Visit to in laws

Sara who finished cleaning dishes sat on sofa to watch TV.

Anand who was reading newspapper asked ," Who was he?"

"Are you talking to me?"Sara asked

"who else is here?"

"He is my best friend......"

" and nothing else ?" Anand asked

"nothing"

" so you dont love him?" Anand asked

"no..." Sara answered firmly

" He is not a good person " Anand said again

"oh! Is that so ....says who?"

"I am warning you , rest ......"

"the person who i thought was a good person proved that he is not at our 1st meeting itself.....is the person claiming that other is not good " Sara cut him off

"i have known him for past 6 years and dont think he is bad "

After hearing Sara say this Anand continued reading newspaper somewhat in thoughts.

"Go and get ready we will leave in 20 minutes " Anand said again.

After 20 minutes Sara got down with Anna ,Divya and Amit(another worker in Anand's house) following behind her who were carrying stuff in their hands.

"put those in trunk" Sara said.

Anand who was sitting on couch asked,"what are these?"

" we are visiting for 1st time after marriage.... so son in law should bring gifts... i bought it on your behalf " Sara said.

After the bags were put in trunk the ride began.

In 30 minutes they reached Bhatkar's house .

Mrs.Bhatkar opened the door and hugged Sara behind her Mr. Bhatkar came and hugged Anand.

They got in and started to chat in living room.

Mr.Bhatkar chatted with Anand related to his business and furture plans. While Mrs. Bhatkar and Sara talked about Sara's life after marriage.

Soon it was time for lunch Sara went to help her mom set the table Anand as a good son in law helped them doing so.

While lunch Sara took the container filled with Sheera which Anna helped her pack and gave it to her mom, "here mom.... tell me how is it " Sara said while pushing the container towards her mom.

"ohh .... did you ask someone to prepare it for me ...... its so sweet of you " Mrs. Bhatkar smiled and said.

"no mom.... she prepared it herself .... for that she woke up early.... I liked it a lot " Anand said.

hearing him both Mr and Mrs Bhatkar were shocked ...they looked at each other and at the container and than towards Sara who had her head down.

"is it true Sara .... did you cooked ,.. " Sara's mom asked while tears were threatening to fall from her eyes.

"yes mom....."Sara said and was engulfed in a hug gjven by Mr.and Mrs.Bhatkar.

They ate sheera like their was nothing else good in world and praised their daughter and son in law at the same time.

Later Sara and Mrs.Bhatkar went in garden to enjoy the wind and Anand followed Mr. Bhatkar to study.

"you haven't told him yet?.." Sara's mom asked

"no...not yet .... i will tell him ...when i am ready " Sara replied .

"don't push yourself bumpkin...we are here for you .... you dont have to do this"

"its fine mom .... i know my limits"

"just be safe "

"yes mom" Sara smiled while looking at her mom.

They both went in living room and at the same time Anand and mr.Bhatkar came out of the study.

Anand smiled and Sara smiled at the same time.

Mrs.Bhatkar said,"bumpkin why dont you show your painting room to your husband "

" yes .... you told us not to enter ... only your future partner could enter .... so i think you show show him" mr.Bhatkar said

"you have a painting room .... lets go.... i wanna see it" Anand said excitedly.

"no ..... its not that great ... its better if you dont see it" Sara said

"how do you know that he wont find it great .... come on dont be shy ..... goo " Sara's mom said and pushed them both towards staircase.

Sara unwillingly lead Anand to her painting room and stood before a door which was painted in galaxy.

Sara looked behind to see her mom and dad peeping and insisting to go ahead.

" i dont think its anything good ... so dont tease me later " Sara said to Anand.

"dont worry i wont make fun of you"Anand replied with a smile and opened the door.
