Chapter 3

Hoseok woke up from his not so comfortable sleep when his alarm turns off.

He took a deep breath and stood up going to look at himself in the mirror .....staring.

Sighed then tried to smile wandering just how much it looks real. Surprised himself that it still looks pretty real. And so deciding to take a bath he dragged his feet slowly taking his time with every single thing he did. Fingers traced everything they touched, eyes looking at every thing longingly. He remade his bed and smiled when his room was all good. He left and didn't give a second thought about breakfast. Skipping breakfast and meals was totally normal for him by now.

Going straight to his schedule for the day he made a mental note to manage time and do a Vlive since it's been long and he wouldn't want to just leave without a good birthday live now that's the least he could give as a heads up.

He merged into the day as if nothing was wrong, as if he wasn't broken inside as if he didn't made a deal with the man of his life, as if he wasn't afraid for today being the last time to receive wishes. He pretended and smiled and encouraged anyone whom would need the said encouragement.

But he would pull away from every hug very soon not trusting himself that if the hug lasted too long he'll start to cry no matter whom the shoulder belonged to.

Easy right? no one will know, nothing will go wrong.

Spends time with band mates spends time with friends talking just softly enough to make it look okay because talking with that brightness that once he used to have might be too difficult from him now. You'll be asking too much from him.

He was sitting on his desk deep in thoughts when someone comes in disturbing him.

"Hob-ah"

Hoseok was a little surprised to see Yoongi there in his studio when the man hardly changes his way always going straight to his own studio.

"O did you wanted something? You could have just-"

Hoseok stops in the middle of his sentence

"Stop it hob-ah, we both know what you are going through and it hurts more to see you always trying to hide and deny it in front of us." Yoongi said taking a seat on the couch.

"I- what? Yoongi hyung, you know I don't usually hide things." He played dumb but Yoongi wasn't of course buying it.

"Unless you do when it's about you." Yoongi states.

"I know it might seem like it and it's not like I might be the only effected by what's going on but I assure you that I have faith in him."

"I always do."

He thought.

Silence fell upon them and Yoongi stared at him making him squirm in his chair.

"You trust him I know but I also know what kind of thoughts you have for yourself. I've known you for too long hob-ah, and I'm here because I know whatever you have on your mind it's all bullshit and trust me you won't regret waiting a little-"

"Don't tell me that you think I've given up on him." Hoseok snaps voice low protected by barrier lacking any kind of warmth.

"I wasn't saying that- " Yoongi tried to continue.

"We both know what you think and let me tell you one thing Hyung you're not right, not this time, not like always." Hoseok interrupts

"I'm not saying that I'm right or wrong that's not the point here. What I'm saying is that you don't have to pretend- "

"I'm not pretending anything i don't have anything to pretend for okay? Now if This is the only thing you're here to talk about then I think you should leave." Hoseok stood up hastily collecting his own stuff showing as if he was busy.

"Fine...... By the way Happy birthday." Yoongi said leaving not looking back at Hoseok.

Hoseok sighed and plopped down on his chair again.

Birthday.

He started the Vlive and as always it went with same questions, answers and assuring.

And the day went by faster then he'd expect it to be so. And soon he was standing outside the same blue-white door.
