"Day five as the little bear's bodyguard, today she put on more makeup than a clown, because she's going to see her so-called boyfriend, who I'm starting to think is imaginary."

Neal speaks while recording everything with his phone and Anne walks beside him putting on makeup and looking annoyed at the raven-haired man from time to time, while they are in the car. Anne has a date with Dylan, so it is likely that he will see him and recognize him, he just hopes that he won't say anything.

"I don't understand why my dad insists on this engagement, we are not in ancient times."

The girl crosses her arms, contrary to what Neal believes, she doesn't seem excited to see her fiance.

"What if I put a wig on you and you go? That way you can ruin the date."

"Sure, he wouldn't notice you going from a dwarf to a six-foot-tall giantess."

Neal is surprised by Anne's behavior, she is supposed to be infatuated with Dylan. The car stops in front of a luxurious hotel, which has a large restaurant inside, Anne gets out followed only by Neal into the place, to the restaurant, there at a table was Dylan, Neal stays at the entrance and only Anne enters, they both talk while their food is served, Neal, on the other hand, looks for a place to sit, it will be boring to be there, he just hopes that this date won't last long.

Josh approaches Neal seeing him standing outside.

"Looks like the date is going well. I still don't understand, we are not in centuries past, why does she have to marry that guy?"

"It's Neal... sure, I know, daddy controls everything and if you don't obey, you won't be able to do anything."

"Exactly, I have my own businesses, outside the family, but if my father wanted to, he would take everything from me."

"What a complicated life..."

Anne just looks out the window, pursing her lips, at times like these she would have liked to be a normal girl, with a normal family.

"By the way... how did you end up here? Being the bodyguard of this spoiled girl?"

"I saved your brother's life, he looked for me and offered me a job, nothing out of the ordinary."

Neal shrugs after saying that.

"At least tell me a little about yourself, I'm your boss, I deserve to know."

"Nothing important, I grew up on the streets, I got strong, that's all."

"Boring..."

Upon arriving at the house, they both get out of the car and Josh takes it to the garage, as they were going to the entrance, they see another car arrive, from which the brown-haired man gets out, Anne greets him as usual, while Neal smiles at him flirtatiously and winks at him, causing chills in the brown-haired man.

"Hey fa*t, are you looking for the boss to cut your throat?"

"Why? I haven't said or done anything."

"Damn fa*ot..."

That huge man walks past but bumps Neal with his shoulder, it was quite obvious that he doesn't like the gorilla just for showing interest in a man.

"Don't let him provoke you, Stan is always like this."

"Nothing he says affects me. Besides, he doesn't care who I flirt with."

"But don't do it with the boss, you're looking to get your neck broken."

"He won't, if he wanted to do it, he would have done it from the start."

"It's because he's grateful, but don't push your luck."

Neal just goes to sit on the sofa that is in the employee break area, closes his eyes remembering when he first met Samael Price. He was visiting one of the nightclubs that belong to his family, when he left a shooting started by some enemy group, then just when one of those men was about to shoot Samael in the back, Neal threw himself at him to avoid the shot, but due to the momentum he ended up hitting his head against the wall, Chronos's men rushed to take Samael, leaving Neal lying there and it was Neal's companions who took him to a distant hospital, perhaps it was because of that blow that he was able to be reborn in the body he now has. That was a very good way to get Samael's attention, although, he feels it's a bit similar to what happened when he died in his other life, maybe because of that similarity is that he is now Neal.

"I hired you to take care of my sister, not for you to sleep."

Neal feels himself fall when someone flips the couch where he was sleeping, he felt the blow to his butt and immediately sits up.

"But what the fu*k, who dares to interrupt my... nap...?"

The one standing before him was Sameal and he didn't look happy at all.

"Where's Josh? I'm going out and I need my escort."

"Mmm... Josh... Josh... Oh! Yeah, wait, I got him right here, in my pocket."

He puts his hand into his pants pocket and when he takes it out again he shows him the middle finger.

"I'm not Josh's babysitter, how should I know?"

Samael looked quite irritated by the black-haired man's little joke.

"Get up, you're coming with me..."

"What? Hey! Don't even dream about it, I'm the princess's bodyguard, not the ogre's."

Neal heard Samael's teeth grind, he looked very angry. The brown-haired man approaches and grabs him by the collar of his shirt.
