Episode 2

During his time in the hospital, he had to assimilate everything that was happening. The worst part was that he ended up in the body of the idiot who would die saving his whiny sister. Upon arriving, he went straight to his room and closed the door to avoid being disturbed. He still needed time to process everything in his head. He had to find a way to live; he wasn't planning on dying a second time, especially if it meant he wouldn't reincarnate again.

"I don't know what they see in the whiny girl to fight for her."

He made a face of disgust. Maybe she was pretty, but nothing out of this world. He saw himself as more handsome than his now-sister. He was about to close his eyes when he jumped out of bed. Now that he thought about it, he had to analyze what part of the novel he was in, to know if Emily had already met Dylan Harvey.

He sat on the bed, analyzing the situation, trying to remember if there was an incident where he, Neal Mitchell, suffered a severe blow to the head in one of his attempts to infiltrate the Chronos organization led by Samael Price, the villain of the story and brother of the first villain Anne Price. That villain was hot, not like his sister, who was a whiny little girl.

"You have terrible taste, you morons..."

So far, Emily had already met the infamous Dylan, and at this moment, the man must have arrived home worried about Emily because of what happened to her brother. At least he should be grateful that he paid the hospital expenses. And yes, in that scene, Neal goes down to thank him, so he has to do it. The raven-haired man goes down to find Dylan sitting on the couch, a handsome man in a suit, but one that didn't hide the fact that he had a well-built body. Dylan stands up in greeting.

"Emily tells me you're feeling better."

"Yes, thank you very much for your help. I'll pay you back everything as soon as I can."

"It's not necessary; it was a pleasure to help Emily's family."

Dylan looks at Emily, and she blushes. Neal just rolls his eyes; what a cliche scene. Dylan stays for dinner, and Neal is grateful that his sister knows how to cook because he doesn't know anything about that. When they finish, Neal excuses himself; for now, he has to rest while he thinks about what he will do from now on. He knows that he will soon be called upon to infiltrate Samael's organization. As he knew, the next day, he was called by his superior to inform him about the job he had to do. Despite the accident, the plan had worked; but because of this, he would have to lose all contact with his family. He would be given a new identity and a place to stay. He would be there for a few weeks until he was given the order to start the operation. When he returned home, he let his sister know that he would be going to another city for a while. Of course, he couldn't tell her about his mission. He took only what was necessary and left. His new home was on the other side of town, in the slums. He had to act like a young delinquent, make his name known so that Chronos would be interested in him. That's where he planned to follow the main plot because once inside the organization, he would do his best to survive. To do so, he must prevent the Price siblings from getting involved with Emily and Dylan.

A few weeks later, a rumor reached the ears of the leader of Chronos that in the slums, there was a boy who had united all the criminals in that place, he had them under his command. Although his group was small, it was making a lot of noise.

"Do you think he'll give us any trouble?"

Asked the brown-haired man behind the desk, leaving the information folder on the furniture.

"I doubt it, but I can recommend bringing him to Chronos. Look who it is."

The brown-haired man checked the information again. The photo of the black-haired boy was first. He was the boy who had saved his life weeks ago, but during the chaos, he didn't know what became of him. Below was his age, name, address, and previous occupation. He was just a street kid with no identity who had grown up fighting for his life in the slums.

Neal had settled in a small warehouse adapted for him and the men he had put in charge. Upstairs, he had a small office where he could rest, and so he did until he heard a small commotion. When he came out, he could see that the warehouse doors had been knocked down. His cronies were surrounded by armed men, and a luxurious black car pulled up. A brown-haired man in a suit stepped out and surveyed the scene with a certain distaste. Neal could already guess who it was; the whole scene was the typical entrance of the all-powerful mobster. He let out a sigh and went down to where everyone was.

"Didn't anyone ever teach you to knock?"

Without further ado, he stepped in front of his henchmen, who looked nervous.

"The door fell down on its own. It couldn't handle a little touch."

Neal pursed his lips. How he would like to hit the brown-haired man, but he'd probably end up as a strainer if he did.

"Sorry I can't afford a steel door."

"Neal Taylor, I've come for you… Come on, get in the car."

"Easy there, I know I saved your life, but that doesn't mean you own me. I mean, you're my type, but I'm not that easy, honey. A date first, at least."

The raven-haired man winks, causing everyone to be paralyzed by such audacity, while the brown-haired man looked quite irritated.
