We immediately went to the crime scene where the heinous crime took place. One of the twins died and the other survived. The one who didn't survive to the hand of death is identified as Trixie Majias and the survivor is identified as Camille Majias. And they are twins.
While investigators were investigating Trixie's body, I approached the Majias couple, who were sobbing as they hugged their one daughter, Camille.
"I'm Cason Maximus, I will be the investigator in your daughter's case. Mr. and Mrs. Majias, can I talk to your daughter who survived this crime to get a statement?" I spoke politely to them.
They just nodded at me while crying.
"Camille can you detail to me the whole incident?" I said and started recording our conversation.
"03:00 in the afternoon, while my twin and I were doing make-up, suddenly two armed men entered. One man was carrying a hammer and the other a knife. Their only purpose was to steal but when Trixie shouted, they were scared and panicked. I could see with my own eyes how they stabbed and hit my twin with a hammer, again and again. I tried to stop them but the man pulled my hair and dipped my head in the bathtub water. That's why my hair is wet now. I only escaped their sinful hand when I ran into the room and hid. And I called the police." She was detailing the incident to me.
"Thank you so much for your statement, Camille. Don't worry I will solve this case, that's a promise."

Three days later the autopsy report on Trixie's body came out. It sustained 75 stab wounds and countless hammer blows to the head and fingers that caused her death.
I was also confused by Camille's statement as a survivor, because according to her statement 03:00 pm the thieves entered their house. Police said when they arrived at the crime scene, the victim's blood smelled fishy and the autopsy report showed that Camille died at 01:00 p.m.
And the police added, at 3:30 p.m. the survivor called them for help. If Trixie dies at 1:00 p.m. why at 3:30 p.m. Camille called for help?
And I was even more confused to find the hammer and knife used to kill Trixie. Because the fingerprint matched the victim's fingerprint.
Maybe Trixie fought before she died but whether I admit it or not I doubt that it is possible that Camille was involved in the murder of her own twin.
So I talked to the Majias couple.
As I look at their family photo, I can see the difference between the two twins. Trixie has a mole on her right cheek and you can also see that she is not very happy. While Camille, on the other hand, has a mole on her left cheek and you can see she is happy.
"Mrs. Majias, can you tell me about the two of them?" I asked.
"Camille is a smart and very kind child and dependable, and Trixie is smart too but her temper is crooked. I will admit I lacked attention to Trixie because I focused my attention on Camille. And I regret it," She sobbed.
Mrs. Majias held my hand and I feel her tremble.
"I-I don’t know how to start but I can feel in my heart the truth. L-Last night I went to Camille's room to check on her condition but I caught her putting on make-up. She smiled at me when she saw me and she called me mommy. So my gut feeling grew," Her voice trailed off as she suppressed a sob.
"What do you mean by increased your gut?" I asked in astonishment.
"I feel like she’s not C-Camille—"
"W-What are you talking about?" Mr. Majias replied while mixed with astonishment.
"I know them, because I'm a mother. First, Camille doesn't know how to wear make up. Second, Camille wouldn't call me mommy if it was just the two of us. She calls me aunt because she knows I just adopted them."
Because of what she said I clenched my fist. I called the police to pick up Camille and when I arrived at the precinct I saw her just bent over while a lawyer was talking to her.
I sat down and laid out all in front of her the papers containing the autopsy reports, etc.
"Erase the foundation that covers the mole on your cheek," Authoritatively I commanded her as I handed her my handkerchief.
She accepted it but I was annoyed with her attitude as if she was pretending that her brain had lost the screw.
"Stop pretending to be Camille. I already know everything, Trixie," I uttered.
I could see the fear in her movements.
"Camille has a mole on her left cheek, you may have imitated her mole using make-up," I confronted.
She wiped the handkerchief on her cheek where the mole was stationed.
"What hell are you talking about? Look, I'm Camille!"
I was shocked that her mole was not erased, so I took the handkerchief and I wiped both her cheeks but no make-up was removed.
"I'm c-confused.." I whispered.
"You see investor Maximus, you can’t say she was involved in the death of her twin. She still innocent until proven guilty," the lawyer replied and tapped me on the shoulder.

I was in the office as I frowned looking at and reading the autopsy reports.I was really confused by the situation, because the victim's corpse could not be identified very well because its fingers and head were crushed.
If the suvivor is really Camille, why would Mrs. Majias think that the possible one with her is Trixie? And why would Mrs. Majias lie?
I stopped thinking when suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," I said.
"This is the background record and personal info of Mrs. Majias, Sir," My secretary said and handed me the papers.
"Thank you," I uttered and accepted the paper.
My secretary immediately nodded and left my office.
And based on her background record, she faces a contract killing charge. Contract killing is a serious offense that can invite death penalty in some states. If a person or organization hires another person or organization to kill an individual, it is a kind of murder for hire. This involves an illegal contract between the two parties.
Her victim was her own parents. The case was simply dismissed for lack of evidence. But based on this, the man she hired to kill her parents sang.
She was also diagnosed with schizophrenia since her two daughters died. So maybe he adopted So maybe she adopted twins Trixie and Camille to replace her two children who died.
I took my jacket and car key to go to the couple’s house and when I got there, all I could reach was Mr. Majias.
"Sorry Mr. Majias, can I ask you offensive questions about your wife?" I asked.
He put the coffee he had brewed for me and he sat down. "Sure, what is it?"
"Your wife used to have a criminal case and was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Couldn't she have had something to do with the death of your daughter Trixie? She also told me that she lacks attention to Trixie because of Trixie's crooked behavior. Could there be favoritism happening in your household?" I asked.
He sighed. " It is true what you said that she had a criminal case before, but the case was dismissed due to lack of evidence. Her brother wants her to be set up so her brother hires a murderer to kill their parents and blame her. And her brother also killed our two children. Anger over money is the root."
I looked at him awkwardly.
"Ever since our daughters died, she has been diagnosed with schizophrenia. But when the twins came into our lives, her condition improved. Yes, at first I suspected her of having anything to do with Trixie’s death, because we once argued that the cause was Trixie. But I realized she couldn’t do that to Trixie because she considered the twins to be her real child and I knew she wouldn’t let her lose a child again. My wife is innocent, sir," He explains.
I nodded at his explaination and pointed to their family picture. "I talked to the survivor and I erased the mole that was on her cheek but the result was that her mole was real. Camille has a mole on her left cheek, right?"
But I was shocked by his reaction and it was as if he had seen a ghost.
"What's wrong? Am I wrong?" I asked in astonishment.
He stood up in his seat and gripped both my shoulders tightly.
"Oh God! Y-You misunderstood the photo. The one with the mole on the left cheek was Trixie. That picture is the opposite of the true nature of the two of them. Trixie smiles because we bought her a new piano and Camille is sad because she found out that they were just adopted!" He said as his voice trembled.
Suddenly my cellphone rang and I was shocked by the news brought to me.
The survivor escaped.
The suspect escaped.
Trixie escaped.
"I know where she’s going, I’m sure she’s going to the building where my wife’s office is."
Mr. Majias and I quickly went there and when we got here, there were people making a fuss as they looked at the top of the building. And we saw Trixie and Mrs. Majias standing at the end of the building. Trixie was crying as if she was angry and Mrs. Majias was crying as if she was begging.
We quickly went to the rooftop and we found Trixie pushing Mrs. Majias away from her.
"Don't continue what you're doing, Trixie. There is another way to solve your problem. But first you have to pay for the sin you did to Camille," I calmed her down.
But she laughed out loud.
"Camille! Camille! Camille! Always Camille! She's the one who's kind, she's the one who's smart, she's the one who's good!" She shouted.
I could see the anger and envy in her eyes.
"T-Trixie... that's not t-true.." Mrs. Majias cried.
"When I won the paino contest, none of you went but when Camille won the art contest, you two really went. I thought if I killed Camille, you would love me. I thought if I pretended to be Camille you would love me as much as you love her. She's always the one you love!" She shouted in anger.
But her hard voice became soft and her tears flowed.
"How about me?" Her voice cracked.
"N-No.. I love you Trixie.. I love you so much because your my daught—" Mrs. Majias didn't finish what she was going to say when Trixie smiled at her.
"If you love me why can't I feel it?" She chuckled.
"Don't worry, in the other world I will apologize to Camille."
We tried to rescue Trixie but it was too late because she had already jumped. Before her body fell to the cement I could see the mixed emotions in her eyes. Anger, conscience and envy.
It was as if my world slowing down, I could see the people shouting at the bottom of the building and I could hear Mrs. Majias sobbing while her husband hugged her.
This is the story of the tragedy of the twins.
Emotional jealousy is dangerous, because when it merges with a person, it is frightening. Jealousy is like a disease, because it slowly kills you.
The case has been resolved.
