the tree near the football field. He didn't know why he got there since the last time the last thing he remember, he was in his room sleeping- Realization dawned on Kazuya's face.

Right, this must be a dream.

With that in mind, Kazuya decided to know why is he dreaming of their school but when he tried to stand up he noticed that someone is lying on his lap. Looking down, he almost jerked away when he noticed his friend Miyuki Takatsugu sleeping peacefully with his head laying comfortably on Kazuya's skinny legs, good thing he managed to stop himself from jerking away but he did end up blushing. After a few minutes when he finally had his blush and emotions in check, Kazuya finally looked at Miyuki properly.

He traced his face with his eyes and longed to touch it. There is one thing that Kazuya is keeping to himself and not let even a single soul know.

He is in love with his friend Miyuki Takatsugu.

Yes, you heard him right. He is in love with the handsome, charming and hot MVP football player of their school. No one knows what he is feeling and he is not planning to let anyone know. He doesn’t want to be rejected and most of all ruin the friendship that they had.

You see, Miyuki is popular and Kazuya is not, they just became friends because they shared a class and Kazuya offered to help tutor Miyuki with his homework. They are the sort of friends that were frowned upon by those egoistic people that wants Miyuki to hang out with someone better than Kazuya. And to be honest, Kazuya can't blame them, in fact he thinks they are right but he won't say a thing because if Miyuki wants to be friends with Kazuya then he will let him.

Kazuya looked at Miyuki and finally decided to just a sneak a feel on the face of the person he loves. This is the reason why he loves Miyuki, because he felt special and relied on. Even though Miyuki is friendly with everyone he is not the kind of person that trust others. He doesn’t make a habit of showing them his vulnerable side. To be honest, this is not the first time that Miyuki did something like sleeping on Kazuya, it happens often especially if they have free period or even every lunch if Miyuki is available. Kazuya love that feeling where Miyuki trust him to even sleep on his lap.

Caressing Miyuki's face softly, Kazuya smiled longingly. "Will there ever be a moment where I can finally tell you I love you?" He asked as he directed his look on Miyuki's pink soft lips. "Will I ever be lucky enough to experience what your past girlfriend experienced?" He asked again.

But then, a single tear managed to escape Kazuya's eyes and drip right down Miyuki's cheek softly. "Will you hate me once you know this desire that I have for you?" He sobbed. "Please don't..." He begged to the sleeping person on his lap. "Please... don't hate me... I would rather stay as your friend forever and watch you smile to some girl than having you hate me for loving you..." He cried softly. He had his eyes closed as he muffled his cries with his hands as he tried to stop his tears from falling lest he wake up the sleeping man on his lap.

He was startled though when he felt a warm hand cupping his cheeks and wiping off the tears on his eyes. He looked down just to see kind brown eyes looking at him with a slight smile.

"What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Miyuki asked as he continues to wipe away Kazuya's tears.

Kazuya shook his head and tried to smile as his tears kept on flowing down his cheeks.

Miyuki sat up and turned to his still crying friend. "Don't cry... Please don't cry." He said in a soft voice, and then all of a sudden, Miyuki kissed on his forehead and smiled at him. So soft it made Kazuya cry even more. "I love you..."

And nothing hurts more than those words because Kazuya knew it’s just a dream.

Ring ring ring...

Kazuya opened his eyes as if he just had a nightmare, sitting up, Kazuya noticed that there were tears falling down his cheeks then he thought, maybe it is a nightmare. A nightmare and a sign that tells Kazuya to, finally give up his feelings and just forget it.

Shaking those thoughts out of his head, Kazuya wiped those tears away from his eyes and turned to his clock to check the time and realize it's too early. Not being able to get back to sleep, he decided to just fiddle with is phone. He was about to open his Instagram and browse some cat videos to keep him company when he noticed he received a message from an unknown number. Frowning, Kazuya opened the message and then all of a sudden, a smile bloomed on his face.

Kazuya sort of dreaded going to school that day. He just dreamed of his crush last night and his emotions were still sensitive and he might cry all of a sudden if he ever see Miyuki all without any preparations. But he steeled himself, he needs to go to school and even his unrequited love won't stop him from graduating.

He was just about to enter their classroom when he felt someone glomped him. He turned around and averted his away as soon as he saw who it was. It was Miyuki. The last person he wants to see at the moment. He tried to shake Miyuki off of him but the guy have a much bigger built than him and let's not forget the defined abs that Kazuya knows Miyuki has, after all he's already seen those abs a lot of times that its not healthy for his fragile heart.

"Hey Miyuki, sorry but could you get off of me? You're kind of heavy." Kazuya would like to congratulate himself when he finished his sentence without tremble in his voice.

Miyuki pouted as he got off of Kazuya "Are you not even going to greet me a Good Morning?"

Kazuya sighed. Without even looking he knew that Miyuki is pouting at him. "Good Morning Miyuki. Why are you so happy this early?" He groaned as he take his seat.

Miyuki smiled immediately. "Well, the guys and I wanted to go eat out later. I wanted to ask you to join us." He said as he pulled a chair and turned it around to seat in front of Kazuya's desk.

Kazuya stopped from taking out his things for their class when he heard that. "Why?" He asked, with a slight frown on his face.

Miyuki blinked in confusion and tilted his head to the side and Kazuya felt his heart beat faster at the cuteness on Miyuki's face. "What do you mean why? We want to celebrate since we just finished the midterms."

Kazuya sighed. "No, I mean why are you inviting me? It's just mostly your friends from the football club. I don't know any of them and I'm sure I won't fit in there. You can go alone."

Miyuki frowned upon hearing that. "But I don't want to be alone. They are going to going to invite their girlfriends and I won't have anyone to invite." He whined.

Kazuya is sure that whatever came out of his mouth was something he did not think about. "Well, you can invite one of the girls out there. They basically throw themselves at you. You're Miyuki Takatsugu, you have a lot of girls admiring you and would kill to have dinner with you. You can take your pick." He said. He only realized what he just said when he noticed that Miyuki is now silently staring at him. 'Shit, he did not just say that.' He tried to clear his throat and adds. "Besides, I'm not free today. I have to meet with someone."

Miyuki just remained silent and Kazuya felt like burying himself alive.

In all honesty, Kazuya did not lie when he said he have someone he would be meeting with. He is going to have dinner with his friend Eusuke. Eusuke is the brother of his friend way back in their old home. Kazuya's family used to leave in a different neighbourhood and there he met Eusuke's brother. Eusuke's brother is on the same age of Kazuya but Eusuke and Kazuya became close due to their love for music.

"Kazu-san!"

Kazuya looked up when he heard someone call out to him. Turning to that person, Kazuya smiled and was startled though when he was pulled in a hug by his friend.

"Long time no see, Kazu-san." Eusuke's greeted.

Kazuya chuckled at how energetic the younger is. "Long time no see Eusuke. I can't believe it, you're all grown up now!" He said as he ruffled Eusuke's hair.

"Well, it’s been a solid 5 years since you and your family left." Eusuke said. "So? What should we do today? I'm staying over to your house by the way!" He said with a grin

That earned another chuckle from Kazuya. "I know. Mom already prepared the guest room. Let's go have some dinner first? Everyone in the house was out to visit some relatives so we'll be the one left at home tonight."

"Alright. I want to eat some seafood tonight though-"

"Is he the one you would be meeting with today, Kazuya?"

The two stopped talking when another voice interrupted them. Kazuya turned around to see Miyuki looking at him with dark eyes.
