Nina's POV-

I am really confused right now, how did I end up in a hospital?

My chain of thoughts were interrupted by a lady coming towards me with a bright smile on her face.

She changed my drip before saying, "You have been asleep for whole three days, we though you were going into a coma."

'What I was in the hospital for whole three days!' Everything previously surfaced to me, I was walking till late, the phone call from Kara, the Club and all the humiliation I suffered, and... And... my...

My expression contorted and crystal diamonds fell onto the blanket, shattering into a million pieces just like my dignity, my life, my heart, my trust, my hopes.

Everything was destroyed In just one night.

"Hey! Shhh.... why cry?" The woman who seemed like a nurse soft whispered.

She sat besides me and tapped my head softly, "Don't cry, it wasn't your fault... God will punish them.... That bastard!"

I was shocked at her sudden curse, I look at her comforting smile. 'So they know, They know!

I cry louder and louder.

"Shhh... Come here!"

She embraces me and rakes through my chocolaty brown hair. I didn't want tell anyone what happened to me, I couldn't. But now they know.

They will despise me, hate me. They will loathe me and never let live in peace. A neglected, disgraced woman like me will never live openly and respectfully in this cruel society. Where ever I go and whenever, lecherous boys will follow me with ill intentions; that will be my daily life. Struggling to live or making an earning in this venomous reality. God! Oh, God. What did I do to deserve this?

Since the day I was born I have been battling every day to breath another moment, to see another dawn. I have passed days without eating a morsel, other times I have been beaten up black and blue to the point I wished I'd die. I have cried sleeping and I have woken up from nightmares. Regardless, I have always been a good person or so I tried to; when I'd pass a beggar I would put as much money as I could afford because I've also suffered this torment, I've helped couldn't airily in charities, orphanage homes because u don't want another child to suffer the way I did.

Perhaps I was so deep in my thoughts and had drowned so far into my ocean of sorrow, I didn't realise another woman sitting to left and smiling at me kindly.

I briefly stare at her with a confused expression be for asking, "Umm... Who are you..?" She had that beautiful, angelic smile on her glowing face.

However, she did not reply. I tried again and the nurse who previously comforted me entered the room, placing a tray of fresh fruits on the counter.

"She is the woman who had discovered you and helped you into the hospital." The kind nurse answered peeling an apple.

I was beyond surprised and ecstatic to know who had brought me into the hospital. 'So it was this brave and kind lady.'

Who would ever help a disgraced and abandoned girl in a dirty, narrow valley?

I hold her hands and thank her whole heartedly.

"May I ask for your name...?" I croak.

Silence once again shrouds the entire room before the nurse replies, "She cannot speak, it's a disability."

Oh, God. What did I do? If I had know I would've been different and careful in approach...

"Don't feel guilty."

I nod my head at the nurses statement and kiss my saviours hands. A single, pure tear rolls down smoothly my dry skin and onto her wrinkly hands.

I hug her and she holds me firmly.

Perhaps, she is an angel in disguise sent by God to rescue me.

Sometime had passed since my short, heartfelt meeting with my saviour but I was still in the hospital room, eating grapes.

The nurse told me to only eat fruits and follow the strict diet set by the hospital. I don't like the food they have here, soggy soup and some fruit but oh well, it's better that nothing.

'I wonder where that lady who saved me is now.'

I really wanted her to sit beside me and I wish I could talk to her while she just kept listening to it and giving that beautiful, kind and angelic smile. That smile took away all my worries, my problem. It filled me with light and inspiration to live a better life. It was magic.

'I wish I had that smile.'

The other patients besides me were extremely quiet because they were sleeping.

'Wow.'

The door cranked open and a strange man entered. From my deduction, he must be a doctor. His white coat, that stethoscope around his neck...

He feigned a cough, "Miss Nina, your injuries aren't heavy however they can cause you potential harm. So we will have to detain you in the VIP room of our hospital before we are are you are ready to be discharged." He was skiing through some papers that were hung onto the end of my bed.

'What!? VIP?!'

No! No, I am ready worrying how to pay for the current fees of the hospital let alone affording a VIP room.

"Uhm. Excuse me Doctor, I think I am already recuperating well in this room so there's no bed for me to go to a VIP room, besides you said I am alright." I tried to reason with him.

"I am sorry, but this procedure will be carried out without any obstacles. It is Beccles say for your smooth recuperation." He curtly retorted.

What am I gonna do?
