INVITATION (Part 2)

“oval face, pure blonde hair, emerald green eyes, pixie hair cut, fair skin "

“Belle are you sure that the person you are talking about is a immortal"

“yes if she's not a immortal how did appear out of nowhere in my room"

“fine....fine i believe you, but why did she break into your house in the first place"Livy asked with a frowned face

Ysabelle finally told Livy everything that happened back then, in details

“oh my!...she sure is a immortal"said Livy

“anyways forget it, let's talk about the invitation you got to the banquet, besides how did you get it?" Ysabelle curiously asked

“well... this morning , someone had left it on my doorstep.... anyways I don't know if it was left there by mistake"

“so what are you going to do about it"

“what else is there to do.... it's a rare thing for an invitation to a royal banquet to be given out to an original person...... Ysabelle this is a rare opportunity for us" Livy replied cheerfully with a calm expression

“by the way the banquet is happening in welsia"

“what!" Ysabelle exclaimed

“take a look " Livy spoke as she brings out an invitation card from her purse and shows it to her, Ysabelle takes it from her and reads the details on it, then she looks at Livy

livy shrugged her shoulders and said “anyways am attending it, if it's by mistake or not"

“Livy!, do you know what you are saying, you want to attend a royal banquet in welsia"Ysabelle asked in a moderate tone to avoid stares from people

Livy nodded and said “ I will attend it with you as my plus one...hehe" she giggled

Ysabelle chuckles “ you mean to say me that you want me to travel with you to welsia to attend the royal banquet as your plus one "

“yea" Livy simply replied

“NO "Ysabelle firmly answered

“but why..... welsia is like a land home for immortal beings, I head so many stories about welsia"

“of course you heard stories...I head stories too!" Ysabelle declared

“we get to meet wealthy famous reputable immortal beings"

“common I have never even met a real life immortal let alone wealthy Immortals"

“you've heard everything good about welsia but what about the bad stuff about welsia"

“first of all going to welsia is very much dangerous for a human.... humans who live there are wealthy people who still live there at there our risk"

*Livy paid for the food and left with Ysabelle*

they hailed down a cab and got in

they chattered all the way, then the cab stopped in front of an apartment building

they got off and paid the driver.

Ysabelle and Livy went up to her apartment.

Livy threw herself on the couch and asked “so which dress will you be wearing to the banquet”

“casual....hey by the way...do your parents know you are traveling to welsia"

“oh please....! don't talk about them, they don't care wether I live or die.....they only care about their one and only daughter....am just a servant to them"

“what a pity!"Ysabelle chuckled

Livy didn't respond but she just buried her face in her cupped hands

Ever since she finished high school her parents refused to send to college, instead they told her to work and cater for herself, while on the other hand they put her elder sister in college, she knew in their eyes she was just a nobody to them, but she just wanted them to treat her like their own daughter. Her parents where not poor neither where they rich, they where just a working class people. Livy had worked several job in other to save enough money go to college.

“Hey...do you have it in mind to go to college" Livy asked Ysabelle curiously

“college? I don't want to go to college"

“but why" Livy was confused to why Ysabelle does not want to attend college

“no reason...I just don't want to go to college"

“so why do you work several different jobs" Livy quizzed

“no I don't"

“you literally work at so many places, so what's your budget"

“my budget is to start a small business and to not die of hunger "

“but you don't have a business degree or a business license " Livy chuckled

“that doesn't mean cuz I can always forge them or buy forged ones"

“that illegal you know right..."Livy stated as she laid on the couch

“I know it's illegal I might just do it anyways....beside, I said will do it doesn't mean I will actually do it " Ysabelle said as she pretended to yearned in other to excuse herself to her room

“Hey we both know you don't sleep...you find it hard to sleep...you barely sleep and now you are pretending to yearn so you could avoid this topic about you going to college or not"

Livy stated as she saw through her actions

“why are you so annoying....you are so..so annoying... change the topic right now or I'm kicking you out of my house" Ysabelle declared in a warning tone, she goes to her kitchen and Livy goes to her room

Ysabelle opens the refrigerator and take out snacks, then later she takes out fruits and blends them together and adds milk,

she pours the blended fruits into two glasses and goes to the room

Livy takes the glass from Ysabelle and asked “what about the snacks"

“the snacks are for me" Ysabelle said as she turns on her laptop to watch a movie

“do you want to watch a movie " she asked

“nah" Livy says as gulps down the fruits juice and drops the glass, she got on the bed and soon slept off.

Later in the morning Ysabelle got dressed and went to coffee shop where she met up with her talent agent

“good morning" Ysabelle greeted her agent and dropped the cup of coffee on the table, he took a sip from the coffee and smiled at her

“you got the role" he cheerfully said

“what... really"

“yes you did, the director and film producer wants you to be part of the cast for the movie and Ysabelle don't be rude to decline this role like you did to others"

The agent said as he worried that Ysabelle would decline the role, he knew Ysabelle as someone who wasn't serious about acting however she has an excellent acting skills without practice or even attending acting school, she was a person that likes staying at home and doing nothing, at same time she was a workaholic, she found it difficult to focus only on acting, she always declined a role right after she got it, some people knew that she was not serious with acting but they didn't know why she kept on going for auditions, even so many directors wanted her to play a role in their movie, while some directors felt she wasn't serious and not also good enough

“but..." Ysabelle wanted to say someone but the agent cut her off

“but nothing.... Ysabelle heather when will you get serious"

“I have to work..... don't blame me for always declining roles...plus if I don't work how would I feed...just to remind you I'm the only person that feeds me"

“i just need you to focus on your acting career" the agent stated

“ok" Ysabelle replied

the agent let of a sign of relief

“the filming starts next month, the filming will last for six months or more..... here you go, this is your schedule" the agent said as he passes over a schedule file to her

Ysabelle scanned through it and asked “why do I have a lot of screen time"

“it is expected because you are the main character of the movie so you get a lot of screen time"

“so for the next few months I will be occupied with only filming"

“yes" the agent said and Ysabelle stared at him in confusion

“so when will I have time to go to work "

“when you are done filming, oh and by the way this is your acting contract" the agent takes out a file and hand it over to her “I helped you get a contract with the production company"

“do l really need to sign it" she asked with a emotionless face,

she didn't see the need to sign it

“normally any actor would be thrilled to receive a contract_ why are you different why not sign it immediately oh and by the way if you decline this acting contract I will peacefully terminate our contract and we will go our separate ways" the agent said as he felt that if she wasn't serious about this career then there was no point working with her if she doesn't have interest, when he first saw her it was only few years ago and he thought she was capable so he introduced her to this career and they signed a contract, she did have what it takes to be a celebrity, a top notch actress, but no matter how he tried to keep her focused, all his efforts were almost in vain, she was just someone that always wanted everything don her way.

“fine...I will take my precious time to think about it"

“Good...oh and there is a dinner party tonight for cast members and crew members.....will you attend?"

“I don't have an option to not attend"

“alright, so the party will be taking place at a restaurant" the agent says as he writes drown the address of the restaurant and hands' it over to her.

“ok” Ysabelle said and left

_She arrived at a salon_

“good morning how are you all doing" Ysabelle greeted everyone at the salon, then put on her apron to attend to customers

why styling a customer hair she subconsciously paid attention to what her colleagues where discussing

“are you sure of what you heard"

“of course, haven't you heard that there is a king who is having a banquet, and few lucky people both in and outside welsia are invited" the person who brought up the topic stated

“really"

“it would be a dream come through for me to attend that kind party"someone said

“I know, right, cuz they will be many influential people attending it, seriously I wish I was invited, but then again people of low class are not invited to such events"another person added

“what's so fun about going to welsia" Ysabelle asked while styling a customers' hair

“hey for starters the welsia is big, it's like a home for Immortals, rich wealthy people, it's a place ruled by kings and queens" someone replied

“but that's not the answer to the question" Ysabelle said

“seriously Ysabelle you are such a joy killer, why do you act as if you don't have an interest in going to welsia or attending the event"

“I really don't have an interest, I just feel like they is nothing special about going to the event"

“ok so you have said your mind Ysabelle, now have you guys heard of the king that is hosting the banquet..."the person said and everyone's eye lit up

“oooohh I heard that he is always on a low profile" someone stated

Ysabelle just continued with what she was doing and didn't bother to join into their discussion anymore.

Once it was evening, Ysabelle went home and got ready to go the restaurant where the dinner party was taking place

she wore a turtle neck Bishop sleeves short jumpsuit, after that she braid her long hair, left the house and headed to the restaurant
