Chapter 4

One fine evening when the stormy weather was strong and the night was just getting started. They went once again following the ship sailing. They swam and swam until the ship finnally took a stop it got slower and soon it was just sitting there. They saw people, humans drinking some dancing and others enjoying themselves with music. They sung once again but the music seemed to be the only thing that reached the human ears. They told themselves they would be back for them after a while when the music stops.

Instead of following the others she stayed there, stealing glances at one sailor, he was dressed nicely and had boots on, his hair the richest shade of brown sugar and his eyes seemed to be glowing with a light shade of emerald green, jaw line really sharp and clean. He looked like a prince and all she wanted to do was capture him in her eyes, or keep watching him from afar for all eternity. She was well aware he would soon be led into the Siren's trap and she couldn't help but feel something towards him it was forbid to feel anything towards any sailor but who said she had to follow the rules as if her life depends on it? Who said she couldn't fall in love? No one did. She took it upon herself to save the sailor at any cost and swam back in a hurry towards the others. "There seems to be a few sailors on the deck, i believe i could lure them in by myself before the morning" she said, Siren's do not communicate much with eachother because their voice is controlling but her voice was too beautiful not to be heard. The others let her go because what could they loose? What they didn't know was she was willing to risk herself to save a man she had just seen, and who doesn't even know she exists. So for the following night she found a spot to keep watching him as he drank with the others, with a "Never tomorrow" smile on his face, she was in love....or so she thought. Soon when they went to sleep she knew she would probably never see the man again if she had just left so she did something she didnt think she should....she sang...a melodious song sung in a soft yet deep voice only for him to hear, only for him....

On the ship

The men drank rum as half the night went away, the captain ordered them to bed and everyone was soon to be inside. The man heard the sudden sound of music and questioned himself about it but it didn't take him long to be turned to the sound slowly following the sound and eventually coming outside to the deck where the captain was asleep he couldn't turn himself the other way and asked out loud "Who's there!?"he yelled out to the ocean but to his suprise someone replied back "I'm here, my love..come to me" is what the voice said he couldn't bring himself not to go and the nearer he went the stronger the sound got to the point he almost jumped into the water just then the voice stopped. There he saw a women with long dark hair her lower half submerged into the water where he could only see those ocean blue eyes and reached out a hand. She didn't offer her hand back because she knew it was poisonous instead she spoke "We can't love but oh have i already fallen for you, my dear" "If only you could promise me to come back for me will i stop myself from capturing you"

"Ofcourse beautiful, i will return as a captain in this very same ship and i shall return to you" "but could you show me.....what you are?.." his eyes were deceiving her and once again she let him take control. She showed him her tail which caught him off guard but impressed him enough to make a bound that he'll come back for her. She let a part of her go with him that day and she watched there in silence as the ship sailed off into the blue she stayed there capturing the moment until the ship could not be seen anymore. She knew she had made a big mistake but who was there to guide her? Who was there to help her? In the end it is always her alone. Maybe that's how it is supposed to be, Siren's are left alone. They are made alone, in the shadows of the sea.
