Prologue & Beginning

I am Chantal Clovis.

I am famous for being beautiful, intelligent, and rich.

I am a silent person.

I don't like trouble.

I believe in less talk, less trouble that's why I rarely talk, even smile with those people around me.

I can't be involve in any trouble because I'm afraid that if I get angry.

They might die.

I can't be angry.

I can't control myself, more especially, I can't control my powers.

I have powers.

Powers that could send my enemies to HELL.

Because I am the Princess of Hell.

I am the one and only Devil Princess.

I have a hobby and that is collecting slaves. Slaves that are willing to serve and die for me.

Then I met this guy,

Yohan Hares.

An irritating normal guy. There's no special thing about him. He is just annoyingly stupid.

But as I get to know him more, I found out that he is full of innocence and has a pure heart.

I became very much interested in him.

I want him to be my slave.

20 years ago.

A baby's shrill cry broke the silence in the middle of the night.

"It's a boy! Your child is a prince, Your Highness!" - the physician happily said.

"You're right Salena! He is a handsome prince. The future heir of our kingdom!" - I happily said to the physician, assistants, and soldiers inside that room.

"We must celebrate it Your Majesty!" - Menandro said. He is the captain of my soldiers and also my best friend.

"Yes Menandro, I will first spend a week to completely improve the condition of the Queen and the Prince and after that we will hold a big feast to celebrate the arrival of the next King of our kingdom!" - I answered him while looking at my queen who was sleeping soundly with the newborn Prince next to her.

"Thank you very much everyone. You may now return to your resting places." - I said while smiling to the servants of the palace.

"You too Menandro. You can rest and go home. I know your wife will give birth soon, you need to watch over her and take care of her." - I said to Menandro.

"But Your Majesty, I am your soldier. I cannot leave you!" - said Menandro objecting.

"Friend, I will call you when I need you. After seeing the suffering of my beloved queen while she was giving birth, I can say that your wife needs you now, so go ahead and just go back on the day of our celebration." - I said while patting my best friend on the shoulder.

"Thank you very much for your good will, Your Majesty. I will go first." - Menandro said his goodbyes with a smile.

"Alright. Be careful my friend." - I said goodbye to him as well.

After the soldiers and servants left, I immediately approached the Queen and the Prince. I smiled even more when I saw my wife open her eyes and my son smile at the same time.

"Thank you so much for your very special gift, my dear Queen." - I lovingly said to the just-awakened Queen who immediately smiled.

"It's nothing my love. As long as it's for you and our son. I can do anything." - the queen said while looking at our son tenderly.

I approached her as well as our son and immediately hugged them.

One week later.

A big celebration is being held in the palace when suddenly there is a disturbance and a series of explosions are heard outside the kingdom.

The devil soldiers immediately prepared as well as the devils who were in that celebration.

The Devil king immediately approached his queen and prince to protect them.

"What commotion is going on outside the palace?!" - I loudly asked the devils inside the hall.

"We don't know either, Dear King! Forgive us!" - they answered.

Multiple explosions were heard as well as shouts from outside the palace. The remaining devils in the hall began to panic and riot. They started to run away in every exit they see.

Suddenly, the door of the hall opened and immediately two wounded soldiers entered there, one dying and one with a serious wound in the body that was causing his blood to run out.

"Your Majesty, please forgive us. We failed to defend the kingdom from a traitor. Please forgive us!!" - cried the soldier to me.

"Who's the traitor? What are you talking about soldier?!" - I asked them in confusion.

"MENANDRO, dear king, the captain of your soldiers has betrayed and attacked our kingdom! He is killing your loyal soldiers!" - they answered angrily.

"I can't believe it! Menandro wouldn't do that!" - I said angrily.

My bestfriend can't do that to me. I looked at the two soldiers and saw that they were already both lifeless. I shook my head. What if what they said was true?! I stopped thinking when I heard another explosion. I looked at the broken door of the hall and was surprised to see someone I know enter there.

No! It can't be!

"Menandro! Why are you doing this?!" - I said angrily as I hugged my mother and daughter.

"Forgive me Dear King but I must end your life as well as your family. Forgive me!" - he said staring at me sadly.

He immediately rushed towards me but my soldiers stopped him.

"Protect the King, as well as the Queen and the Prince!" - the devils around us shouted in unison.

They rush towards Menandro but he just started killing them with his weapon and incredible power.

"Escape with the prince, my dear Queen. Save our son as well as yourself." - I immediately said to the Queen.

"But we can't leave you my love. Come with us!" - the queen said while crying.

"I'm sorry, my love. I can't leave the kingdom in this state. I have to protect it and I know that Menandro doesn't want what he's doing. I believe in him. I just need to talk to him. I'll pick you and our son up right away. You have to run away for now so I can ensure your safety! I'll be there in no time. I promise!" - the king said, smiling even though he was in tears.

"SALENA! Go with the Queen and the Prince. Take care of them until the day I come to get them back to the kingdom!" - I ordered the palace physician.

"I will follow your orders, Dear King! Come dear queen. We have to leave. I'll make a tunnel portal so we can get out of here." - said Salena who immediately took action to create a portal that would take them out of that place.

The queen started to walk away from me and is already stepping into the tunnel when suddenly...

"No! You can't run away! You have to die!" - said Menandro madly as he released from his hand sharp spears made of air towards the queen. The queen was unable to move because of the extreme speed of events and because she prioritized protecting the prince, the king only saw her lying down while her clothes were full of blood.

The King ran towards the queen who was already on the verge of dying. He took the baby in her arms and gave him to the healer.

"Salena, please take care of the prince. Bring him back here on his twenty-first birthday. He will remember the things that happened on this day and he will take revenge for what happened to us. He will return and rule the kingdom again because he is the strongest and most powerful prince who will live according to the prophecy. He is the only one who is uniquely qualified to lead all of our subjects!" - said the king in tears while hugging his queen who was about to pass away.

He took the queen's hand and they placed their palms on the baby's chest. The baby glowed due to the overwhelming power transferred to it.

"Salena, you need to go. Take good care of my son. Thank you very much!" - said the King before looking at the queen who was completely out of breath.

"Forgive me my queen, as well as you my child. I wasn't able to protect the both of you. Forgive me. Goodbye my little prince." - the King said in tears as he looked at the portal that completely closed after the physician and the Prince entered.

He looked at Menandro who was talking to himself like a madman.

"We are not done yet, Menandro. I will come back again to make you pay for what you did to my kingdom, especially to my family! You and your family will suffer for the treachery you showed today. I will come back with the prince to pay what you owe us!!" - the King said furiously and whispered words that only he could hear and suddenly disappeared like a bubble.
