「TEEN WOLF X READER」
୨⎯ "Your POV" ⎯୧
I was sleeping peacefully when I suddenly heard my phone ringing. I pick it up and hit the 'answer' button. Then I hear Stiles and Scott's voice on the other end of the line. "Hi, Y/N!" Stiles' voice can be heard clearly over the phone speaker.
"What the **** do you guys want, it's 3 in the morning," groggily, I replied.
"Okay, I saw my dad leave 20 minutes ago, Dispatch called. They're bringing in every officer in the beacon department, even the state police," Stiles explains himself quickly.
"For what?" Scott says with an obvious confusion in his voice.
"2 joggers found a body in the woods," Stiles exclaims. I wouldn't be surprised if he started jumping around like a kid celebrating Christmas.
"A dead body?" Scott asks. At this point, I don't even know how he can pass being 16 years old.
Stiles responds sarcastically, "A body of water, yes dumbass a dead body." To be honest, if Stiles isn't sarcastic, he's not Stiles. So that can be considered good news.
"Scott, you know that we love you right. We do. But for once stop being an idiot," I say drowsily.
"Sure, I guess," Scott replied, his tone betraying his confusion. I'm pretty sure he's furrowing his brows right now.
"Is it, by the way, a murder?" I inquired, intrigued.
"Nobody knows yet," Stiles says in response to my question, "just that it was a girl probably in her 20's,"
"But if they already found the body then what are they looking for?" Scott asks saying my thoughts loudly.
"That's the best part," Stiles exclaims, and I swear I heard squeals. It's as if he's been waiting his whole life to say it. "They only found half,"
"Stiles, please no. I already know what you are thinking right now," I say with a frustrated sigh.
"That's right, we're going to find the other half," Stiles says, completely ignoring the fact that I said no. "The three of us," He continues.
"Well, my answer is still no," I say sleepily. "You can't convince me otherwise Stiles. I need my sleep," I say with a stern voice. "Goodbye," I say as I hang up the phone and drift off to my dreamland.

୨⎯ "Third Per. POV" ⎯୧
"Did she just end the call just like that?" Stiles asks, his face flushed with surprise.
"If you didn't know, sleep is her priority," Scott says casually.
"True, now let's go," Stiles says as he walks towards his blue jeep.
"I don't think I have a choice, do I?" with a defeated expression on his face, Scott asks.
"Obviously," Stiles says, as he starts his jeep. Scott scurries over the jeep, clearly done with his friend.

୨⎯ "Third Per. POV" ⎯୧
They arrive at beacon hills preserve after a few minutes of driving, where Stiles heard half of the body was discovered. As they exit the jeep, Scott begins to regret his decision to come to the preserve with Stiles.
"Are we really doing this?" Scott regrets the fact that he agreed to go there in the first place.
"You're the one always bitching that nothing ever happens in this town," Stiles says with an annoyed expression that quickly vanished when he remembers about the body that he's planning to find.
"I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow," Scott tries to reason his way out of the situation, even though he knows it is too late.
Stiles sarcastically says, "Right, 'cause sitting on the bench is such gruelling effort."
"No, because I'm playing this year. In fact, I'm making first line," Scott says, his voice as confident as ever.
"Hey, that's the spirit," Stiles says. As they continue walking deep into the woods, Stiles says with a hint of obvious sarcasm, "Everyone should have a dream, even a pathetically unrealistic one."
Scott just shakes his head. "Just out of curiosity, which half of the body are we looking for?" He asks as he walks behind Stiles, a flashlight in Stiles' hand.
Stiles come to a halt for a brief moment, his face lit up with realisation. "I don't even consider that," Stiles says, a chuckle coming out from his mouth.
"And, what if whoever killed the body is still out here?" Scott asks, a grin on his face. As if he already knows Stiles' response.
"Also something I didn't think about," Stiles says as he starts walking and climbing up with Scott close behind.
"It's comforting to know you've planned this out with your usual attention to detail," Scott said this time with sarcasm. Well, if you are friends with two people whose language scream sarcasm. It's gonna rub off on you eventually.
"I know," Stiles admits as he continues his ascent.
"Maybe the severe asthmatic should be the one holding the flashlight, huh?" Scott says breathlessly. He takes out his inhaler and begins shaking it as he climbs to catch up with Stiles.
When they see so many flashlights flashing in the dark wood, they both quickly lie down. Stiles stands up and tries to avoid the officer who approaches their way, while Scott continues to call his friend's name while shaking his inhaler violently.
Stiles comes to a halt when he realises his friend is no longer behind him and turns around to find himself face to face with a dog barking at him.
When the police officer discovers that the person the dog was barking at is Sheriff Stilinski's son, he tries to calm the dog.
"Dad, how are you doing?" Stiles inquires as to if he hadn't just been caught wandering around the preserve where the body was discovered.
"So, do you listen in to all of my phone calls?" Sheriff Stilinski asks, ignoring his son's question.
"No. Not the boring ones," Stiles clarifies as he struggled to catch his breath. He was well aware that he had made such a huge mishap.
"Now, where are your usual partners in crime?" Sheriff Stilinski asks as he looks around the area for Scott and Y/N.
"Scott's home. He said he wanna get a good night's sleep for the first day back at school tomorrow. And Y/N said her sleep is more precious," Stiles says, lying about half of it. "It's just me. In the woods. Alone," Stiles keeps attempting to save his best friend's ***.
Sheriff Stilinski begins shouting Scott and Y/N's names while looking around with his flashlight in hand to get a better sight of his surrounding. When he didn't see anyone else, he sighs and drags Stiles to his car, explaining that they were going to talk about invasion of privacy.
When Scott was certain that the officers were nowhere in sight. He starts walking back to his starting point. He becomes anxious and looked around the woods to make sure he was alone. When he hears wings flapping, he comes to a halt and looks up. He keeps walking and stops when he thinks he sees something. He takes his inhaler and shakes it before putting it in his mouth.
Then, all of a sudden, a swarm of deer rushes towards him. He doesn't have time to run, so he falls and drops his inhaler. With his hand, he tries to shield his face. He begins to stand up as the last deer crosses in front of him.
Scott pulls out his phone and turns on a flashlight to help him in his search for his inhaler in the dark woods. He swipes through some of the leaves but discovers nothing. He takes a step forward and makes a quick glance at something. It was the other half of the body, much to his surprise.
He freaks out and runs backwards, then fall and hit his back against a tree. He then comes to a halt and begins to stands up. While walking, he hears an animal growl and slowly turns his head to meet something that looks monstrous.
Scott is quickly approached by the animal, which bit his side. Scott then bolted, fearful that the animal would eat him alive as it snacks.
He almost gets hit by a car when he comes out of the woods. And, by luck, the car misses him just in time before colliding with him. Scott then lifts his shirt, revealing a bite mark on his stomach's side.

୨⎯ "Your POV" ⎯୧
My car is parked in the school's parking lot. I notice Stiles and Scott conversing and run towards them, clutching my bag tightly. "Hi, guys!" I say loudly as I place my hands on their shoulders. "What are you guys talking about?"
"Well, I got bit," Scott says as if it's not a bad thing.
"By what?" I ask as the curiosity get the best of me.
"It was too dark to see much, but I'm pretty sure it was a wolf," Scott says as he lifts his bag onto his shoulder with one hand.
"A wolf bit you?" I ask slowly. So many thoughts had already raced through my mind. I just hope it's not what I'm thinking about right now.
"No, not a chance," Stiles says, as he walks alongside Scott while I'm walking on Scott's other side.
Scott says, "I heard a wolf howling," in an attempt to prove that he is not lying. I hear his heartbeat is steady, so there's no way he's lying. He's also a terrible liar.
"No you didn't," Stiles says firmly cutting me off from my thoughts.
"What do you mean, how do you know what I heard?" Scott asks Stiles, a dumbfounded look on his face.
"It's 'cause California doesn't have wolves, Scott," I explain as they both turn to face me when they hear my voice.
"Y/N's right, not like 60 years ago," Stiles agreed with what I was just saying.
"Really?" With a worried expression on his face, Scott inquire the both of us.
Stiles looks at Scott and says, "There are no wolves in California, okay."
"Alright, if you guys don't believe me about the wolf, then you're definitely not gonna believe me when I tell you I found the body," Scott says, shifting the conversation's focus. He may be already given up on convincing us that he saw a wolf.
"Are you kidding me?" Stiles exclaims with excitement.
"That's all you care about Stiles?" I ask with a frustrated groan.
"Oh, come on, it's awesome okay. I mean, this is seriously gonna be the best thing that happened to this town since...," Stiles paise for a moment as he sees Lydia Martin, the popular girl, walk past him.
"Since the birth of Lydia Martin," Stiles continues, greeting Lydia, but she ignores him and walks toward the school's entrance. Stiles then starts blaming Scott for being the reason Lydia turns her back on him. Scott just smiles because he knows that Stiles was just teasing him.
When the bell rings loudly to alert the students that class is about to begin, we then make our way toward the school's entrance.

୨⎯ "Your POV" ⎯୧
"As you all know, there indeed was a body found in the woods last night," Mr Curtis states. Scott and Stiles exchange a mischievous smile, while I roll my eyes at their antics. "And I am sure your eager little minds are coming up with various macabre scenarios as to what happened. But I am here to tell you that the police have a suspect in custody," Mr Curtis says as he turns away from the whiteboard, where he was writing Kafka's Metamorphosis.
Scott and I sent a questioning look at Stiles, who simply shrugs his shoulders, oblivious to what their teacher was talking about. Mr Curtis continues, "Which means you can give your undivided attention to the syllabus which is on your desk this semester," while showing the entire class the paper he was referring to.
I pick up the paper and skim it over, glancing over the window when I hear a cell phone ring outside. I notice a pretty brunette girl who I don't recognise and don't think much about it. In the corner of my eye, I notice Scott looking around before rubbing his ear in bewilderment.
When I notice Scott's gaze drawn to the window and his eyes slowly sweep across the classroom before stopping at the door. A few moments later, the Vice Principal enters with a young girl trailing behind him. He introduced the girl as Allison Argent.
The said girl takes the vacant seat behind Scott. I see Scott grab out his pen and hand it over to the new girl.
I can see the girl's bewilderment before she smiles and says, "Thanks."
I raise my eyebrow in confusion before returning to my paper and making a mental note to keep a close eye on Scott.

୨⎯ "Third Per. POV" ⎯୧
The bells ring, and students flood into the halls, conversing loudly with their peers. Scott fiddle with his locker while spotting Allison down the hall. Y/N approaches him and places her hand on his shoulder. Scott is startled out of his daze and turns to face the girl beside him.
"Scott, you're staring,"
"No, I'm not,"
"Whatever makes you sleep at night," Y/N says smugly and walks towards Lydia and Allison when she notices the wave that Lydia gave to her.
"Allison, this is Y/N, my best friend. Y/N, this is Allison," Lydia introduces us to each other.
"Nice to meet you," Y/N says as she extends her hand for Allison to shakes.
Allison smiles and shakes the girl's hand, saying, "You too."
Jackson walks up behind Lydia and places his arm around her waist. Lydia greets Jackson and gives him a peck on the lips. When Jackson notices Y/N, he rolls his eyes with an irritated expression.
Scott and Stiles are watching the exchange from across the halls, as another girl comes to a halt beside them at the sight of the four. "Can someone tell me how the new girl is here all of five minutes, and she's already hanging out with Lydia's clique?" The girl questions while resting her hand on her hips.
"Because she's hot," Stiles responds. "Beautiful people herd together," He continues. "And we're fortunate that Y/N is our friend."
Scott nods and smiles. But as he returns his gaze to the four, his smile fades. His ears can pick up the conversation.
"So this weekend, there's a party," Lydia hints to Allison.
"A party?" The brunette question.
"Yeah, Friday night," Jackson informs.
"You should come," Y/N says.
"Uh, I can't. It's family night this Friday. Thanks for asking,"
"You sure? I mean, everyone's going after the scrimmage. Even this girl is going," Jackson gestured towards Y/N while the said girl nodded and smiled at Allison.
"You mean like football?"
"There's no such thing as football in here," Y/N chuckles. "The sport here is lacrosse."
"We've won the state championship for the past three years," Jackson says.
Lydia smiles as she brushes her hand through Jackson's hair and says, "Because of a certain team captain."
"That obviously is Jackson Whittemore," Y/N informed. "Because that's the only thing he talks about 24/7,"
"I'll take that as a compliment," Jackson smiles sarcastically at Y/N. "Well, we have practice in a few minutes. That is if you don't have anywhere else-"
"Well, I was going to-"
"Perfect," Lydia cuts Allison off. "You're coming," Lydia grabs Allison and Y/N's wrist with both of her hands and drag them to the lacrosse field.
_________ ׂׂૢ་༘࿐
୨⎯ "Third Per. POV" ⎯୧
Lydia leads the trio to the lacrosse field. Lydia and Allison are already seated on the stand, and they both look up to see Y/N still standing, not making any movements to sit beside them.
"I'm sorry guys but-"
"You're gonna sit on the bench," Lydia cuts Y/N off with a soft smile. "You did that every year so just go,"
"Thanks, Lyds," Y/N said with a smile as she walked over to the player bench.
Coach Finstock speaks with Scott and hands him the goalie equipment. That's going to be awesome. Y/N pondered, a mischievous grin on her face. She takes a seat next to Stiles and greets him.
"You're not gonna believe what Scott just said to me," Stiles starts the conversation between them.
"No I can't," Y/N shoots Stiles a confused look. "Because you didn't tell me what Scott had said,"
"He said he'll be making first line and gonna leave me sitting on this bench alone," Stiles says dramatically while waving his hands exasperatedly.
"Bitch," Y/N says with an offended expression. "I always seat on the bench with you guys,"
"I know," Stiles sighed. "But you didn't talk to us. Instead, you talk to that tall guy that I don't even know the name,"
"I still seat on the bench" Y/N declares. "And FYI, he's adorable. Bye Stiles," She waves and makes her way to Isaac.
Stiles simply waves back and shifts his gaze to the field. When Coach Finstock blows his whistle, Y/N notices Scott gripping his head tightly from the corner of her eyes while talking with Isaac. Instead of conversing with Isaac, Y/N now concentrates on the games. The said guy simply stares at her, confused, but shrugs it off.
One of the players throws the ball with his lacrosse stick, which hit Scott's mask and knocks him to the ground. "Hey, way to watch your face, McCall!" Coach Finstock and the other lacrosse players were all laughing. Stiles makes a slight grimace. Scott gets up and positions himself, trying to ignore the fact so many people were laughing at him.
Scott easily caught the next ball with a surprised expression and a light chuckle. After that, he has an easy time catching all of the balls that are thrown his way. With an angry expression, Jackson makes his way to the front and throws the ball. Scott, on the other hand, has no trouble catching the balls. Stiles begins to cheer for his friend loudly.
While with Y/N, she's ecstatic that her friend gets to catch the ball. But we're talking about Jackson here. Scott has been a lousy lacrosse player for as long as she can remember.
Lydia is cheering for Scott, while Jackson looks at Lydia with an incredulous expression on his face. Lydia simply looks at Jackson and continues to cheer for Scott.

୨⎯ "Your POV" ⎯୧
"I don't know what it was. It was like I had all the time in the world to catch the ball," Scott says while walking across the puddle. "And that's not the only weird thing," Scott continued.
I don't want to make any assumptions, but I'm hoping Scott's situation isn't what I'm thinking about. "I can hear stuff I shouldn't be able to hear. Smell things," He cuts me off from my thoughts.
"Smell things? Like what?" Stiles asks.
"Like the Mint Mojito gum in Stiles' pocket,"
"I don't even have any Mint Mojito..." Stiles take out something from his pocket to see that it was indeed a Mint Monito gum.
Scott simply opened his arms and looked at us with an 'I have no idea what's going on or how this happened' expression. Stiles and I just stare at each other and shrug our shoulders.
"So, this all starts with a bite right?" I ask to confirm my suspicion.
"What if it's like an infection, like my body's flooding with adrenaline before I go into shock or something?"
"You know what? I actually think I've heard of this. It's a specific kind of infection," Stiles says with a straight face while I smack my forehead with my palm, expecting what the boy will say to tease their friend.
"Are you serious?" Scott asks, worried already plant on his face.
"Yeah, I think it's called lycanthropy,"
"What's that? Is that bad?"
I had no idea why I was friends with these two at this point. One of them is a bit of a moron, while the other is constantly sarcastic and teases his friend at inconvenient times.
"Oh yeah, it's the worst. But only once a month," Stiles continue without breaking his character yet.
"Once a month?" The worried boy ask.
Stiles says, "On the night of the full moon," and then howls to end his teasing.
"I mean, Stiles isn't wrong," I just shake my head. "You're the one who heard a wolf howling," I continue while walking backwards to face my friends.
"It could be seriously something wrong with me," Scott insisted.
"I know! You're a werewolf!"
"Stiles, I think that's enough. You already worried the poor boy," I send a warning look at Stiles.
The latter just rolls his eyes. "Okay, obviously I'm kidding," He continues how he'll melt silver at shop class because of Friday's full moon. I just roll my eyes and hope that Scott isn't a werewolf, even though there are so many signs that he is.
"I could have sworn this is it. I saw the body, the deer came running. I dropped my inhaler," Scott squats down and sweeps some leaves in the hopes of finding his inhaler.
"Maybe the killer moved the body,"
"If he did, I hope he left my inhaler. Those things are like 80 bucks,"
When I sensed another presence, I turned around to meet with Derek Hale himself. I give both of my friends a gentle nudge. Derek approaches us. "What are you doing here? This is private property,"
"Uh, sorry, man, we didn't know," Stiles says worriedly that's it's obvious he is scared of him. If this were not a serious situation, I would have already rolled down the floor and laughed hysterically.
"Yeah, we're just looking for something, but..." Scott stops for a second when Derek give him a look. "Uh forget it,"
Derek then toss the inhaler to Scott and the said guy catch it perfectly. When Derek is already out of our sight, Scott told us that he gets to go to work.
"Dude, that was Derek Hale," Stiles stops Scott and me. "You guys remember, right? He's only like a few older than us," I nod my head while Scott does the opposite. "His family. They all burned to death in a fire, like, 10 years ago," Stiles continued.
"What he's doing back?"
"Perhaps he has some business here he needs to take care of or something," I casually speculate as I begin walking.
I start to call their name when I hear they not making any movement. We then make our way to Stiles jeep and drive back to each house perspectively.

୨⎯ "Third Per. POV" ⎯୧
"So you're supposed to tell me that there was a time when I didn't go to school. Scott made a shot, first line and in the lacrosse team," Y/N exclaims, a shocked expression visible on her face.
"Yeah," Stiles responds as he continues his search for werewolves.
"And you meant to tell me that there was a wolf hair on the dead body," Y/N says while pacing around Stiles' room.
"Yeah. Why you didn't go to school today by the way," Stiles asks, this time reading some plant called wolfsbane.
"I had some business to sort out."
"Okaaaaay," Stiles says, letting go of the matter despite his suspicions that the girl was lying to him.
"So do you believe that werewolves exist?" Y/N asks, leaning against Stiles to see what the latter was reading.
Stiles remains focused on his research and replies, "At this point, I might."
They hear a knock at the door, and Stiles opens it to find Scott standing there, with a smile on his face. "Get in. You gotta see this thing."
Scott waves at Y/N when he notices the girl sitting on Stiles bed and sit beside her. "I've been up all night reading. Websites, books. All this information." Stiles responds hastily as he picks up some of the strewn papers on the floor.
"How much Adderall have you had today?"
"He had a lot. Like a lot," Y/N responds sarcastically, raising her arms to demonstrate how much Adderall Stiles had that day.
"It doesn't matter. Okay, just listen."
"Oh, is this about the body? Did they find out who did it?" Scott tosses his bag to the ground.
"No, they're still questioning people, even Derek Hale," Stiles sits on his chair.
"Oh, the guy in the woods we saw the other day."
"Yes," Y/N says.
"But that's not it, okay?" Stiles says while his hand moves quickly.
"What, then?"
"Remember the joke from the other day? Not a joke anymore," When Stiles notices Scott's puzzled expression, he continues, "The wolf. The bite in the woods. I started doing all this reading. Do you even know why a wolf howls?"
"Should I?"
"It's to signal its location to the rest of the pack," Y/N chimes in. "So if you heard a wolf howling, that means others could have been nearby," she explains.
"Maybe even a whole pack of them," Stiles says as he stands up from his seat.
"A whole pack of wolves?"
"No, werewolves."
There was an awkward silence after Stiles said those words. "Are you seriously wasting my time with this?" Scott stands up looking at Stiles ridiculously. "You know I'm picking up Allison in an hour," He picks up his bag to put on his shoulder but is stopped by Stiles.
"I saw you on the field today, Scott. Okay, what you did wasn't just amazing, all right? It was impossible."
"Yeah, so I made a good shot."
"You made an incredible shot. But the problem is you suck at lacrosse and you can't suddenly get good at it overnight," Y/N says as she stands up and crosses her arm.
"And don't even think we didn't notice you don't need your inhaler anymore."
"Okay! Dude, I can't think about this now. We'll talk tomorrow," Scott says, his voice tinged with anger.
"Tomorrow? What? No! The full moon's tonight. Don't you get it?"
"What are you trying to do? I just made first line. I got a date with a girl who I can't help wants to go out with me, and everything in my life is somehow perfect. Why are you guys trying to ruin it?"
"We're trying to help okay. Because unfortunately, that's what friends do," Y/N rolls her eyes, annoyed by Scott's behaviour toward them.
"You're cursed, Scott. You know, and it's not just the moon that will cause you to physically change. It also just happens to be when your bloodlust will be at its peak," Stiles sighs leaning his back onto his chair.
"Bloodlust?"
"Yeah, your urge to kill," Stiles responds.
"I'm already starting to feel an urge to kill, Stiles," Scott says while looking at Stiles with a murderous look.
"You gotta hear this," Stiles grabs a book with Y/N by his side. "The change can be caused by anger or anything that raises your pulse," Stiles reads loudly for Scott to hear.
"And we haven't seen anyone raise your pulse like Allison does," Y/N sits back on the bed.
"You gotta cancel this date. I'm gonna call her right now," Stiles moves to his bed to take Scott's cell phone from his bag.
"What are you doing?" Scott asks as Stiles takes out his cell phone from his bag.
"I'm cancelling the date," Stiles declares.
"No, give it to me!" Scott then slams Stiles against the wall and raise his fist. However, Y/N manages to catch his wrist just in time before the fist collides with Stiles' face. With one last glare, she lets go of Scott's hand and flash her red eyes for a split second, too fast for anyone to notice. Scott then scratches Stiles' chair in anger.
He then realises what he had done and apologises to Stiles before exiting the room with yet another apology.
"Are you okay Stiles?" Y/N asks, concern for her friend.
Stiles simply nods and picks up his chair. He then calls Y/N's name for her to see a claws mark at the back of the chair. 'Scott's a werewolf,' they think to themselves as they stare at each other.

୨⎯ "Third Per. POV" ⎯୧
"Where is she?" Scott asks practically to no one when he saw Allison's blazer.
"She's safe. From you," A voice answers.
Scott turns around to confront Derek, who shoves him and causes them to fall to the ground.
"What did you do with her?"
"Shh! Quiet," After that, there was a little pause before Derek continued. "It's too late. They're already here. Run."
They start to run when they hear someone coming towards them. One of the hunters shoots a bow at Scott's arm, and the said guy screams in pain.
When one of the hunters makes his way to come closer to Scott, then, seemingly out of nowhere, Y/N appears and begins to take down the hunters one by one. Derek removes the arrow from Scott's arm and urges him to run.
When the hunters were out of sight, Derek and Scott come to a halt and Y/N casually waited for them while leaning against a tree. "Who were they?" Scott asks still trying to catch his breath.
Before Derek has a chance to answer, Y/N responds, "Hunters."
"The kind that has been hunting us for centuries," Derek elaborates.
"Us? You mean you! You did this to me!" Scott says in rage. "And what even are you?" Scott direct his question toward Y/N.
"It's for me to know and for you to find out," She says while making her way to Derek's side.
"Is it really so bad, Scott? That you can see better, hear more clearly, move faster than any human could ever hope?" Derek stops for a moment and continues, "You've been given something that most people would kill for. The bite is a gift."
"I don't want it," Scott grunts.
"You're gonna accept it eventually," Y/N says this time at Scott's side. The said boy startles and gives the girl a surprising look as to why he didn't notice the girl move from Derek's side to his.
"And you're gonna need me if you want to learn how to control it," Derek says, interrupting Scott from his thought of what Y/N possibly is. "So you and me, Scott, we're brothers now," Derek holding his shoulder for a brief moment before letting go and going away.
Scott turns his head to see the H/C haired girl are nowhere in sight.
