His embrace was returned, and for nearly a minute, I lost myself in his warmth, only feeling his breath and the steady beat of his heart, which calmed me.
Adriel: come on, little one, so you can shower. Don't get me wrong; you smell amazing, but last night you fought with vampires, and I could only clean the parts of your body that I didn’t feel were too inappropriate, and I put you in pajamas. So you must be dirty and have blood stuck on you from them, so let's go.
