"Good afternoon, Chocolate," Joshua said, watching Jazmin stumble.
"My name is Jazmin, idiot, and before you come in, I recommend you think twice. I don't want you to end up like me," Jazmin said, annoyed, walking away.
"Jazmin, come back, Jazmin," Emilio said, also reaching the door and seeing her leave.
"I don't understand what I did wrong. I just arrived and they insult me. But I'm not surprised because, as it seems, this Chocolate hasn't been tamed," Joshua said, entering the office behind Emilio.
"Forget about it. I'm not going to tame anyone. Just tell me, did you sort everything out for my date tonight?" Emilio said, sitting down a little annoyed, not understanding what had happened.
"Yes, I did everything. It's all arranged. It will be at your hotel at 9 pm. Honestly, this stresses me out," Joshua said, playing with a stress toy on the desk.
"Alright, I'll be there. Now I'm going to go out and see the ring I'm going to give Jazmin tomorrow when we get married," Emilio said, closing his jacket seriously.
"You're going to personally go look for something so cheesy? Haha, I can't believe it. Don Juan searching for a jewel for a girl!" Joshua laughed.
"I don't see the point of your comment. I need it to be clear that I put in effort. That's all," Emilio replied.
Emilio went to one of the most important jewelry stores in the world and after several minutes looking at many rings, he found the right one. After finishing the purchase, he went to his parents' house
"My boy, it's so good to see you," Charlotte said from a couch where she was lying down.
"Mother, how are you? How are you feeling?" Emilio asked.
"I'm fine, calm down. Take that look off your face. Now, tell me, what brings you here, especially during work hours?" Charlotte said, smiling while caressing Emilio's hair.
"What do you think of Jazmin!?" Emilio asked.
"Hmm, she's a very intelligent, sensitive girl, and above all, very responsible, taking care of her sick sister. She's truly different from all the others. But why are you asking me?" Charlotte replied.
"Mother, I've just made the decision to get married," Emilio said, looking at how his mom smiled upon hearing the news.
"Don't play with me, Emilio, please," Charlotte said.

"With Jazmin!?"
"If you think it's a bad idea!?"
"Not at all, my love. You don't know how happy you make me with this decision, especially now. Count on me for anything. Wait for me, I'll be right back with something," Charlotte said, going up to her bedroom.
Charlotte came down with a glass box and opened it, revealing a beautiful ring with a blue diamond
"What are you doing, mother?"
"What am I doing? These rings have been in the family for 10 generations, and now I want it to stay with the woman you love. And when you have a little girl, it will belong to her as well," Charlotte said, tears in her eyes.
"Mother, it's really not necessary."
"I know you can buy an expensive one, but this is more sentimental," she said, wiping her tears.
Emilio hugged her immediately, feeling his heart breaking knowing he was going to lose her
"Mother, I wish you would make the decision to fight and not leave me alone," Emilio said, crying. He was already 30 years old with a strong and dominant character, but next to his mother, he could be himself without being judged or hurt.
