the emperor got out of the ball room after talking with some individuals soon.

a lady whispered something in my mother's ear and she nodded her head and smiled. My mother tried to give me to someone else, but something inside me was telling if I go away I'll miss something great, therefore every time she tried to give me to someone else I cried desperately.

In the end, my mother took me in her arms carefully and walked behind the lady. after turning in a side again we finally came to halt in front of a door. The lady bowed towards the saintess and announced that she has arrived. when the response in a familiar voice came the lady opend the door and went back.

thanking the lady, my mother went inside. the emperor stood up and closed the door. "sit, Catherine"

"yes your highness", answering my mother sat in the well furnished sofa.

"you came with your daughter", the emperor inquired while holding a small bouquet of flowers in his hands, he marched towards us.

"yes, she doesn't want me to leave her even for a moment", the saintess answered in happiness while her eyes searched for what the emperor was intending to do.

He smiled and laid the flowers in the table and sit beside her, "I see, she must love you a lot", his voice was deep, authoritative yet caring. she slowly opened the bunch of flowers and removed each one thoroughly, smoothing the sides of the branches.

I couldn't comprehend what was happening in front of me. why was the emperor caring for my mother, why is she meeting him here, what is the relationship between them. and suddenly he did something unexpected.
