First meeting with the doom brothers

As the car moved forward, Abigail's heart beat faster. She was well aware that she was gonna die once again and there was no way out. Although terrified, she had something most people would thrive to have, " Hope, I have hope. I will not ever let my life end like before this time. I WILL LIVE! " She said.

" Aby, darling, are you talking to yourself again? " said Amelia.

" No, why would I? " Aby said, sarcastically. She absolutely hated the idea of having annoying little kids around her and Amelia was exactly that type. 2 hours had passed on her journey and the redhead chatterbox had not shut her mouth even once. She would either be annoying Aby, not even letting her have 2 minutes of self-time or she would be arguing with Yong about crazy topics.

" Hey Aby, did you know that legend says that the face of the person you have now is actually the face of the person you loved and adored in your past life? "

The words Amelia said made Abigail go into deep thought. She remembered the time she first brought the game and played it. She didn't quite hate the character of Abigail, she actually pitied her. She thought to herself about what would happen if Abigail had not died, would the end remain the same?

" The face of the person you loved huh? " She said.

At that moment there was a bang, the car hit a tree and its engine started burning!

" Everybody out of the car! " Yong yelled and jumped out of the car.

Abigail and Amelia too wasted no time and ran out of the car. Shortly after the car exploded. Thankfully the three had stood a bit far from the car so no one ended up hurt. But they all ended up stranded in an unfamiliar area which was surrounded by trees and shrubs. On top of all that it was night!

" Shit! " Yong said.

" Oh my dam God, what the hell! " Amelia screamed.

" Yong, do you not know how to drive? we could have died! " She panicked.

" What do we do now? "

" Amelia calm down will ya! I'm freaked out here too! " Yong screamed.

" Calm down! do you have any idea what happens now? we don't even know where we are, we're stuck in the middle of nowhere! "

" Guys, there's no use of fighting now! we should try to figure a way out now or something or ask someone for help! " Aby screamed.

She was already aware that this was gonna happen. " Guys lets..." Before she could finish her sentence, she hears the footsteps of something, followed by light.

A tall man wearing a hood and holding a lantern was coming towards them.

" OMG, it's a human, we're saved! " Abigail screamed.

" Great, let's ask him for help. " Yong said overjoyed.

Abigail just stared. As the man came closer, he removed his hood and showed the lantern towards his face. He had skin as white as snow, eyes as blue as the sky, hair which resembled the golden fur of a lion and long black eyelashes. He was beautiful in every way possible.

Abigail gazed into his shining blue eyes; it was almost as if she had fallen prey to some spell. She was unable to take her eyes off him. He was too handsome to exist.

Abigail too did not understand what he just said. " I'm sorry we don't speak the language you spoke right now. " She said.

Yong just scoffed and tried to talk to the handsome man.

" I didn't quite catch up on what you said but, I think you said I am dum, and that sky is green. " The handsome man said with a Romanian accent, he almost went into laughter listening to Yong.

Amelia and Abigail too started laughing. Yong's face was red in embarrassment.

" Um, hi my name is Abigail, and these are my friends Yong and Amelia. Well... our car broke down and we have nowhere to stay, could you please help us? " Said Aby.

" Of course, my house is nearby. You three can stay there tonight if you like. Follow me. " He said with a smile.

" Oh, we'd be delighted alright. " Said Amelia and walked forward.

" Thank you so much, we're so sorry for the inconvenience we caused. " Aby said.

" Of course not, helping a pretty lady in trouble is a man's duiety. " He said approaching her.

" Its duty, D-U-T-Y. " Aby said pushing him away.

" Of course, my bad. " He smiled.

Abigail was all red, her heart had skipped a lot of beats. His handsomeness was unavoidable. His eyes were like the gateway for souls to take away.

The four walked towards the handsome man's house. " Erm, I never got your name. " Aby said shyly.

" Ah, sorry, It's Lucian. Lucian Dracul," he replied.

" Lucian Dracul, what a nice name. " That was the moment she realized it all. The person she was with right now was none other than the male lead of the whole dam game. She didn't recognize him at that moment but after hearing his name... She knew her doom was near.

Lucian Dracul, the male lead of the game. He was not taking them to help them but to sacrifice the three to his twin brother Caliban Dracul. SHE WAS DOOMED! everything was going according to the game's storyline, THERE WAS NO ESCAPE!

" We're here! " He said pointing his lantern towards a huge antique mansion.

Abigail looked towards the pointed direction in fear. She was not looking at the mansion but at her grave!

" Wow dude, your house is huge! " Yong said.

" It's not much, hope you'll enjoy your stay. " Lucian said with a soft smile.

While others saw a good handsome-looking man who offered to help them, Abigail saw an evil devil with a murderous smile.

" Please come in. " He said, " Make yourselves at home. "

Aby swallowed her saliva. The three of them entered his house. It was all dark.

" I'm sorry there was a power cut in our house, so the lights won't come any soon, " "Please wait here I'll bring lanterns for you guys. " Saying this Lucian went to bring the lanterns. "

" Wow he's such a great guy, he's letting us stay at his house. " Yong said.

" Yea, and he's handsome too! " Said Amelia.

" Yea sure, he looks alright. " Yong scoffed.

" He looks a hundred times better than you 'prost' " she joked.

" What'd you just say? " Yong said angrily.

" Guys we should get out of here. " Abigail said. Her hands were shivering thinking about what was going to happen in the future. Her body was all cold.

" What are you talking about Aby? why do you wanna get out of here? " Yong asked.

" Yea, why? " Amelia asked.

"Well, the thing is..." Abigail's sentence was stopped by the incoming footsteps and light.

" I've got the lanterns! " Lucian yelled.

Yong and Amelia took the lanterns and followed Lucian; Abigail stayed back.

"What's wrong Amelia? follow me I'll show you to your room. " Lucian said with a smile. Although a bit hesitant, she still followed him.

Lucian showed Amelia and Yong to their rooms and now it was Abigail's turn. As they walked in the hall, Abigail's heartbeat rose higher and higher, not in love but FEAR. She was so scared that she didn't even realize her room had come.

" You're going to be sleeping here tonight, Miss Abigail. " He said with a smile.

Abigail nodded. Lucian came closer to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. He bent his head towards her ears and whispered in his attractive manly voice.

" Have a good night, hope you see beautiful dreams. " He said.

Abigail's heartbeat rose a hundred times higher than before. His voice was too attractive. Her face was so red that people would think someone painted her face with paint. That voice was too much for her to handle.

Lucian kissed Aby's cheek and went out of the room. Aby kneeled on the ground; it was too much for her to handle.

" Ah man, I know he is the reason I'm gonna die but he is too handsome! " She said.

Abigail jumped onto the bed and laid on her stomach. She turned over a few times. The fact that she was going to die again kept haunting her mind, on top of that Lucian's kiss on the cheek was also disturbing her mind.

" Oh God, seriously what have I done wrong to you? " She said.

" If I remember correctly, Lucian is human and the male lead and his twin brother Caliban is a blood drinking monster and the villain. So Lucian loved his brother very much and used to help him all the time, he would bring strangers who lost their way to his house and feed them to Lucian, but how does he do that? Anyway, I'm the first to die so I guess this doesn't matter. " As Abigail was recovering her memory of the game from her past life, she hears someone talking outside. Curious Aby decides to listen to the conversation.

She slowly opened the door and found no one, but to her surprise the voice was still audible. In her curiosity she decided to follow the voice. After walking a little distance, she found herself in the basement.

As she walked further in the basement the voice stopped. She was quite surprised but as she thought of going back, she felt something hard hit her head. Before she could see the persons face, she lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

A few moments later she opened her eyes listening to a conversion. One of the voices felt quite familiar, it was Lucians. The other voice was a bit more deeper and a bit scary, she for sure knew that it was Caliban. As she peeped a bit at them she saw a man with long hair which was as black as a crow's, his eyes as red as blood, his face as white as snow, his long eyelashes as black as burnt coal. He was the total opposite of his brother but somehow, he didn't seem evil.

Abigail's heartbeat was faster than ever as she saw him, she didn't understand why but she couldn't help but blush.

" Your dinners ready, have it quick before it wakes. " Said Lucian.

This freaked Aby out. She was aware that this scene would come but she didn't expect it to come this quick. She knew that it was either do or die. She quickly got up and without turning around made a run, leaving the two brothers in shock.

" Hmm, she's quite an interesting woman isn't she. " Lucian said smiling.

" You knew she was awake, didn't you? " Said Caliban with a neutral face.

" My my, who knows, I do wonder though, I didn't expect her to run this fast..." Lucian smiled.

" She didn't fall for your charms spell, brother. " Caliban said.

"That's why she's interesting, don't you think so too. " Lucian said. Soon his smile faded, and he walked out of the basement, but his eyes were not blue, it was red.

Suddenly there were hundreds of bats surrounding him and he disappeared into thin air.
