Hey! Marry Me?

This was the best! There were so many sweets on the table I didn’t know where to start! I looked over at Lucian but he had already eaten three cupcakes!

“ What the- How have you already eaten so much!”

“ What do you mean? You’ve just been looking at them for half an hour!” Said Lucian stuffing his mouth.

“Actually it only came 5 mins ago! You’re just way too greedy!”

“ Well you better hurry then otherwise I’ll eat it all by myself!” Said Lucian cheekily.

“What! I Won’t let-mfffhhh”

Lucian had shoved a spoonful of sweets in my mouth. Although I was shocked it did taste good. This kid was always filled with surprises. We talked and laughed for awhile. It was fun. He just looked at me for what felt like a long time.

“Um…is something wrong?”

“No it’s just I thought all demons had horns”

“Yes but like to hide them because people get scared by them easily”

“Wow! You can use Such powerful magic already. I’m jealous!”

He really was a weird person, he didn’t think I was revolting even through I was demon. But I’m glad he didn’t. Really glad.

Suddenly he looked at the door. He had turned as white as a ghost and looked nervously down at the table. I looked back and saw a boy who had the same silver hair as Lucian but he had icy blue eyes. His eyes weren’t innocent and gentle like Lucian, they were cruel and unforgiving. They were the kind of eyes I was use to getting, so why was he looking at Lucian like that? I thought nobles always hid there true intentions but he didn’t even try to hide his hostility towards Lucian. I didn’t like him.

“What do you think your doing! Your just wasting money that father gave to you!” He spat at Lucian.

“Oh…um I’m sorry Luther”

“ Just because your a little bit more powerful, you think you can do anything you want” he snarled.

“S-sorry older b-brother”Lucian stuttered.

“Who are you calling your brother you filthy rat!”

What was this guy’s problem! He is to arrogant and cruel! He talked to Lucian like he was worthless and I didn’t like it!

“Hey! Who are you calling a filthy rat! Know your place!”

“KNOW MY PLACE?!” He roared

“ Yes! If Lucian is more powerful that you that must mean you are weaker than a rat!”I said while glaring at him.

“Excuse me! Why you little-”

“I’m sorry we have somewhere to be and we can’t waste time speaking to someone inferior to a rat!”

I grabbed Lucian’s hand and rushed out of there. I lead him to a near by bench and we sat down shocked at what I said. Oh god I’ve done it now! Messing with an important noble? What was I thinking! I’m totally screwed! As I was panicking Lucian suddenly hugged me.

“Thank you!” He said.

“Oh your welcome I guess” I said embarrassed.

“I have a brilliant idea!”he said.

I loved the way he could change the subject so quickly.

“What is it now Lucian?” I sad with a smirk.

“Marry me?” He whispered into my hear.

“W-what?!” I felt my face go red.

“Marry me!” He said excitedly

“But we haven’t even started dating yet!” I say flustered

“What do you mean? Today was a date wasn’t it?!”Lucian said

“B-but were not old enough to get m-married!”

“Fine promise to marry me when I turn 20!” He said happily

“F-fine” I said while blushing.

“Huh? What you say?” He said with one of he sly grins.

“I said I promise I will marry you when you turn 20!” I say loudly!

I pull away from our hug to look at his face. He’s blushing like crazy! So cute! Suddenly I feel a burst of emotions. So I ran all the way back to the orphanage. There was another unfamiliar feeling inside me. Although I didn’t know what is was, I didn’t hate it…
