Chase and Arabella, get home from 30 minute car journey as they are leaving again to see chases Mother, they both rush in to get something to eat, and then quickly leave.

“ this day has gone so slowly not that I’m complaining Though rematch other again after seven years, and we have gone on two adventures”

“ yeah it feels like we’re back in high school” chase answers

“ you’re right it does feel like we’re back in high school and I’m not complaining at all”

Arabella starts to blush “ okay let’s hurry up we don’t want to get to my mom when it gets dark she worries too much“

“ yeah you’re right let’s go now” Arabella replied

After a hour and a half car ride, they finally make their way to chase is Mother’s home. They haven’t told her that they will come in so she’s going to be surprised.

Chase gets out the car and goes around to open Arabella’s door for her “ wow that is very gentleman bike of you“ Arabella jokingly says

“ of course anything for you“ chase confidently, says as he opened the door for Arabella

They both woke up to chase his mothers door and rings the doorbell. Have a Bella looks at Chase, and he looks really nervous.

“ hey why are you nervous?“

“ to be completely honest with you ever Bella, not only I’m bringing you home because she hasn’t seen you in years. I also have not talked to her in seven years” chase whispers

“ are you serious? I know she’s going to be very happy when she sees you.“

Footsteps run towards the door , the door start to open, and before it opens completely Chase is Mother’s head pops through.

“ chase is that you my son, oh my God you visited you you’ve come to visit, but who is that girl behind you?”

“ Hi mum, I missed you and I’m sorry for not visiting soon enough, but this is Arabella black, remember my ex-girlfriend of three years and the girl who I was friends with since I was five”

“ oh dear, I’m so sorry you look so different Arabella come in come in. Sorry for making you wait outside in the cold“

“ so what brings you to hear at this time?, chase, do you know what time it is it is literally 10 pm. You have taken a woman out at 10 pm. It is dark”

“ mom come on let’s not do this right now and she’s big now so I think she would be okay” chase says with an embarrassed look on his face.

“ don’t worry Mother I am okay I wanted to see you and I know he hasn’t seen you in awhile so we thought we would go together”

Chase looks shorts and whispers to Arabella “Mother? Why do you call her Mother?”

Arabella replies “ it’s something we say in Japan to our partners mum, it’s either Mother or auntie“

Chase doesn’t get time to talk He shocked the word partner is filling his entire head. That is all you can think about. “ wait, so you said that’s what the partner in a relationship says to the Mother so why did you say it to mine” he whispers.

“ I mean at some point we were dating and from how we have communicated today and we just saw each other after 8 years I’m pretty sure the feelings are still mutual”

“Wait, so that means you still have feelings for me ”

Arabella gives him a death stare. But in her head, she is confused on why she told him all of that about the Japanese culture, because if he didn’t know, it wouldn’t be such a big deal.

“ bro, do you really want me to spell it out for you? Yes I do, but I’m not going to do anything about it right now“

“ then I won’t do anything about it well for now that could mean tomorrow… we’re going on a date night rekindle our relationship” chase said confidently as he walked off

“ are you not going to let me answ- ugh never mind, there probably wasn’t an option to say no anyway”

Arabella starts to blush thinking back today she met up with her ex from high school she went to visit her parents with him and she is now at his mothers house that she has not seen in seven years and on top of that he invited her out on the date that she has to attend.

“ I never thought I would be able to find love again especially with the person who was my first love“ Arabella says.

“ hey dear do you want some tea“ Chases mum asks Arabella with a soft voice. “ a tea would be nice if it’s not a big deal “ Arabella replies.

“ okay so while I make your tea you should go sit down next to Chase, I bet you guys have a lot to catch up on even though you guys that went on a long adventure today”

“Wait how does she know I bet Tracy told her he’s always been close with his mum when it comes to secrets and his personal life”

Arabella walks towards the chest and sits next to him chase notices and slyly put his hand around her.

“ hey I’m sorry for bringing this visit up on you so suddenly I know that we’ve only just come back together“

“ honestly don’t worry about it I’m glad I’m doing this with you than being at home depressed“ Arabella sincerely replies.

Chases mum comes back with Arabella’s tea as she gives Arabella the tea, she sits beside her and says “ so are you guys back together? It’s great to see you I missed having you around”
