I don't trust him, so I'll find out later if he's related to Daniela. If he is, I'll kill her right in front of his eyes—it's already decided.
I left the place with Bleer's blood on my hands.
Later, I went to see Daniela at her house.
"The charismatic young man came to visit!" she exclaimed, opening the door.
"I came to teach you." I pushed her against the wall and kissed her. She didn't reciprocate, seeming to be in shock.
"Yes, you don't know how to kiss; I guess he won't be your boyfriend," I said, and she smiled foolishly.
"You're teaching me for when I date Alberto so I won't look ridiculous."
"I don't want you to be a spinster all your life, do I? Besides, you're a virgin, the stupid virgin."
"Stupid your behind."
"Do you want me to teach you or not?" I asked.
"Yes, I want you to."
I drew closer, took her by the waist, and kissed her again.
"First, you should close your eyes; it's uncomfortable to kiss with your eyes open, and your lips should be parted, open your mouth."
"Like this?" she opened her mouth in a huge O.
"No, just enough so the other person's lips can fit."
"Okay, I got it."
I placed my hand on her cheek, and she closed her eyes. I observed her for a moment and then approached her lips. She parted them slightly, and mine fit perfectly with hers.
"You should kiss as if you were sucking on a lemon, starting slowly, gently, and sweetly."
I whispered to her lips, and to be honest, it wasn't a lemon but a strawberry—it was sweet and not the least bit sour.
Her lips moved in the rhythm I set, but the kiss grew more intense, and she began losing breath.
She gasped as she caught her breath.
"I've seen that Alberto kisses his girlfriend passionately; if you don't know how to do that, he'll leave you. Want to try again?"
"Yes, professor," she said, and I kissed her again. This time the kiss was much more fervent. I lifted her hands above her head, holding them against the wall while kissing her with desire. My tongue entered her mouth, exploring every corner, and I pulled away upon seeing her struggle to breathe. I touched my forehead to hers and kissed her again when she had caught her breath.
My heart was pounding; I couldn't stop kissing her, her strawberry taste, her vanilla scent—they were addictive.
After nearly half an hour of practice, she finally learned how to kiss.
"I have to go," I said, lightly combing her hair, her lips swollen.
"Thanks for teaching me! Alberto will like it!" she said.
For some reason, my hands clenched into fists, but I just nodded.
"Yeah, though knowing him, he'll want to move from kissing to the second base," I said.
"What's the second base?"
"Virginal Daniela, you know nothing about men."
"Aless."
"I'll pick you up to go to the club. Stephy called; she's going with Alberto because they have a group project, so she won't come to pick you up."
Who am I kidding, Stephy’s in Alberto’s bed right now, but it doesn't hurt like before.
"Okay, thanks for the lesson."
"Daniela?" I was about to ask her about the painting, but in the end, I didn't.
"Yes?"
"Invite Alessia; I'll ask Stephy to invite Charles. If I invite Alessia, she won't want to go, but if someone else does, maybe she'll want to. I think it’ll be good for her to have a distraction."
"Yes, sure, I'll invite her."
"Goodbye." I approached and kissed her again; I have no idea why I did it.
But I ended up leaving her house.
When I arrived at my car, I had one of Daniela’s hairs in my hand. I rolled it into a napkin and stored it alongside Bleer's blood.
I don't know how I ended up kissing her with that stupid pretext of teaching her, I've never been so concerned about anyone else's love life.
I showered while Alessia was furious in her room. From mine, I could hear objects flying and crashing into the floor and the wall.
After changing, I headed to her room.
"Everything okay?" I closed the door as a knife flew towards my head; if I hadn't closed it, it would have lodged in my skull.
"Sorry!" I heard from the other side and slowly opened the door.
"You're unarmed now?"
"Yes, come in."
"Why so angry?" I asked, and she sighed.
"Charles isn't answering my calls, and our parents haven't hired new staff."
"The twins are old enough not to need nannies," I said.
"And that damn cook who's not around; she used to indulge me occasionally."
"Stephy killed her," I mentioned, and she threw a vase at me. I moved aside, and it shattered against the wall.
"Don't get mad at me; I didn't kill her."
"But that damn bitch Stephy did, for you."
"Alessia, calm down now."
I hugged her and stroked her head.
"Alessandro, I need to kill someone; I'm burning up inside."
"We're going to the club tonight; you'll find someone there."
"Daniela called me, told me to go with you guys. I'll go, but to find a new toy."
"That's fine, sister, you know I support you. Look, you're all dirty. You need a bath."
I took her to the bathroom and prepared the bathtub for her.
Warm water scented with rose-smelling bubbles.
She smiled, and I left the bathroom.
Then I went to my painting studio.
While painting, Stephy's face was in my mind, but I ended up painting Daniela.
I paused, gazing at the canvas, then set it on fire. I watched as it burned, but when the flames nearly reached her lips, I grabbed the extinguisher and put it out. I sighed as my gaze was lost in those lips I devoured this afternoon as if they were one of the finest delicacies, and they indeed tasted good.
"Damn Daniela, why are you getting into my head, stop playing with me." I threw the remains of the canvas in the trash.
"It smells like smoke!" my mother said right behind me.
"Hi, Mom," I replied, and she sat in my painting chair.
"You know, I don’t know where you got your love for painting; your father and I know nothing of it."
She picked up a paintbrush.
"Mom, deep down, I think I might not be your son."
