Anshuman Breaks Up

"So, Then, Is there something you have been meaning to tell Aadita about for a while, some secret she doesn't know of?" Diya asked.

'Come on! Anshuman, Say it!' Diya repeated in mind.

"Yes! Aadita, I have something to tell you." Anshuman said.

"What is it?" Aadita asked.

"I don't want to date you anymore! I am going to be together with Diya now." Anshuman said.

There was a deep silence in the surrounding suddenly, Everyone went quiet. It was unexpected for Aadita and also for all of the people present there.

"What the hell Anshuman? Why would you do this?" Tanisha asked him.

"I actually hooked up with Diya last weekend, And then I realised that I don't like you that way anymore so, Let's just end things here." Anshuman said.

"You cheated on her?" Krish asked surprised.

"Despite the fact that you two have been dating each other since middle school?" Tanisha asked too.

"Oh Come On! It's not like they were bound to love each other for forever. Anyone can fall out of love with someone." Diya said irritated.

"I'm sure you would have done something here, I don't think Anshuman would ever dump her like that!" Tanisha said.

"Really? Anshuman loves me now! Not your little Aadita. So, just stay away from bashing us!" Diya said.

"You..." Tanisha was about to reply back when Aadita held her hand, "Leave it, Tanisha. Anshuman doesn't love me anymore. It's no use fighting her now, Since Anshuman has already fallen out of love with me." Aadita said and got up to leave a little away from the bonfire.

"Thank god she got that right!" Diya rolled her eyes.

Anshuman was disgusted, He got up and walked away from the bonfire too but, in an opposite direction to where Aadita went.

Diya got up and followed him because as of there, no one was in the favor of what she had done.

"Why do you have to do this? I was talking to her, then what was the need to make it all seem so dramatic?" Anshuman asked as soon as they were far from those three to hear them.

"Why does it matter how I tell? We had to tell her about us right? Don't tell me your heart still carries her name?" Diya said

Anshuman went quite for some seconds

Diya scoffed at his silence like that, "seriously? you still have feelings for her?"

"Does it matter? I am your boyfriend now, and have broke up with Aadita." Anshuman said. "I'm heading home, this party is dead thanks to you and it's late now too." Anshuman left from there

'This party maybe dead Anshuman, but I'm not done with Aadita yet' Diya mumbled getting back to the place.

"Hey? You okay?" Krish and Tanisha approached her as she was at the dead end of the cliff staring down the hills.

"Yeah!" Aadita smiled, "I'm fine, it's just a lot to take in for me.. I just need some time alone, hope you won't mind." Aadita said and moved her eyes back at staring the valley.
