COOKIES..

After the long ride to grandma's house ...my butt was stiff as a tree ...

"ughh... no wonder grandma alice doesn't want to come to the company ...if she were to travel this long everyday ..I cant imagine how stiff her body would be " maddi says getting out of the car ..

"yea ..that maybe one of the reason but if I had a house this grand and full of nature I would surely never get out here " ..I say stretching myself ...

there is tall trees every where ...the gardens are well trimed ...there is a natural pond and golf area within the house territory ...my grandma sure is grand ..I can see the two legendary vintage cars parked neatly in the garage. .....

aunt sierla comes out to greet us near the parking " welcome miss elli and miss maddi ..."

" aww.. aunt sierla plz ...don't be so formal ...call us like you used to before .. whats with all the misses " I say reaching out to hug her ..

its been ages since I last visited ..

"yea aunt ..did you miss us that much that you started using miss every time you speak " ..maddi jokes ..

we gave her the awkward silence ...

" haha ..heeeehee ..um .. I guess that was not funny..heh" she puts in awkwardly ..

after few seconds of same silence ..aunt and I exchange a mischievous glance and we all burst out laughing ..

" whats going on out there?....sierla ...are you having fun without me ...or are you guys making fun of me " ..grandma says looking down from the window ..

"Oh NOO ...madam alice ...we were only talking a bit about maddi " sierla answers trying to control her laugh

" ehhh grandma ..are you still bossing aunt sierla like you used to before " maddi shouts from the walking up to the house ..

" ahhh maddi ...no no no ..I was just asking her some questions. .."..grandma replys getting busy in her work ..

aunt sierla guides to the kitchen in the 2nd floor ..

maddi and I run to give grandma a big hug ..

" heyy guys ..let me go ..I am dirty ...look....see .." she points to her apron full of flour ..

" what are you making grandma ?" I ask eagerly ..

"cookies. .and cake " she says ..like a normal grandmother

" we heard you were bed ridden so we came here as soon as possible .." maddi says trying tease grandma ..

" oh really ..are you sure you was to say that to my face ...I will deduct your part of cookies" grandma threatens knowing maddi's weakpoint ..

" you r too cruel" maddi pouts ..

aunt and I laugh while they two keep arguing ..

I look around the kitchen for some food to eat .,.aunt grabs me a pack of chips and some chocolate and signals me to hide them ....I give a small 'yes sir' action and tuck the packet in my jacket. .

" maddi maybe we should wash up and change " I say ..pointing towards the door ..

"grandma we will be back in an hour ..till then plzz finish making those cookies ..I am really hungry" I say acting like a kid ..

" sure sure my dear elli " she says and aunt hurries maddi and me to go to our rooms ..

the cool thing is ..even if we rarely come here we have our own rooms because we always stay for about a month before going back to the city ..even if we have a lot of work grandma always insists on keeping us here for a month or so ..she says this is our healing days away from the city's pollutions ...

we hurry to our rooms ..I take out our stolen snacks and start munching away ..while maddi starts looking for our clothes ..
