Neal carefully walks through the crop field, looking for a key point to start the fire, while Samael can't believe he's accompanying the raven-haired man in this madness, so he tries to see that there are no guards or cameras nearby.
"It's enough, we need to get out of here. It's better to leave everything be."
"And forgive the offense? Don't forget that he wanted you to give your sister as if she were a prostitute. That's unforgivable."
Samael purses his lips at the words, so he lets the raven-haired man do what he plans. Neal sprinkles alcohol on the plants and lights the lighter to start the fire, both hurry to leave that place, passing through the bushes, they can see how the smoke starts to rise, Samael can't believe he allowed Neal to do such a thing; they move away until they hear the voices of the guards, so they must hurry before they are seen, in no time, the crop field starts to burn, the commotion can be heard from all directions, as there are nearby farms, the firefighters were called, Neal and Samael get into the car to hurry and leave, no one must see them.
Neal watches from the window as the smoke and fire grow.
"Haha! That old man will soon be crying for help."
"I can't believe I accompanied you to something like this."
"But don't you feel better this way? You should have been the one to set it on fire."
"All I hope is that no one knows it was us. Paul, keep your mouth shut."
Samael looks at the driver and he just smiles.
"Don't worry, sir, the important thing is that you protected Miss Anne's honor."
The trip was somewhat long, upon arriving at the house, Neal and the driver get off, but when Samael does, he almost falls and when he walks he seems drunk, Neal and Paul look at each other strangely, so Neal approaches.
"Hey, are you alright?"
Samael crosses his arm over Neal's shoulder and smiles while patting him on the cheek.
"Of course I'm fine, better than ever."
Neal stares at him, his pupils dilated and looking around.
"Don't mess around..."
"What's wrong?"
"N-nothing... you drive the car."
"Alright."
Paul gets into the car to take it to the garage while Neal takes Samael, who doesn't resist, but struggles as he can barely stand, they both go up the stairs embracing each other, something that is seen by the other boys, at this point there are no doubts that they are lovers. Neal arrived at Samael's room.
"I can't believe it, when did you inhale the smoke? We were together."
"The room is moving..."
Samael laughs and when Neal leaves him on the bed he pulls him close by the nape of his neck and falls on him.
"Don't mess around... let go of me..."
"You're sexy..."
"I already know that."
"Too bad you have a d*ck..."
"Yeah, yeah and you're lucky I don't take advantage... hehe..."
By the morning it was all over the news about the fire and reporters were questioning that man, as he appears as the owner of the property, the men at the scene were arrested and although they don't say anything, the owner is in serious trouble.
"Look at him, he doesn't even know what to say."
Neal was in the kitchen with the other guards.
"The boss was saved, thank goodness the old man rejected the deal with him."
Josh adds, knowing that Samael was upset for not sealing that deal, but now, perhaps it was for the best. It was the talk of the town and the old man will be in serious trouble, as his partners won't be happy about not receiving their merchandise.
"But how stupid..."
Dylan throws his whisky glass against the wall, as he had a delivery pending and that old man promised to deliver the merchandise on time.
"The Italians won't be happy without receiving their order."
That was Rob, Dylan's assistant, an older man, but always loyal to the family.
"Find a supplier quickly. Because of those idiots, we'll lose profits."
After winning the opportunity from Samael, now he comes up with all that. He had plans to go out with Emily but will have to postpone it, he needs a solution for the merchandise delivery or otherwise it will be a problem to do business again as he will have a reputation for not fulfilling. He takes out his phone and dials Anne.
[Anne, I suppose you have already seen the news, I need merchandise for the Italians tonight]
[You should talk to my brother about that, you know my businesses are different.]
Anne purses her lips, that's the only way she calls, not even a hello.
[I specifically need you to talk to your brother, you know that there is not much trust between him and me.]
He is desperate, otherwise he would not turn to that woman.
[My brother lost a deal with that old man, I don't think he will help you, he is busy looking for another partner.]
[Come on Anne, if you know of anyone at least tell me, I'll owe you one.]
[You have nothing I need, goodbye.]
Before he could protest, the girl had hung up, causing Dylan to curse and hit the desk with his fist.
At the Price mansion, Anne turned off her phone to avoid receiving a call from her supposed fiance.
"Wow, you really don't like him..."
Neal was lying face down on the carpet in the girl's room, while she helped him change the bandage on his thigh, the cut was small, but deep.
"I used to like him, but I realized he is not what I'm looking for. Plus, I'm sure he already has a girlfriend, I'm just waiting for the day he breaks off the engagement."
"I didn't expect that..."
"And I never expected that all those moans everyone heard were for this."
Anne pokes the wound with her hand and Neal complains.
"Hey! That hurts... I can't believe they think your brother and I fu*ked."
Anne starts to laugh, she really believed it when Josh told her the rumor. Since the bandage was changed, Neal puts on his pants again and stands up.
"Hey, do you want to know something?"
"I hope it's not nonsense."
"The crop field, your brother and I did it."
"Nooo! Really? I believe you, but my brother..."
"The old man wanted you in exchange for the deal and we defended your honor."
"But that's disgusting... damn dirty old man, they should have burned him too."
Neal stays to tell her how they entered the place, but the funniest part was that during their escape, they didn't notice that Samael had inhaled some smoke and he shows her some photos he took that night, ones that will be very useful to her in the future.
"You're a damn, you're lucky to still be alive."
"Admit it, this amuses you."
"Obviously, it's what my brother needs, he was getting too bitter."
They both laugh, while at the door, Samael listens to their conversation, apparently Neal gets along well with his sister and there is no danger of him having ulterior motives with her. He shudders at the mere thought that those ulterior motives are towards him.
