Meisya loves her older sister very much. Seeing Mirna being insulted and berated by her in-laws, she felt a sense of unease and shared the sadness that Mirna felt.

"Where are you going, Sya?" Mirna looked back at her sister with concern.
From the depths of her heart, Mirna was extremely unwilling to see Meisya leave her home pregnant and without a husband like this. Meisya was the only family Mirna had. If her sister left, her life would never be calm.
"Good, it's better for you to leave! You're just a parasite who's only a burden to Rendy. Now, you're even sullying our reputation, shameless!" Rendy's mother responded, increasingly derisive towards Meisya.
The woman seemed to hold a grudge against Meisya due to the death of her and Mirna's parents, leaving behind many debts that Rendy's family had to bear.
"I have graduated, Sis. I plan to take a sewing course in the neighboring city. Yes, while I'm looking for a job there as well," Meisya said, choosing to answer her sister's question rather than respond to Mama Rendy's ramblings.
"Why does it have to be in the neighboring city? Why not here?" Rendy piped in.
Meisya tried to explain to Rendy and Mirna that she had already sent her registration letter there because the fees were cheaper. Meisya also explained that she already had plans to apply for a job to learn to live independently.
Although with a heavy heart, Mirna finally agreed to her sister's wish to leave the next day. Mirna's mother-in-law smirked triumphantly after successfully getting rid of Meisya from her son's house. Meanwhile, Rendy secretly gave Meisya some money as capital to survive.
In the morning, Meisya went to school to pick up her diploma. She came to the school for the last time.
Every corner of the school seemed to remind her of Ello, who couldn't come to school to pick up the graduation certificate. Every place held memories. Although Ello and Meisya had only officially been dating for a year, Ello had been pursuing Meisya since they first met during student orientation. So, their relationship had been going on for quite a while.
The shadows of their past together in every corner of the school made Meisya smile sadly. Ello's efforts to become her boyfriend were not in vain. It was not an easy task for Ello to win Meisya's love and attention. The man even went as far as approaching Meisya's friends to seek support. Countless times, Ello bribed Meisya's friends to be able to take her away after school.
Now, just because of one mistake, their relationship was shattered. Ello still went after his dreams, while Meisya had to endure the harshness of life alone.
All those memories would only leave wounds that Meisya had to bury in order to move on and have a better life with her child.
"Sya!"
The familiar sound of a calling voice made Meisya turn towards its source. A beautiful girl who was Meisya's close friend walked briskly, almost running, towards her.
"Gisela!" Meisya exclaimed with a wide smile. This was the first time Meisya smiled after realizing that she was pregnant with Ello's child.
"Miss you so much, and we only meet today. It's so hard to hang out with you!" Gisela pouted but tightly hugged Meisya's arm.
This made Meisya laugh at her friend's annoyed yet affectionate behavior. "Well, aren't you busy preparing for college?" she replied, then invited Gisela to continue walking towards the designated room for the diploma distribution.
"To be honest, I'm not in the mood for college. But, you know, my parents force me to study medicine," Gisela answered with a sulky face. "Oh, by the way, Sya. Ello asked about you. He said you broke up. You didn't reply to his messages, why?"
