Chapter 13 : marriage

Inside the office, afternoon, Hyun-ae POV.

My phone started to ringing so I looked at the caller ID. It was my mother, I picked it up.

"Hello? eomma? why did you called all of a sudden?", I asked.

"Your father-", she sighed. "What is it..? Is he in trouble..?", I said a little bit worried.

"He wanted you to come right now", she said. "Right now? It's okay, i'm not that busy but why all of a sudden?", I asked.

"He was planning to arranged marriage for you so he decided us to meet his friend", she said.

"What..?!", I was startled. "Eomma..-", I felt a little bit depressed.

"I know you don't want it but the arranged marriage are not decided yet, his friend hasn't know about it, it just he wanted all of us together to meet them and get to know them", she said.

"Is it really necessary..?", I said.

"I don't know but tell us if you don't like about it okay? Your father were feeling kinda distressed these days", she said. I sighed.

"Okay", then I hung up.

Jeongyeon suddenly came in, she looked at me. "What is it?", she asked.

"My mother called me to meet them right now", I said while taking my bag and stuff.

"Meet who..?", she asked. "I don't know,I guess my father wanted to arranged me a marriage", I said a bit depressed.

"Again..?!", she startled. I looked at her like I have no choice. She sighed.

"You should go, I can take care the company for you", she smiled and I just simply nodded with a smile too.

...

"You're daughter are so pretty", I just smiled a little.

Why is this happening to me...

My father friend that he wanted me to meet so much is....Kim Taehyung's parents..!!!

If he really agreed about this arranged marriage, I might went crazy or fussed about it.

"Appa,I have to go", I said because I have some business to handle and at the same time I don't want to stay here much longer.

"Okay,be safe then", my father smiled. I bowed at them.

"Let Taehyung send her then", Taehyung's father said.

Oh no, this is not good.

"There's no need and I don't want to trouble him and you guys", I said with a smile.

"It's fine", he smiled."Taehyung,can you send her?", he asked while looked at Taehyung.

"Sure,there's absolutely no problem about,I would really love it", he said innocently with a smile.

"That's great..!", his father smiled and so as my father.

"You know what I heard", he suddenly spoke all of a sudden.

"What is it..?", I asked a bit nervous and impatient.

"I heard your father were planning to arranged marriage between us", he chuckled. I looked at him "Wha-?", I went dumbfounded.

Eomma said they didn't know about it but how did he know.

"Actually, I didn't heard about it, I just thought like that", he chuckled again.

I felt a little bit annoyed, I don't want to marry him anyway.

"Even your parents agree about it-", he said and I looked at him. "I will take care of you, don't worry, I can do better than your ex-husband", he smirked a little.

"I won't disappoint your parents like he did", he added.

I looked down. He mentioned about marriage and then about my previous marriage, ofcourse it's related to Jungkook.

Inside the office, Jungkook POV.

"Jungkook..!", Namjoon suddenly barged in my office again like he used to do.

I sighed. "I think I have tell you like a thousand time right?", I said while looking at him.

"I'm sorry", he pouted a little. "If you're sorry,why do you always barged in?", I said seriously.

"It's not time to argue with my boss,I heard one of the co-workers said that Hyun-ae parents were going to arranged her marriage", he said. I looked at him.

"What..?! are you seriously..?!", I shocked.

"Yes but the person she's going to marry hasn't know about it, it was just planned from her parents", he said.

I kinda feel frustrated, I have to stop this but that's mean I have to meet her parents.

"Who is that person?", I asked.

"You mean the person she's going to marry?", he asked me back and I nodded.

"That-", he was hesitated to tell me. It feels like he knows about it.

"Tell me", I said seriously.

"It's Kim Taehyung", he said. "That son of a b-", I stand up furiously.

"Whoa..! relaxed..!", he said while trying to calm me down.

"How am I going to relaxed..?! I have to stop this..!", I said furiously.

He sighed. "Well, it's up to you then but you better think it through,you're not just go to her parents and tell them to stop it", he said.

"What do you mean by that?", I said a bit dumbfounded of his words.

"I mean when you trying stop the marriage before it's happened,you should have a reason why you're going to stop", he said.

He's right, If I went to her parents just to tell them to stop about it, I don't know if they listen or not. I should have a reason why I have to stop but then I suddenly had a thought.

"I know how to stop", I said. "What is it?", he asked.

"I'm going to marry her"

Hyun-ae POV.

I keep sighed today. "I don't want to marry", I said to myself.

"Hyun-ae..!", Jeongyeon suddenly barged in.

"What is it?", I said a bit worried. "Is it true..?! you're going to marry..?!", she said all of a sudden.

"How did you know?", I asked a bit confused.

"Many people talked about it", she said. "And how did they know?", I asked her.

"I don't know,I heard that Taehyung's company talked about it so I didn't know how our co-workers know about it", she said. Taehyung's company? it must be him, I know he suddenly tell or leaked the information about it in purposed.

I sighed. "I really don't want to marry him", I said a bit depressed.

"Then how about Jungkook?", she asked me.

"I don't know", I said while spacing out.

"I want you to answered this honestly", she said, I looked at her.

"Do you want to marry Taehyung?", she asked. "No way..!", I shooked my head furiously.

"Then how about Jungkook?", she asked me again.

"I don't know but we once divorced", I said. "But you guys can marry again you know", she said.

"You should think it through", she said.

What's there to be think about..? I might went crazy about it.

Almost nightime, Jungkook POV.

That was a simple talk with her parents but luckily, they agreed to it. I never felt this happy before.

//**FLASHBACK**//

"I wanted to marry Hyun-ae", I said with my determined face.

"What-?", her mother stuttered. "I wanted to marry Hyun-ae", I said again.

"But will you really love her and took care of her?", she asked. "Yes,I won't make mistake like I did 3 years ago", I said.

"But I don't know her father will agree about it", she said a bit worried.

"Fine,I will let you marry her", her father suddenly show up. I smiled a little "really..?!", I said while trying to hold my excitement.

"Yes but if you make the same mistake,I will beat you up", he said. "I will not", I said.

"And I want to tell you something", he said. "What is it..?", I asked while being nervous all of a sudden.

"Don't do anything against her will and if you do,you're a dead meat", he said strictly.

"I won't do anything she doesn't like", I said.

"And-", he was hesitated to tell me about it. "And?".

"We actually wanted a grandchildren so talked about it to Hyun-ae", he said.

//**END OF FLASHBACK**//

Grandchildren? That's mean our kids? My face suddenly flushed in red. I don't know how to talked about it to Hyun-ae.

Then my phone started to ringing, I picked it up since my mother called me. I think it's about the marriage.

"Eomma?" "Ya..! are you really going to marry Hyun-ae..?! her mother just told me just now..", she said furiously.

"Yeah..", I answered.

"My boy have grown up", she chuckled at me.

"I'm not a kid anymore eomma", I said. "Yeah,you're right", she chuckled then hung up.

That's it?

She just asked me about that only? I thought it the conversation should be long.
