The start

It was a rainy day.

I didn't expect to go from reading my fantasy books like I do every day to being in a real fantasy world for almost six months.

Hi, my name is Billy North, but everyone calls me Bee I am 14 years old and live in California And this is my story of how I became a witch.

At school, things are not really going as they should, I would say I came to the principal's office three times in the last year and you can say that everyone knows me but not in a good way, they know me as the weird freak of the school. Well, I go through every day as usual, except that this day was not so usual. I finished school with a warning from the principal today and when I got home I went into the room and came to read one of my favorite fantasy books but it was gone. I looked out the window and saw a strange bird stealing it from my room.

I chased her as hard as I could until she came to some kind of strange door so of course I followed her in but I didn't know I would end up in a demon world.

At first when I opened my eyes I found myself in a strange tent and if I thought I had strange things then wow listen the things in the tent were much stranger than I could have imagined, voodoo dolls and all kinds of dolls with different body parts let's say a doll mother of a human head penguin legs and a dragon's tail.

Except for this crazy tent everything seemed normal I turned around to see where I was , and then I saw a woman on her way to burn my book, so I grabbed it from her, I shouted "Thank you for finding the book" And I started to run but after a few moments she caught me.

As soon as the woman caught me the first thing I said was "If you're going to eat me, do it fast."

I don't know why I said that, after all she is human not some kind of monster or at least that's what I thought.

We continued our conversation with her saying "why would I eat a potential buyer".

She started showing me some of her products, for example she asked if I wanted a TV and called her a black box that only reflects sadness, so I laughed and showed her what she was really doing.

I took two batteries she had on the table and put them into the TV and at that moment people gathered around her stand following the noise of the music the TV made and started offering prices. I will pay sixty snails for the music box one said I will pay a hundred snails said another man. I can eat the little man inside asked another person.

At this time the only thing that came to my mind is why does everyone want to pay in snails?

And why are they all dressed like creatures that look like they came out of some fantasy book? What do they have some weird festival in this town?

That's what I thought until the people gathered around the booth left and the strange woman said "Thank you human" I started laughing and said it's a strange thing for a human to say to a human. Then she took the scarf off her head and said oh I'm not human like you. She had pointy ears and gray hair and she introduced herself saying I am Lydia the most powerful witch in the enchanted land.
