"I just can't seem to get enough money for the rent…" Leon sighed...

the blonde thought to himself as he heard laughter in the other room. He didn't know how to tell his sister, he was worried he was going to get kicked out since he hasn't paid his rent for two months now, how was he going to take care of her?

He could ask a friend if he could borrow money but he was too embarrassed and his only friend was Julia, she was friends with him ever since he was in the orphanage that's where he met her.

The ladies in the orphanage always told Leon and his sister that their parents died, but Leon and Julia doesn't think that was true so he vowed to find his parents but now he has too much to deal with such as rent, work, school and so on...

"Big brother Can we play a game!!" Ronnie said as she ran up to her older brother excitedly hoping he'd say yes.

"Oh... sorry Ronnie but you have school

tomorrow you need to go to sleep"

Leon said quickly as he whipped his tears so his sister wouldn't see them.

"But you promised you'd play with me yesterday…"

Ronnie could feel herself about to cry knowing her brother always breaks his promises and never has time for her.

"Ronnie look I'm sorry bu-"

"it's alright, I'm probably bothering you anyway…"

Leon could feel the guilt burning inside himself as he heard those words coming from his sister's mouth. Leon thought for a second and an idea popped up in his head which he knew would make his sister happy

"How about we go to the mall tomorrow after school, and get you ice cream and some new clothes?" Leon hoped those words would make his sister feel better.

"Really!" Ronnie said as she jumped up excitedly happy with what her brother just said: "Pinky promise me, please!!" Ronnie said as she ran up to her brother again and took her pinky out

"I promise…"

The day after that Julia came to pick up Ronnie and drove her to school, it was a daily thing and Ronnie always had fun talking to her brother's best friend as she drove her to school. Whilst that happened Leon was getting changed and headed to work, tho he felt tired he still managed it.

Leon soon arrived at his workplace and saw that his boss was already clearing the tables.

(Leon wore a brown cardigan over his work uniform with a milky brown tie)

"Oh, Leon you've arrived!" Leon's

boss spoke as she wiped the last table.

"Well don't just stand there dear, the café opens in sixteen minutes!" she exclaimed as she handed Leon his hat.

"Alright, auntie!"

Leon calls his boss Auntie since she was one of the people who had helped him through his tough times, and she always looked out for him since he's been working in the café for two years she always treated Leon as her own and always looked out for him.
