Is it Love?

How can he forget that day when he first saw her... It was 4 years ago,It was raining a lot.. He didn't want to burden Aunt Amina but his mother insisted him that he must stay at her home if he wanted to study more... At first his parents were against him for further education, they wanted him to join his family business but he insisted that he wanted to study more..

At last his mother agreed on one condition that he must stay at her Best Friend's place.. He did not wanted to burden anyone but after his mother said that he must agree to her condition or he cannot be able to go.. So at last he agreed..

It was a rainy day, when he rang the doorbell of Aunt Amina's house.. That was when he first saw her.. He was mesmerized by her beauty that he could not take his eyes off of her.. She waved her hand in front of him so he snapped out of his dreams.. He cleared his throat and inquired if he reached to correct address..

To which she replied, "Oh you must be Aunt Ana's son, come in my mom is waiting for you from morning.."

Aunt Amina welcomed him with warm smile and asked him to feel at home.. But his eyes were searching only for her but God knows where she disappeared.. He was not sure who was she and it was inappropriate to ask about her..

At dinner, he met Arham, he remembered him because they used to do everything together in their childhood but then they lost contact and now they were meeting after 5 years.. Although they kept in touch through phone but they couldn't meet each other.. Now when they met they were more than happy and it turned out that Arham also applied for Business Administration at same university and now they were class fellows..

She did not came for dinner so he wondered if she was only visitor.. But she mentioned Aunt Amina as mother so that means she must be Sarah or Minha..

In coming days, he came to know that she was Minha.... that little girl he used to dote back then.. but her personality has totally changed.. Back then she was an extrovert child but now she was really introvert and shy.. He wondered what happened in between these 5 years..

Whenever he tried to talk to her she behaved strangely and tried to avoid him as much as possible.. He clearly remembered that 5 years ago she used to cling to him and ask him to play with her.. He was not sure of her attitude..

He tried to ask Arham about it but whenever he brought this topic up Arham deliberately changed the topic..

At night, when he closed his eyes her innocent eyes came in front of her.. He really wanted to learn the secret behind the sadness in her eyes but he couldn't..

He promised to himself that after he go back he will ask his mom to ask for her hand in marriage.. He promised that he will never let her cry again in his lifetime.. But he was unsure of her feelings.. So he decided to try his luck..

He saw her sitting alone in living room, he approached her and asked her, "What are you doing here alone?"

She jumped out of her seat and tried to go to her room but he stopped her and asked her, "Why are you afraid? I am not going to eat you.."

But she did not reply to him and watched him with quizzical look as if she was saying say what you want and let me go..

So he said, "Do you remember we were friends 5 years ago?"

She did not say anything as if she was saying So What? What do you want from me now?

He understood her look so he said.. "Friends?" and approached his hand out..

When he asked her to be friends she was so shocked that he wondered if she saw a ghost or did he became a ghost..

When he did not get any response from her he repeated his question..

Inside he thought *I am really shameless she is rejecting me by not replying but guess I want to be rejected again and again*

When he ca,e out of his thoughts he observed that he was standing alone like a fool with his hand out and she was long gone..

He scratched his head with self pity and said, "Maybe next time."

But after that incident he never had a chance to talk to her alone.. She avoided him as if he were a ghost..

He felt hurt by her behavior and realized that the liking that he took of her was long ago converted onto Love..

He really wanted to make her his but he did not want to force her so he decided to talk to her about this but he could not find a chance so he decided to tell Sarah about this and ask her to help him..
