Apple of My eye

When I entered, a sweet scent hit my nostrils. Of course, the dare devil’s home today, I walked to the couch and sat there. I know how to get herto come out.

“Oh! I forgot to put the hamster back in his cage. It'll bite thekids." I tried to be loud. "Not at all, aunt sudh. I know our hamster does not bite. You're not going to trick me this time." Her small voice came from behind the drapes. She exposed herself. I went to her slowly and leaned down. I gently tickled her skin. "Ahhh, the hamster is biting me.

Aunt sudhh". She came out and hugged me.

"Got you, Devil. Did you forget that the hamster’s with aunt Sarah?"

"You tricked me again. hump" how lovely she is.

"You were the one who started the game." I made her sit on the couch.

"I missed you very much aunt, the hostel warden is so terrifying. She doesn't let me play games on the phone. She even yanked on my ears. Look at them, they're still red," she whined.

"Aww, I missed you so much, Riya. Don't worry, I'll handle that warden and order our men to pull her ears. But, as for playing phone games, I would do the same. Didn't I tell you not to play games on the phone?" She is indeed naughty.

"I did not, as you said, play on my phone. It was my friend’s. You didn't say I can't use any other phone. Aunt, how innocent are you?" She said placing one palm on her face and the other on her little waist and bobbing her head left and right.

"Am I innocent? I ought to be. So I'll cancel the amusement park, movie, and shopping plans..." I was keeping track of all I had planned for her.

"I'm sure you won't. But okay, I'm not going to play games on the phone..." she said while I raised an eyebrow, "Fine...on any phone," she added cutely, folding her arms.

After a difficult day, my heart is finally at peace. She always brightens my day. We cooked together and watched Cinderella. She dozed off once the movie ended, not before saying how much she likes Cinderella's dresses. I put her to bed and had a warm bath. I switched out the lights.

I opened my laptop while sitting on the bed to look at some files when I received an email from my informant concerning illegal dealing in the underground. The 1st guideline of the underground society is to never get

engaged in any criminal trading. Drug trafficking is the most widespread activity in both the regular and underground world. But, there has been news of underage females being smuggled to Russia. It's an acknowledged fact that the

Russian underground is incredibly brutal and unscrupulous. But they are at the emperor's command.

Every country's secret organisation has an emperor and empress. Getting that position would almost cost you your life. A committee of eight members will report to the emperor and empress. And 4 out of 8 individuals would be politicians and others would be from prominent families. These ten people dominate the entire country. Every member swears allegiance to the society, the emperor, and the empress. More like to sell their souls. The person to break the commitment would vanish from the face of the earth. The whole world functions this way. I have no regrets about taking this road.

I set the laptop down and leaned near the sleeping little girl. She is just like me, a daughter with no mother. I know how hard it is to live in this cruel world full of wolves. I won't let her experience any of that. I'm gonna give her everything she deserves. She's the apple of my eye.~~~~
