He moved away from them, leaving everyone confused by the boss's attitude. Gabriela was also nearby, exchanged glances with Adrian, and shrugged, not understanding Benicio's behavior.

"By the way, I don't think I introduced myself. My name is Helena," she said with a smile on her face.

"Nice to meet you, Helena. Since you already know my name, I guess I don't need to introduce myself again. And once again, thank you for the cookies. However, please let me go back to my office now, or I might get reprimanded again by my boss.

Adrian made up an excuse and went back to his office. Meanwhile, the two women who had stayed in the hallway decided to go to a staff lounge for some coffee. Helena returned first, while Gabriela stayed in the room and ended up overhearing a conversation between other coworkers.
