Episode 20

Edwin dismissed the idea that the woman in front of him was not Emma. It was crazy to think that another woman could take Emma's place. Knowing the hell that awaited her beside him, what great motive would someone have to occupy the miserable position that awaited Emma? Nobody would subject themselves to such humiliation, even if that woman were identical! No one would step in to replace another person, only to be humiliated. Diana tilted her head again to avoid Edwin's furious gaze. Seeing Diana bow for the second time only infuriated Edwin further. Edwin couldn't believe how good Emma was at lying. She had done it once before, pretending to be an innocent girl deeply in love with him, but the second time wouldn't work. Enraged by the woman's innocent demeanor in front of him, Edwin stared fiercely at Diana as if he wanted to kill her with his own hands. Edwin snatched the diamond necklace box from Diana's hands before speaking.

"Emma, I don't care how much you try to pretend in front of me, you won't deceive me for a second time."

"If you don't want this necklace, fine. But remember, it's the only valuable thing you'll receive from me," Edwin said through clenched teeth.

Diana didn't care about the value of the necklace inside the small red box. Nothing was more precious to her than her beloved daughter Sara. She also wouldn't allow the man in front of her to continue humiliating her.

"I said I don't want anything from you, no matter how valuable these jewels may be. They hold no value to me," Diana replied, revealing her identity without caring.

Edwin continued to stare at Diana for a few more seconds. The more he looked, the more confused he became. The girl was so identical to Emma, yet at the same time, so different.

Edwin violently grabbed Diana's arm and pushed her into the registry office. He wished this charade would end as quickly as possible.

After signing the documents certifying their marriage, Edwin and Diana got into the car to return to the mansion.

Throughout the drive, neither Edwin nor Diana uttered a single word. Diana, for her part, just wanted this to be over quickly.

Upon arriving at the Zhoa mansion, Edwin parked the car at the entrance. Before getting out, he glanced at the woman beside him.

In that moment, Diana stared in awe at the mansion before her. Edwin's mansion was immense, filled with luxury in every corner. What caught Diana's attention the most was the huge rose garden beside the enormous mansion.

"Do you like roses?" Edwin's question caught Diana off guard.

She loved all kinds of flowers, especially red roses, but not Emma, as she was allergic to them.

Diana's hands clenched tightly into fists. It was clear that she was very nervous.

Realizing how nervous Diana became with his question, Edwin had an idea. The last time Emma visited him, he found out that she was allergic to roses.

With every passing moment, Edwin began to realize something, but he chose to ignore it until he knew the whole truth.

"We should go inside," Edwin ordered coldly.

Edwin stepped out of the car and hurriedly walked towards the mansion's entrance, hoping that Antonio and Lorett had already arrived.

He just hoped that Lorett wouldn't become a headache for him, as he wasn't in the mood to tolerate anyone lately.

Diana quickly ran after him, disregarding all the servants lined up outside the mansion. They had all been informed about the arrival of someone very important to Edwin, so they were waiting outside for his arrival.
