After they reached home they went in their respective rooms.
At dinner.... Sara , Anand and Maya were seated at dinning table.
Maya was almost sitting on Anand's lap and teasingly looked at Sara from time to time to show off her possession.
Sara on the other hand had her head down in her plate and mobile seemingly texting and talked with Anna.
Anand was swallowing the food which Maya stuffed in his mouth and glanced at Sara time to time.
Maya saw that and gritted her teeth.
"honey ... why don't you look at me ... see i dressed up for you... how do i look" Maya said coquettishly.
"yeah ...you look good ...." Anand said.
"honey .... how is this halva made of carrots i specially asked maids to make it for you"
"yeah its good .....i like it ..."Anand replied with a smile.
" honey why don't i make it for you next time.....will you eat it then"
"yes... why not .... i will surely eat it "
"oh !yes honey i heard Sara made something for you yesterday....... how was it .... did you liked it " Maya asked
Anand coughed and smiled ,"yes it was nice "
" really ...Sara is that good in cooking ........... i never knew about it ........ then honey why dont we ask Sara to cook for us every day ...... then i will also get to eat her dishes and we can remove Divya from work ...and we will save money" Maya smiled while looking at Sara provocatively to see Sara's reaction and seeing their is no reaction from Sara . Maya became red in anger and talked again," what do you think Sara isn't my idea good .... "
Sara looked up at Maya and then at Anand and said ,"Anand if you can't afford a servant for cooking I don't mind paying for her ....... afterall I have your card with me ..... its not a big deal" Sara said with a gentle smile.
" and miss Maya .... i don't think your idea is that great " Sara said while looking at Maya.
" honey .... she took wrong meaning of my words ..... " Maya acted spoiled towards Anand.
Anand on the other hand who was looking at Sara woke up from the thoughts and said," its not that i cant afford to pay the maid .... you dont have to pay for it ..... and Maya i am sure Sara didnt take wrong meaning ....... and didn't you tell me that you like Divya's cooking then why should we remove her ...."
after hearing him Maya became purple in anger like she is gonna explode but kept it in and said with a friendly smile," fine .... if you like so i like it as well "
"Sara i called my mom saying that we will visit Tomorrow and have lunch at her place....... so be ready by 8.00 " Anand said
"ok " was Sara's reply.
"did you prepared any gifts for them?" Anand asked
"yes .... i did prepare some ... they are in my room .... um...... can you take a look at those ...... i don't know if your parent's will like it or not "Sara said.
"ok .... i will come and look after dinner" Anand replied.
hearing this Maya got even more angry and threw the spoon and went upstairs crying 'you dont love me anymore....'
and Anand ran after her .
After finishing her dinner Sara went up and heard noises of quarrelling and saw Anand get out of the room , Anand saw Sara and gave a slight smile .
he looked a little miserable Sara asked ,"Are you coming to look at the gifts?"
Anand smiled and said ,"sure" and followed Sara to her room.
He looked at her room which had furniture except the bed was changed... but gave off the feeling home... not too girlish.....just cozy.
everything was decorated nicely and gave a positive aura.
Anand never thought the room was this better.
"did you change anything"Anand asked
"no i just shifter the furniture according to vastu" Sara said.
"yeah... i also wanted to ask about it .... i wanna renovate the room ... so it will be fine right " Sara
said.
"yes... its fine ... when will you start the work .."
"from next weekend i suppose "
"ok .... tell me if you need any help ...."
"no ... its fine .....i will ask mr. more for help"
"ok"
Anand sat on couch while he saw Sara bringing bags
" do you need any help?" Anand asked.
"no ... i am fine "
and she picked up few bags and placed in on a cocktail table and again went to get the shopping bags .
"check the bags and see if their is anything which your parents don't like" saying this she again rushed to get a box.
She walked a few steps and was about to drop the box coz of its heavy weight.
Anand who 1st saw her fidgeting while picking up the box was already in front of her and held the box firmly and said," you shouldn't do everything on your own ....." saying this he snatched the box from Sara's arm and placed it on the table.
"thank you "Sara said.
Anand saw the gifts there were 1 saree , 1 paithani ,
a western wear for his mom . For his dad their was a shervani matched with paithani and a suit which matched with his mom's dress and a tie. Among the bags Sara took 2 bags and handed them to Anand saying," these are for you"
Anand stood stunned for a moment and asked,"for me ... thank you"
"i don't know if you like it or not ... so "
"its fine ... i like it whatever it is ............ do you mind if i open it "Anand asked
"go ahead"
