Episode 4

Well, I continue to outline my escape plan:

Since my beloved sister is not in this empire, my dear Dark Emperor will be unaware of her existence. As such, my goal is for him to see her and recognize how esteemed she is to our dear father. As you know, there's tension between the two emperors, and knowing how bloodthirsty he is, I'm quite certain he will want to vex my father with his precious daughter. And what better way to do that than to request an engagement with her.

But that's just the beginning. I have to wait for the banquet day to come and see how it unfolds to proceed with my plan.

In the meantime, I have already sent a letter to my little sister in our father's name, requesting her presence at the palace for the banquet day. Now, all that's left is to wait.

The next day, many guests remain to tour the empire while others return to their lands. Meanwhile, back at the palace, someone requests an audience with Emperor Julius Griffin.

Dark Emperor: I'll cut to the chase, Emperor Julius. I propose an arranged engagement with your daughter to strengthen our peace treaty. Besides, such an engagement would be mutually beneficial, don't you agree, Emperor?

My dear father could not refuse without risking war, so he had no choice but to accept. Thus, an agreement was reached. The engagement was announced that same day, sealed by both emperors. It was agreed that the princess would travel the following month to stay at a prestigious academy to prepare herself to become the next empress of the Dark Empire. At the age of fifteen, she would go to the palace to start the wedding preparations. Having said that, the Dark Emperor left for his empire with his army that accompanied him on his long journey.
