She saved him that day

The haat day it is and rush was so much expected. It seems everyone is shouting- shopkeeper to call customers and customers going and chattering for better deals. The mini stalls setup in corners are having good business too. While some serve chaat, Pani puri, burgers, momos etc there are places to quench the thirst too. And if you now want to have your meal peacefully after completing the works, there are few restaurants too.

It is the mini shop where this girl is roaming. They sell dupattas of all sorts here in all colours, you just need to be patient to get the best one for yourself. She has been walking rounds since an hour and still didn't get anything to her taste.

The assistants come and ask her what she needed actually. She politely refuses saying she will be finding it herself, so they left. She touches those dupattas, some she puts on herself too but none she keeps for herself. After sometime, she decides to leave. The shopkeeper then tells her to visit again, they promise to fulfil her choice next time. It was just then she rushes in again.

She walks to the left corner the other side and among those wrapped stocks, pulls out one dupatta. It was a multicolored one with the mirror tassels. She put it on herself and did a round turn. It had a shining on it too with the colors reflecting different in sunlight. She gently caress it again and after feeling satisfied, tells the shopkeeper to wrap it for her.

The shopkeeper tells him that these stocks were hotcake that time and she certainly has great choice picking it. He asks if there is some function to attend. She smiles and tells that there is one to be, but yet not planned. She then goes out happy.

The girl then goes out in her scooty. She saw a guy signalling her to stop while she was riding. Though she didn't want to but she did as to see what that was about. The guy asked for a lift.

"Hey, is that why you signalled me to stop? Why don't you just book a cab or something for you?" she asked.

"My phone is off and no one is stopping... Please please just this time, it would be great favour."

"How about I book one for you? Anyways, why should I be giving lift to some random guy I met on road??"

"I lost my wallet and I really don't know how to go back well. Plus I'm already going to be late for my job interview. (stressed)

It was god's kindness that you stopped for me. So can you just do one favour, drop me at the next circle. My friend will be there, I'll ask him help and won't be troubling you more." he said.

"Oh, so you'll go to that friend and again continue to be stressed for the money and already the job interview sword is hanging on your head?"

He didn't say anything but his expression must have meant that he was helpless so he will accept it just the way it is.

The girl then said, "Hop on, I'll drop you to your interview place first. Get it done first and then you can return to your friend's place, manage it whatever it is. Okay?"

He was more than happy and then he joined her on her scooty and together they went off.

Luckily the guy was just on time for his interview. When he came out after finishing, he saw that girl still sitting at the same spot. He went to her and asked why she hadn't left yet. "Were you going to ask another someone for help again? Of course I'm here to take you back to your friend." she replied.

(Am I really this lucky today? Hey god, are you smiling on me??, the guy thought)

"Thank you so much for this." he smiled.

While on the ride, she asks him what voices he can make. When he said he didn't understand what she wanted to ask, she told him that she knows it was the interview for voiceover artists. The guy nodded and then said he could make many animal sounds and liked doing for cartoon series. He then asked her what kind of shows she would watch and he would try those voices for her someday. While he did some then itself but she had to wait for more as they had already reached.

The girl was then leaving when he came running again. "What is it?" she asked.

"Oh, you didn't tell me your name nor any way to contact you. Give me some details at least so that I can reach to you again."

She takes out one paper and gives to him after scribbling something on it. She smiled and then left off. He kept looking that way even after she had disappeared.

Another guy came and tapped on his shoulder, "Oi Ishaan, what are you looking there for? She has already disappeared." he then laughed.

Ishaan turns back and smiles awkwardly. He then goes with his friend, Daksh. He had been telling all the incidents happened today. Daksh then asks, "Then how did you thank her? Don't tell me you didn't do anything, see the Goddess came to save you herself."

"Hmm, I'll properly thank her soon." Ishaan said.

"By the way, what is the name of that girl?" Daksh gets curious.

Ishaan smiles looking at the paper again and replies, "Luna."
