Chapter 4 - Decisions

The first time I saw Miss Meryl. She was different from the rest I experimented on she was different. I had to keep her in the hospital that's why I drugged her, she slept for two days straight. I took her blood and went to analyze it, it was perfect it could cure the bird I infected. I have to try it on a human to see how it works. For five years I've been cursed, no aging, no sickness but an unquenchable hunger for blood and Flesh.

  Few hours later, when Sally was trying to seduce me I decided she would be my next victim. Surely Anna wouldn't be my first choice, I didn't want to hurt her, I can't bring myself to hurt her. Its been so long and am still in love with her.Some unlikely happened today and I have to deal with it before it gets out of hand.

I could hear the screams of those I killed before, but it keeps on getting worse. Poor Kate, she only wanted to live by my side for eternity. I did what I had to do, she got out of control. Going on and on with the killings, she didn't do it for food she did it for fun. There was no other way to kill her.... I had to eat her now she's a part of me, in my subconscious telling me she wants to eat. She craves for Human flesh, not chickens and ducks. She made me lose control when Sally was trying to seduce me. For how long will I live with this curse.

I got home and made dinner for me and Han. He could still eat normal food, the curse didn't affect him. I stocked my freezer with lots of meat, it was the only thing that tasted appetizing to me, raw meat. I wait for Han to sleep before I eat, I was even disgusted seeing myself eat the raw chicken I didn't even leave the bone. I keep on getting hungry each passing day, each one worst than the first, i was getting bored of chickens.

"Mummy? " it was Han, he was calling for me I can't let him see the blood on my shirt, I removed it quickly "Sweetie, mommy will be there with you shortly " I went to the washroom, cleaned up and got some fresh clothes on.

"Yes, Han what's wrong " he looked sad and disturbed.

" Mum, I did something bad today? "

He pointed to his wardrobe I got up as I got closer I could feel the stench of blood, I swallowed really hard. I opened the wardrobe just to find our neighbors dog it was dead, some of his parts were bitten off.

"Han did you? " I looked towards him... His face was pale and his eyes were red then he nodded. What have I done? I said as I collapse and started crying.

Mr Wilson, Uncle that what he said I should call him... Its really hard adapting, Laura and Uncle have been very nice, even the maids stopped their gossips. Uncle and Madam Rose recommended me to a school, it was for the gifted. I guess he knew from the start, I was different. Maybe he was to, In a fews days time I will take their exams. My bones have fully healed but I had an odd feeling when I left the hospital, I felt someone watching me. It was creepy, maybe it was the man in the black hoodie... Who knows?

I wore a blue flay gown and some snickers, yes I was going out. It didn't feel right staying in the house, Laura had piano lessons, Uncle had to go to work. He said I should rest before the school starts, he truly has faith in me that I would be admitted. I left the house with a bicycle, its been like forever when I rode one.

After sightseeing and all that I went to a cafe to get a cold drink. This was my first time in a place like this, I've always been in the house. Never had a girls night out, slumber party, sleep over... We all stayed in the same room and it was very huge but it wouldn't count for a sleep over.

"Excuse me, Miss" the waiter gave me another glass of what I had, a milkshake apple flavored. "The gentleman over there already paid for you " am not used to this kind of treatment i just gave him a smile and continued. The drink was drugged, I could tell because it wasn't the same with the one I ordered first. It smelled funny, The man came closer and asked if he could seat

"sure, why not? "I pretended to take a sip, am not sure why but I wasn't comfortable. He's eyes were just scanning through ever inch of my body. It made me question myself if the dress was too short or it was visible.

" you don't look from around here, where are you from? " I...er " I pretended to feel weak and dizzy, I pushed the cup and it poured on the floor and splash on my leg. I watch too many movies someone either drug you to take advantage of you or kidnap you.

" What are you doing here? " I looked up it was a guy, black spiky hair, chiselled chin, he was handsome. He grabbed my hand and helped me up.... " what are you doing " the man got up and challenged him. " can't you tell? Babe wait go and wash up am waiting for you by the car" he said grabbing my waist tightly. Should I still continue with my act? The air got extremely tense. I should just go with the flow I didn't want trouble, having Normies fight wouldn't be good. He took me close and whispered in my ear, something I haven't heard in my life. I slapped him and went into the washroom, I had never felt embarrassed like that before.
