Next day-

Sudh, Nikhil and Sara were in the car, while there was another car with Raman and few guards following her. Sara was driving while Nikhil was checking the documents. Sudh was in her thoughts. While on the way to Abhay’s company the road was fully jammed. Sara was tired of the traffic and decided to change the route.

“What are you doing?” Nikhil asked when Sara was taking a u-turn.

“I can't deal with this traffic. Let’s go the other route.” Sara was clearly annoyed and added, “Don’t you think it’s strange? Today’s a normal Wednesday. And there’s so much traffic only on this route.”

“Well, it seems like the police blocked some roads temporarily for now. There must be something going on.” Nikhil answers looking at his phone, “I see.” Sara was looking at her CEO sitting all silent and gesturing to her husband to talk something.

“aham…. Madam, are you okay?” Nikhil asked Sudh expecting to break the silence. “How long will it take you to drive there? Drive fast!”

They both understood she’s in a bad mood and decided not to disturb her. They arrived after 20 minutes. Sara dropped Nikhil and Sudh at the entrance and went to park the car. There were more guards than normal which felt unusual for Sudh.

They both went inside and someone blocked them asking for their IDs. Sudh was already in a bad mood and the atmosphere around her was making it even worse. They clearly are not Abhay’s guards, because his guards wouldn’t dare to stop her.

“Excuse me. We are from Unicorn construction. She is the CEO. We’re here to meet Mr. Abhay. You can just inform him that we are here.” Nikhil answered him. The guard went back and made a call and came back

just to ask them to head back and return the next day as their CEO is busy with

some company matters.

“Fuck it. I’m going in and you can try and stop me.” Sudh lost her patience and was heading towards the elevator. When the guards tried to stop her, Raman and her guards stopped them. Nikhil was hoping to get back home

alive. Just when the elevator opened Sara screamed, “Wait for me.” She ran to them and they went to the 7th floor to Abhay’s office. When they stepped out of the elevator, there were more guards standing in their way and just then Raman and her other guards reached to clear their way. No doubt the guards Raman chose were skilled.

Between this whole chaos, Sudh smoothly went inside the conference room where there was definitely an important meeting going on. She wouldn’t have decided to disturb the meeting but Abhay and his guards pissed

her off real good.

When she entered, the whole board stood up knowing who she was and the one giving the presentation stood there with a shocked expression.

“Sudh? …. Excuse me everyone, I will clear thi...”,

“Mr. Abhay, sorry to interrupt your important meeting. I’m usually patient but today you just went on my nerves.” She cut off Abhay and walked towards him and gestured to Nikhil to pass the documents to him. “I just need your signature on these and we’ll be done.”

After reading the subject of the documents Abhay looked at sudh, expecting she would explain something. But when she didn’t, he asked her “Are you serious?”

“Sign!” she ordered.

“I’m asking you something, sudh. Do you really have to? I mean, I know I did wrong but cutting off ties between our

companies is. ....”

“I said SIGN!!!” this time she said it with an intimidating tone though his sadness could be seen clearly on his face. Looking at her cold expression and knowing he can’t do anything, he signed the papers.

Meanwhile, on the other side someone was smirking looking at the drama on their screen sitting in a huge master-class like office, on a black chair and called someone, “call off the meeting and come back” said cutting the call.
