Chapter 4 – Found North > Side Story

“Oopps! Let me help you” Rhythm took the boxes that the girl was holding and helped her carry it all the way to the Campus Official’s Office “These boxes are quite a deal Miss your President should be asking for someone to help you.” the girl give him a strange look and flashed off from his sight. Rhythm ran after her but he bumped into one the seniors “Kid watch out!” he said while checking on him “I am sorry Bro, I was running after someone” he said while he humbly apologize “Don’t worry, no harm done. You can come with me, you might find what you were looking for \-\-\-“ he tapped Rhythm’s shoulder and take him to look around “By the way, I am Champ, Senior from Faculty of Medicine” he said “ I am Rhythm, Freshman from faculty of Business Marketing”

They looked around and settle down for a rest “By the way, I gotta leave you here and let you look around. I need to attend a meeting in a few” he pointed to the stage where the rest of the students are standing. He was frozen after seeing the girl leading the meeting.

(Meeting noises)

“Good day! I am Champ Simon the Campus Vice President for this SY” everyone gave him a round of applause “and here with me, I bet y’all know her already 😊 I have Eloise North our Campus President for this Sy!” they were all rooting for her.

Rhythm finds it hard to believe and remember what he said earlier “*These boxes are quite a deal Miss your President should be asking for someone to help you*.”

I am in deep shit! He said on top his head.

“Hey! You are still here” Champ walked towards his seat and behind her is Eloise “Ahhmm – Borther can I have a moment with her?” he asked.

“I am sorry!” Rhythm said “What are you apologizing for?” she asked. He was left caught off guard and frozen “Are you apologizing for what you said, for judging someone too fast or for both?” Rhythm was shocked and he was judge looking at her. Since he is not saying anything Eloise left.

Few days after

“Eloise, he is a good option for this event’s performance. I am telling you, his gang is known for being famous back in high school and most of the students from our Uni came from where he graduated. Also. He is in demand according to the online voting” one of the representatives approached her “We can ask help from the faculty of Engineering coz I heard they are close friends”

Eloise was left with no choice but to look for this guy and talk to him personally since she can’t get hold of the representative of the Engineering Faculty who happens to be this guy’s friend. After looking around Eloise found this guys sitting on the bleachers with other guys. One of those guys looks really familiar to her…

“Gideon?” she said when she came closer to Rhythm’s squad “Eloise?” Gidz said with a surprised look on his face. They were trapped by the event and can’t say anything further “You are Gidz! The rep from faculty of engineering right?” Eloise was shocked because she didn’t know that Champ followed her.

“Yes! I am, you are Champ right? The Campus VP…” Gidz finally speak up “Yes! Ahhmm – Eloise is our Campus P. Well Eloise you haven’t met him during the orientation because Gidz was excused for major class revisions” he looked at her. Finally, Eloise came to her senses and talk “Well, I am glad to see you again.” She said while looking very shy.

(Gidz’s update to his letter)

*Hey Dale,

I dreamt of seeing you smile and eyes with love while looking into mine. But, that’s not the direction we are heading right now. I still have the same feeling right now and I am trying my very best not to be obvious.

I am keeping it all in, just like how I keep everything here in my notes*.
