Chapter 3 - A Fresh Start

“Hey Max you said you're here that's why you hear me.”

“Not exactly in here but outside the cave, I was gathering herbs for my quest then I hear your scream.”

“Gathering herbs for you quest wait are you an adventurer?!”

“Why are you surprise?”

“Well you said you're a tamer and I don't see any tamer in adventurer guild.”

“I see so you think I'm useless because I'm a tamer?”

“What?! I didn't think any of that remember you help me earlier so why should I think badly of you.”

“Hey help me gather some herbs.”

“Sure how many herbs are you gathering?”

“100”

“how many do you have right now.”

“10”

“What?! you're hopeless.”

“Just help me gather.”

“Alright I'll help you.”

Max and Elaina gather herbs until sunset.

“And 100.”

“Finally!”

“Elaina let's go back to the guild.”

“Sure.”

At the guild.

“Alright and here's your payment 100 bronze coins and 20 silver coins.”

“Thank you Miss Grisha.”

“Uh hey Max is that girl your girlfriend?”

Grisha point to Elaina sitting at the table

“What! No! no! she's just a friend.”

Grisha look at Max with a smug face

“Friend? huh are you sure young man?”

“S-She's just a friend! and don't call me young man we have the same age.”

“Alright, alright I'll stop teasing you now go out with your girlfriend.”

“I said, she's just a friend!”

Max and Elaina go out of the guild

“Elaina let's go to my house it's not that far.”

“Sure while we're walking let's go buy some food.”

Max and Elaina go to Max house it's not that good and it's not that bad it's just a decent looking house.

“Is this your house? It's not good and it's not that bad either it's look decent.”

“Yeah sure let's go in.”

“Oh the inside is garbage.”

“Hey! stop insulting my house if you don't like it then sleep outside.”

“Not that I don't like it but we need to renovate your house the outside is decent but the inside is gar-”

“I said stop insulting my house!!”

“You sleep at the floor I sleep at the bed.”

“What?! this is my house why should I sleep at the floor?!”

“Well I'm a girl and you're a man tell me why should we sleep together at the same bed?”

“I will not sleep on the floor you sleep on the floor.”

“No!”

The night is fun at Max's house.

“Hey Elaina wake up it's morning already.”

“5 minutes more.”

“Alright I'll go to the guild there's a breakfast on the table eat it when you wake up.”

Max go to the guild alone, while walking Max heard people talking about a new dungeon is open.

“A new dungeon is open haven't you heard of it.”

People all over the town is talking about it and many adventurers are ready to go inside the dungeon to explore.

“A new dungeon huh, maybe Elaina can help go in there.”

“Good morning Miss Grisha!”

“Oh Max good morning.”

“Hey Miss Grisha I'm wondering if you can get me a pass to go inside the new dungeon.”

“Huh, are you sure you want to go in there?”

“Yeah I just want to explore and I'll bring Elaina with me so give 2 pass.”

“Elaina? Oh your girlfriend alright here's 2 pass.”

“Hey! Elaina is not my girlfriend! and thank you for the pass.”

Max go back to his house and ask Elaina if she wants to go inside the new dungeon

“A new dungeon alright I'll come with you.”

At the entrance of the dungeon, there's a large pillars and large door water falling down at the side and many adventurers gathering.

“Hey isn't that Max.”

“The one with the tamer class? what is he doing here?”

“He's gonna get himself killed.”

Adventurers are whispering about Max.

“This adventurers are getting in my nerves!”

“Calm down Elaina no need to get angry just ignore them.”

“Ignore them?! do you think I'll let them talk badly of you!”

“I said CALM DOWN Elaina.”

Max face is full of rage

“S-Sorry Max I let them get in my head.”

“Don't worry about it let's just get inside the dungeon.”

“Y-yeah.”

In Elaina's thought: He's scary I feel power overflowing inside of him earlier is he really a tamer?

Inside the dungeon, A long dark corridor and a wall made of stone.

“This is the first time I get inside a dungeon.”

“First time? aren't you an adventurer.”

“Yeah but my class is not made for fight that's why I always take quest that isn't dangerous.”

“I see well let's explore and don't worry about monsters I will protect you.”
