Episode 10

In the morning, Emilio entered the room where Jazmin was. He walked towards her and stared at her for a moment. Her swollen eyes indicated that she had cried all night. The stain on the bed was evidence of what had happened between them.

At that moment, Jazmin opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Get up, we need to talk about a couple of things," Emilio said seriously, looking at her and walking towards a small terrace in the room. He sat down and waited for Jazmin to approach.

Jazmin looked at him. He was already dressed in a black suit and a red tie, leaving the scent of his cologne in the room. He walked out through a sliding window that overlooked the garden. She got up, still feeling a bit of pain in her intimacy, and walked towards where he was sitting. She sat away from him and didn't even look at him.

Emilio observed Jazmin's action and wondered why she was acting this way. Any woman in her place would be thrilled to be with him, especially receiving money.

"I need to go see Cristi. She should be awake by now," Jazmin said angrily.

"One of my men will take you, but before that, I want you to be careful with your behavior with the doctor," Emilio said, looking at his phone.

"What are you insinuating? Let me clarify that I am not the type of woman you are used to dealing with," Jazmin said angrily, looking at him.

"Well, it didn't seem like it when I found you hugging Richard the other afternoon. Besides, there's not much difference. You also receive my money. But don't worry, in a year, you can get involved with anyone you want," Emilio replied.

Jazmin felt like saying a few insults, but Fabiola entered with a tray of pastries and some fruits.

"With your permission, miss. Good morning. Emilio, you sent for me," Fabiola said, looking at Emilio.

"Yes, Nana. I'm sure you already know Jazmin," Emilio replied.

"Yes, I had the pleasure last night," Fabiola said warmly, smiling at Jazmin.

"Well, she will come to the house sometimes if she needs anything. I need you to help her. Also, tell Miguel to take her to the hospital when he finishes breakfast," Emilio instructed Fabiola.

"She's sick and not feeling well, Miss Jazmin. I can make her a tea if you'd like," Fabiola said, looking concerned.

Emilio also looked concerned as there was a lot of blood on the bed.

"No, it's fine. I'll go see my sister. I'm okay," Jazmin replied.

Jazmin blushed as Fabiola looked at the bed, emphasizing what had happened last night.

"Is she really your sister? Don't tell me, I saw you packing some pastries to take to her. They're really good, with cream," Fabiola said with a Mexican accent, which Jazmin found pleasant.
