"Bastard! You're embarrassing me! What fun?!" Jianyu shouted angrily. Qingyuan grinned. "This is a fun punishment for you. Aren't you very fond of doing it to your mistresses? Slice every inch of their bodies and bandage the wounds and then apologize to them?" Qingyuan sneered.

"You really are interesting. If I can live or I am reborn. Then I will chase you and make you mine!" Jianyu said happily. "Not even in your dreams will happen." Qingyuan said coldly before in an imperceptible speed Jianyu's neck was severed from his body.

"I used too much force." said Qingyuan start feeling dizzy and about to collapse. The door opened before Qingyuan fell. Someone held his body. Qingyuan stared with hazy eyes.

"A Ying? Is that you?" Qingyuan asked not seeing clearly. "You can't use your martial arts if you forget!" angry Lanying annoyed. Qingyuan smiled sweetly before spitting out fresh blood.

Lanying panicked and picked up Qingyuan to take him to the physician. Qingyuan gripped Lanying's clothes. "There is no point." Qingyuan said smiling. "Lanying, if there is rebirth then I don't want to see you again. I don't want us to end up like this again." Qingyuan said as his eyes started to close.

"Bullshit! You're going to live so stop saying stupid things." Lanying said annoyed. Qingyuan's hand touched Lanying's right cheek. "Live well even without me." Qingyuan said before his eyes closed and his hands drooped.

°DREAM MODE OFF°

Qingyuan woke up from his nightmare. His body was covered in cold sweat pouring out. Qingyuan woke up and didn't feel like sleeping anymore. Qingyuan got up from his bed and looked at Haoran who was still asleep before picking up his jacket and coming out. Qingyuan ran on the sports field until 6am before returning to his and Haoran's room.

Qingyuan went to take a shower and ate the breakfast he bought on the way back to their room. Haoran woke up at that time. "You're neat." muttered Haoran. "You're not going to a meeting in your clothes are you?" asked Haoran surprised.

"For God's sake, you're going to an office meeting so dress more formally." haoran grumbled. "Noisy, go take a shower. You stink." Said Qingyuan so Haoran go take a bath.

Haoran sighed but complied. Haoran took the clothes and went to take a shower. By the time Haoran finished, Qingyuan was already concentrating on his tablet. "News?" asked Haoran. "No, Bingwen told me that the model he chose will come to meet me at the university today during lunch time, Minzhe will bring him along..." Qingyuan explained.

"Are you sure? You know you can do it yourself. After all, you're also a model." said Haoran unsure of this. "Bingwen wouldn't introduce someone bad. Don't worry, we'll just have a first look anyway." said Qingyuan before taking his eyes off his tablet and looking at Haoran.

"Who is this guy in front of me? So handsome. Can I have your number, handsome?" Qingyuan teased smiling. "Tch, you scumbag." said Haoran annoyed. Qingyuan laughed happily. "Eat your breakfast, then off we go." Qingyuan said getting up from his seat. Qingyuan put his laptop, tablet and some files in his bag.

"You're going straight to university after work?" asked Haoran surprised to see Qingyuan carrying a briefcase he had just tidied up as well as a backpack filled with school supplies. "Of course, why should I go back to the dorm?" Qingyuan asked confused. Haoran stared at Qingyuan in disbelief. 'No wonder he wears clothes like that.' thought Haoran understood.

The two of them then went together to Light Technology together. Occasionally Bingwen teased them as a long-married couple. Qingyuan seemed indifferent to the temptation.

---Light Technology---

The office atmosphere is quite lively with employees coming to work. "Director, good morning." said the female employees to Haoran. "Morning." Haoran said kindly. The female employees look happy.

@CEO's office

Qingyuan looked at his friend who was also the director of Finance Department, Zhou Huizhong smiled. "You've come?" Qingyuan asked smiling. "You've been CEO for quite a while and no one knows. They only consider you a friend of Haoran. Are you comfortable with that?" Huizhong asked seriously.

"I don't care. As long as my company can continue to grow. Other people know it's me or not doesn't matter." Qingyuan said indifferently. Qingyuan and Haoran were already sitting on the sofa.

"That's because of all the fuss and announcements. You leave it to my department. You lazy bastard!" grumbled Xiao Haoyu who went inside. Qingyuan smiled sweetly.

"Therefore, without you I can't live, my sweet Haoyu." Qingyuan teased happily. "Tch, lazy." Haoyu grumbled. Xiao Haoyu is the Director of Marketing Department.

"Is that stalker still bothering you?" Haoyu asked annoyed. "Every day, let it be. I just need to hold on for another year or half a year." Qingyuan said indifferently. "Are you sure you're okay?" Huizhong asked, starting to worry. Qingyuan nodded.

"Qingyuan will be fine." Bingwen said coming in. Luo Bingwen, Director of HR & Administration looked at Qingyuan seriously. "I told you to look at him first." Qingyuan said indifferently.

"I had a really hard time finding it for you. I'll beat you up if you refuse." Bingwen grumbled irritably. "You want to argue with me all the time or do you want a meeting?" Qingyuan asked seriously. "Let's begin." Bingwen said sullenly.

The meeting went well and Qingyuan decided to head back first. Bingwen, Haoran, Haoyu and Huizhong went to their respective departments to assign tasks to their employees.

On the way home, Qingyuan met Lin Minzhe, a 3D artist working under Lu Haoran. "Come turn in your assignment?" Qingyuan asked. "Yes, CEO Zhang. CEO Zhang, I guarantee that person can bring you benefits so accept him." Haoran said before leaving. Qingyuan was startled before continuing on his way.

---Su family residence---

"Lanying, if you want to be a model at Light Technology. You just tell me, I guarantee you will get it easily without auditioning at all." said Su Haitao seriously. Su Haitao, Lanying's father is also the CEO of Blossom Entertainment.

"Do you know who your opponent is? If you don't know then shut up. The CEO of Light Technology is very mysterious, no one has ever met him even his own employees. Lanying said. "Go." the two said in unison. Both of them glared at each other angrily. Lanying took his bag and left.

Qingyuan was busy with his chores. Qingyuan had finished his lunch and was using the cafeteria table as a place to do his work. "CEO Zhang, I brought the model as Director Luo requested." Minzhe said. "Sit down, you go get your food too Minzhe." Qingyuan said still busy with his task.

"Hello, my name is Su Lanying. Nice to meet you, CEO Zhang." Lanying said seriously. Qingyuan stopped his writing hand and immediately looked at the faces of the people in front of him.

'Cursed fate.' Qingyuan grumbled irritably.
