Anand entered the door to see a room white room which had 9 to 10 easels holding canvas which was covered with cloth lined up and the wall at the end was also covered with white cloth.
Anand went it and removed the cloth from first canvas and was stunned to see young Sara following a butterfly covered in mud.
He observed it for quiet a while with gentlesness.
He walk to next canvas to see Sara celebrating her 14th bday with her parents.
They painting consisted of Sara along with her 3 friends and she seemed happy ...Sara went ahead and introduced them as Mike,Ankit and Vedant.
Next painting had her Graduation image.
next painting was of her sister(cousin) and herself crying while Sara was sending her cousin off after her cousin's marriage.
next painting consisted on Sara relaxing in a boat and painting the scenery.
in next painting Sara was being hugged from back while she was cooking.The face was blurred as if it was imagination.
next painting had backs of two adults while they were holding a child in the middle and walking on a seashore.
last canvas also consisted of backs of two old people hugging each other while watching sunset.
Anand was stunned to see Sara's work ....and he was not able to hold his curiosity back so he asked," what are these..... how did you paint all these.... they are really good "
" its all in past .... i painted these 4 years ago .... you dont have to take them seriously " Sara said while looking at her work somewhat gloomy.
Anand looked at her expression and hugged her .... Sara was stunned by his behavior and she just freezed....
"your parents are watching us by slightly opening the door ..... lets just be like this for a while ........... humuhm .... you can cry if you want " Anand said and hugged her tightly.
Sara just stood their dumbfolded and finally whispered," i think its enough .... leave me now"
After hearing her words full of disgust Anand let her go and walked towards the wall which was covered in cloth.
"What's in here? ...Another painting....can i see it ?..... you kept it so mysterious.." Anand asked
"noo... dont ....its not good and its still incomplete ...." this time Sara's protest was really big.
"hey i am not going go display it in some art gallery or something .... and believe me i wont criticize or judge you ...... ... i will just take a look" Anand insisted.
He grabbed a nearby table and stood up on it to remove the cloth which was tied to a nail at top and got down to see a marvelous painting of two hands consisting rings holding each other ....but it seemed incomplete as Sara said coz the pencil work were visible .
"you made it..... what was you thought process when you painted it .... "
"i wanted to show eternal love ..... the love where the two people held their hands even in the vastness of sky and are afraid to be separated from each other" Sara said Somewhat emotional, sad and gloomy... "but unfortunately i cant finish it .... and wont be able to see such kind of eternal love" Sara continued.
Anand after hearing her ..... was in daze...and not uttered a single word...seemingly guilty.
" so yeah ...that's it ... you should help me put on the clothes on canvas " Sara said again.
hearing her words Anand woke up from his trance and started helping Sara put on the clothes back on canvas and left the room silently.
After coming out of the room they chatted with mr. and mrs. Bhatkar for a while touched their feet to gain blessing and left to go home.
