What is Your Answer?

Minha sighed but then she remembered her dream and wondered, "Will my dream com true? Mom says most of my dreams come true... I hope at least this dream is true.. But Who was he? certainly he was not Jafar because Jafar is bald and he looked handsome and young even from behind (man in the dream)."

Then she remembered that familiar face and thought could it be...??????

She shook her head and went downstairs. When she reached dining table everyone was looking sad and gloomy. They all looked at her and then her mother started crying silently.

Minha sat down a chair silently and started eating breakfast. Her eyes were still swollen but she did not show sorrow in front of her family.

No one was eating anything but they all were pretending to eat. After sometime Minha's mother mustered up her courage and finally asked her, "Mini what is your answer?"

Minha finally spoke, "Mom, I think you should tell Jafar that I'm ready but I'll only marry him after 2 weeks."

Everyone was shocked at her reply no one thought she would be accept it too soon.

Minha thoght *If really my dream is true then I have to stall Jafar for at least 2 weeks because the date I saw in my dream was 25th of this month which is that is next Sunday. I hope everything goes according to my dream otherwise I'd have to act on my plan B(taking my own life)*

Minha snapped out of her thoghts because her mother started crying loudly. Then she hugged her mother and said, "Mom, don't worry I will be alright."

Then she went upstairs and locked herself in her room.

Next day her mom told her that Jafar agreed to marry her after 2 weeks and her wedding is on 26th.

Minha thought *Let's see if 25th is my wedding day or my funeral* but she did not say anything to her mom.

On 24th, an unexpected guest came and Minha felt more than happy to see her. She was her mother's best friend, Aunt Ana..

She was a charming lady and she loved Minha like her own daughter Eilia. Minha was best friends with Eilia but she didn't see her for a long time.

Ana and Minha's mother were college friends but they separated when Ana was married to a really powerful family and their family home was really far away so the only met once a year.

Everyone was surprised at her sudden visit because usually both families meet suring summer vacations and it was not even spring yet. But when she explained the reason behind her visit everyone got another shock. She came to ask Minha's hand for marriage.

When she told that she wants that Minha would be married to her son everyone was in a shock.

After seeing everyone's reaction she thought that perhaps they are hesitating because Minha is too young and she is still studying but the truth was beyond her imagination.

So she said, "It's OK if you don't want to marry her immediately, we will wait until she finishes her education. For now we can hold a small engagement ceremony."

Minha's father asked his mother to explain everything to Ana and then everyone left except Ana and Minha's mother.

Ana asked Minha's mother, "What happened Amina? Didn't we promised that we will marry our children with each other?"

Amina replied, "I remember Ana but something really bad happened and I want you to know about it and then you can again ask for Minha's hand if you want?"

"What do you mean by if you want? of course I want her to be my daughter-in-law!!!" Ana replied angrily.

Amina sighed and said, "Listen to me first Ana" and then she explained everything.

After learning about current situation Ana was too shocked to talk anything so Amina said, "that's why I said you have to listen to me first, I really hope you can save my daughter but it is up to you.."

then she added, "My daughter is innocent Ana, she didn't do anything wrong. Even if you don't want to marry her to your son I beg you to please don't tell anybody about it... She is so innocent!!"

But Ana didn't say anything so the little hope that Amina had disappeared. Deep down Amina hoped that after listening to everything Ana will help her because her husband was really powerful and Jafar couldn't do anything if Minha have the protection of Ana's family. But she had to face disappointment and she went to her room crying while Ana was still sitting in living room in a state of shock.
