Y/n and others were just talking to each other about what is she doing in Yokohama and what job she has. Y/n told them about her jobs. That she worked on the mafia once and became a member of the Detective agency. They even laughed at her because of her sudden changes.

While Y/n just secretly took a glance at Draken while they're talking. Manjiro introduced Takemichi to Y/n too as well as his girlfriend, Hinata.

"You see, Mikey. I have a rival, you two have a similarity." Y/n smiled while remembering Chuuya's face.

"Hm? Really?" Mikey looks at her with a curious face. "What's our similarity?"

"Yep! You guys have the same height!" She cheerfully said and they all laugh while Mikey just pouted.

"Oi, Y/n! Stop bullying Mikey." Draken said as if his child got bullied by someone big.

"eh? Baldy-ken are you his mom?" Y/n casually asked with a smile on her face. She's teasing him.

Draken was irked because of what she said. "what's with that shitty nickname?!" he said with annoyance.

Y/n chuckled. "Ohh, then should I call you, Drake?" she playfully grin.

Draken's mouth twitches because of the irritation he felt. "Where the fck did you get that name?"

Y/n hum, "You don't want to? It's a foreign name like Emma though." after what she said Draken became silent. what? She thought.

"I got that name when I was on a mission with my boy friend on the outside of the country." y/n smiled and didn't mind Draken's reaction earlier.

"What?! Y/n you have a boyfriend?!!!" Mikey overreacted because of what she said as well as the others, but the only she noticed is, Draken's reaction didn't even change.

Y/n smiled sadly but in secret. "Yes. As in BOY FRIEND. Not boyfriend. There's a difference between them, Mikey." Y/n rolled her eyes as she fake a laugh.

"Is that so?" Mikey nodded and finally calm down. "You still can't have a boyfriend, okay?! If you have one, he has to defeat me first, so he can prove he's worth it and strong enough to protect you." Mikey 'hmp'.

while Y/n is just smiling at him and suddenly remember how strong Dazai is, that made her laugh.

She shook her head and decide not to mention it because Mikey might throw tantrums.

"How about you, Mikey? Do you already have a girlfriend?" Y/n asked.

Mikey pointed himself. "me? Ehh, I don't have one and I don't plan to have one." Mikey shook his head like a child.

Cute. Now, I miss Ranpo and Kyouka-chan.

"Is that so? How about you, Emma?" she asked, which immediately made Emma blush. "Do you have one?!" Y/n said with a surprised voice.

"N-no!" she said and look away.

"Hehhhh?!" Y/n just nodded and didn't ask any further questions. "How about you, Drake? Do you have someone you like or girlfriend?" y/n smiled bitterly, but just like Emma's reaction, they just looked away. "What's with your reactions?!"

"Y/n, Emma and him went to a festival together last month!" Nahoya said, that made Y/n's smiles fade. While the two's faces turned red

"I-Is that so?" Y/n pretend to be happy. She pretends like it's nothing and she's really happy for them even though it hurts her. That's right she's so good at that. It's her talent after all. For others, it may be not talent, but for her it is. She loves to pretend the most.

"how about you, Y/n? Do you have someone you like?!" Hinata asked with a wide smile.

Y/n laugh. A fake one. "Hm? Someone, I like? I have two people I like!" she said while smiling. "First, that boy from my past, but I don't see him anymore and I can't remember his face nor name, but even though I can't remember anything about him, I know that I still like him." Y/n smiled sadly as she vividly remembers the boy from her past. "The second one was, I met him 5 years ago, but I won't say anything about him. He already has someone he likes... So yeah!" she said cheerfully as if it's nothing.

while inside her she wanted to scream, she wanted to cry, she wanted to ease the pain she felt.

The living room fell into silence, no one wants to speak even Mikey. Not until Nahoya speak.

"Y/n, why do you have bandages?" He's grinning while asking as if nothing happened, which made y/n thankful.

"hm, this? Oh, it's a habit of mine. I got used to it when I met Dazai, my friend. " She smiled while remembering the time they both met. That time was Y/n trying to suicide on the bridge, and coincidentally Dazai was trying to commit suicide too.

That moment was one of the memorable memories she has. After she met Dazai, her life changed. He gave her light that no one else did. He stayed beside her when no one else did. He was there when everyone left her. He comforted her when she's at her worst. He even wanted to die with her, well that's obvious though.

Time went by. Y/n's birthday is coming. Emma was busy preparing for her birthday, while she's not even excited about it. For her, it's just a normal day. Well, the people at the Detective agency were celebrating her birthday, but she was happy about it and she always can't eat cake because Ranpo had already eaten it all.

"Oi, Y/n! Aren't you excited about your birthday?!" Emma groaned while cleaning.

Y/n just shrugged and open her phone to call Dazai. "Yo, Dazai!" she said when Dazai answered the call.

"Y/n-chaann~!" A loud voice of Dazai welcomed her, she immediately put away the phone from her ear.

"You can greet me without shouting, Osamu," she said with annoyance. Mikey and Draken were talking with Takemichi not so far from her." 'sup, how's everyone there?" she asked and click her tongue.

"You want to talk with them? Wait a min," he said. "Shinju shinju wa hitori dekinai o~" he sang while walking towards the office. He's singing his suicide song again made by him. "Atsushi-kun! Kunikidaaa-kuun~!" he called in chorus. "Y/n-chan is calling!"

Y/n heard some noises on the phone. They're running again. "ehem.. y/n, how are you there? Do you have any problems there? Your birthday is near, what do you want to have?" A sudden question from Kunikida.

Y/n laugh. "My god! What's with those questions?! I just left last week, you guys miss me that much?!" y/n said in shock.

"Ofー oi, Y/n-san! Your birthday is coming, right? You can trust me to buy your cake!" Ranpo cut Kunikida's sentence.

"haha, no thanks, Ranpo-kun. You'll probably lose it." Y/n fake a laugh. "Anyways, you guys can come here. You can bring the others if they're not busy," she added.

While Y/n was happily talking to her co-workers, Emma, Draken, and Mikey were just watching her. How she laughed, she smiled, how her eyes bright because of happiness. She's happy when y/n was talking to them, but her eyes don't glint, unlike how she laughs right now. It's different.

She became distant to us...
