Chapter 11 : "follow your heart"

Hyun-ae POV.

"It's because of you guys", said eomma. What? because of us? me and Jungkook?

Eomma keep looking at the both of us but then my father started to moving his body, he might be awake.

"Appa", I looked at him, he keep coughing. "Appa,drink some water", I said while handing him a bottle of water.

"Hyun-ae", eomma called me. I turned my look at her, she was gesturing at Jungkook. I went beside him but suddenly Jungkook was holding my hand gently, I was startled, it make my heart skipped a beat.

"Hyun-ae?", my father called me. I looked at him "Jungkook?", he suddenly looked at Jungkook. I was feeling kinda nervous all of a sudden.

"I want to talk", said my father strictly while making himself comfortable sitting on the bed.

"Me?", I said while pointing myself. "No", he said.

"You", he said while looking at Jungkook.

I looked at Jungkook with my confused look. He looked at me "It's okay", he said with a smile.

"Hyun-ae,let's go", said eomma then she took my hand and went out. Why did my father want to talk to him all of a sudden? I hoped there's nothing wrong.

"Let's wait outside", said eomma and I just nodded.

Jungkook POV.

Hyun-ae and her mother went outside just for me and her father to talked. Why and what does he want me to talked about? Is it because of me and Hyun-ae that made him had an arguement with Hyun-ae's mother? I gulped first.

"Sit here", he said strictly while pointing at the chair near his bed. I obeyed him and sat on the chair.

"What is it that you wanna talked about?", I asked politely. He drink his water first.

"Why you and Hyun-ae together now?", he asked while looking at his drink.

I gulped again "It just a business purposes,we had a corporation contract already", I said whilen looking nervous.

"That's not what I meant", he said. I looked at him. "what do you mean by that?, I asked because I hoped it's not what i'm thinking right now.

"You know what I mean", he said then he looked at me. "Are you trying to play with my daughter again..?!", he added while staring at me.

"No,i'm not", I said with my determined face. "It's been 3 years,after you divorced with her,don't you know how much she cried just because of you toying with her feelings huh? I know it was an arranged marriage between the two of you but there were an agreement between our two families", he said.

An agreement? "What agreement?", I asked. "You can asked your mother about it and as for my daughter,you guys met again and are toying her again?! Your mother already told my wife about it and then she told me that it's better for you guys to get married again", he said with his face looking unsatisfied at me.

"Do you think I agreed to married my daughter to you again..?!", he said. "I promised,I won't hurt Hyun-ae again,I can changed for her", I said.

"You only good at words,if you hurt her again and make her cry,I will beat you up", he said but then I looked at him. "Is that a yes?", I asked with my edgy tone.

"Not yet", he said and I just nodded awkwardly. "We all know what kind of person you are,that's why our families decided to married the both of you and see if you changed,that was the agreement but, it's even worse", he said. "Hyun-ae had fall for you at that time but you didn't care for her a bit,It was my fault to married her to you", he added.

I suddenly feel kinda bad. I once care for her but it was just an act because I don't want her to report about it to my parents and her parents but I didn't know that who would have thought that the caring act make my feelings towards her are real. If she really fall for me again, I won't do anything stupid again.

"And now you guys met again make me feel uncomfortable, she is not a little kid anymore, she may act like one but she's a girl anyway", he added. "She had feelings too but now, how about you? if your feelings are true,then show it to me. If not-", he said but then I looked at him. "If not,I will married her to someone else who is even better than you", he said.

I don't want to see her married someone other than me, I must show how worthy and true I am to her.

"I'm really sorry for what I have done,I regreted it the most. I may have toying with her feelings before but now i'm not,people changed. I care about her even more, I can take care of her when she's scared, I can take care of her when she's hurt. I know she's a grown up already but the way she act are like a little kid and it make me feel that I want to protect her at all cost. What i'm trying to say is, I promised that I won't hurt her, I promised that I won't make her cry and I promised that I can give her love and care from me even more better than before. After 3 years, I kept my feelings shut from everyone but once I saw her, it's only opened for her,no one can enter it other than her. She's my only one that I regreted the most if I lose her again", I said without hesitant.

"I hoped your every words you just said just now are true", he said strictly. I just nodded simply.

"It's lunchtime right now, Hyun-ae must be hungry", he said while making himself comfortable on the bed. "Okay then,I will go", I said then I bowed at him.

I went outside and Hyun-ae and her mother were waiting outside. "You can go inside", I said with a smile to her mother and she just nodded and get inside the room.

I looked at Hyun-ae. "What is it?", she asked a bit worried. "Nothing much,your father wanted you to eat for lunch,let's go then!", I said while grabbing her hand and pulled it.

Inside the car, Jungkook POV.

"Are you bringing me lunch?", she asked and I nodded.

"What did you and my father talked about just now?", she asked. "Well,nothing much,you don't have to worry about it", I said simply with a smile.

She just simply nodded but then it suddenly reminded me every word I just said to her father. What I remembered that I wanted to give her love and care for her, did I really loved her? Am I really that true to her? I just want her so badly but she just keep avoiding herself from me.

I really don't know that she fell for me 3 years ago because she didn't say or show about it to me but now, I know that she shut her feelings from anyone just like I am. I hoped her heart can opened it only for me just like i'm opened it for her.

"Can I asked you something?", I asked. "What is it?", she answered.

"If you married in an arranged marriage again,would you agree?", I asked while feeling nervous and gulped all of a sudden. She looked at me a bit confused and nervous too.

"Uh,if it is from my parents,I had to agreed it", she said while looking down. My eyes suddenly went wide "Why?", I asked again.

"Maybe it because i'm used to listen and obeyed what they say", she said.

If one day she married someone else other than me, I might be regret about it but I just hoped she won't.

Hyun-ae POV.

Why did he suddenly asked me about it? Did appa and eomma really had an arguement because of us?

I shacked the thought away and sighed. I'm really hungry, I should stop thinking about it.

Inside the office, Hyun-ae POV.

After Jungkook talking with my father, he is acting pretty weird. I really wanted to know what they had talked about so badly.

"Is everything fine?", asked Jeongyeon after she entered inside my office.

I just simply nodded with a smile. "How could this happened?your father always careful at everything", she said.

"Eomma said they had an arguement", I said with a sighed. "Why would they had an arguement?", she asked while handing me a booklet for me to sign like she always do.

"She said they had an arguement because of me and Jungkook,I don't know why and when appa awake,he wanted to talked with Jungkook and I don't even know what they talked about", I explained while signing the booklet.

Jeongyeon took the booklet. "Maybe they know that you guys are together but not that together yet,that's why they worried something bad would happened to you like 3 years ago", she said.

"I think so too", I said with a forced smile. Jungkook even asked me if I married to someone else. Are they planning to force marriaged me again? or they not?

I'm not really that ready for a relationship, that's why I keep rejecting guys who confess or flirt with me before but when it comes to Jungkook, I didn't realise that I let him do what he want, it feels like he's controlling me.

I sighed. "Are you okay?did something happened too?", she asked worried after she saw me a bit depressed.

"I don't know if i'm okay or not,it just I keep thinking too much stuff", I sighed.

"What is it?you can tell me everything like you always do", she said with a simple smile.

"Jungkook just asked me if I had an arranged marriage again", I said. "And ofcourse you know I won't reject my parents opinion but i'm afraid many things will changed if I make the same decision like I would always do", I added.

"You should do what you want,I know it's good to obeyed your parents word but when it comes to this things,I know you don't want that,why don't you try to follow your heart even more", she said.

"Yeah,you're right but I don't know how to do about it", I said. "I know you can", she said with a smile.

I have finished all the work so I decided to went out for a walk before nightime.

But suddenly, I saw a familiar figure standing infront of me. He bowed when he saw me, I just went speechless. What should I do? It's almost nightime, i'm afraid something bad will happened, I don't have any good feeling about it when I see him.

"It's been so long,where are you going?", he asked. "Uh,yeah,it's not that long Taehyung,I just went out for a walk before I went home", I stuttered a bit while being nervous.

"Can I give you a ride?", he said. "It's okay,I can go by myself", I said. "No,you're not,It just driving around", he said while chuckling but then he pulled my hand and grabbed me to his car.

"You can send me here,I can go by myself", I said, I don't want him to know where I live anyway. "Don't be like that,I'm just sending you there's no big deal", he chuckled.

Oh god, why would I encouter at this kind of guy. "You don't know where I live,that's why I don't want to disturb you", I said with a forced smile.

"You don't want me to disturb or you just don't want to know where I live", he said while chuckling himself.

"Uh,it's not that", I said. "Just send me here", I said while pointing at a place. "Okay then,I won't say no to a beautiful lady", he said. I really don't feel good, I can't handle this cheesy line anymore.

He sent me to a place, he waved at me and I waved at him back awkwardly. When he left, I huffed a deep sighed.

But suddenly a car parked infront of me, I was startled a little bit but the moment the door car opened, that person pulled me inside and it make sit on that person lap.

"Who-" "Don't you know how to stay away from Taehyung..?! you know what kind of person he is but you still went out with him", said Jungkook furiously. Is he being mad? he looks really scary when he is mad, I was trembling a little bit but not that much because the way he looked at me make me feel kinda scared. No one have been mad at me like that but if it was my father, I used to it.

But now Jungkook infront of me while holding my waist to make me sit on his lap properly and the way he looked at me were so deep, it feels like he looked at me through my soul, my heart ache all of a sudden.

Jungkook POV.

I was driving but when I saw her went out from Taehyung's car, I started to went furious and mad all of a sudden. I can't helped but pulled her inside which make her sit on my lap.

I was being mad while looking at her but I didn't realised that it make her trembling all of a sudden. The way she looked at me make my heart ache, she looked innocent and scared eventhough it was nightime, I could clearly see her eyes.

"Uh,I'm s-sorry if it scared you", I said while feeling kinda worried when she looks like this. I have to be careful, I can't lose her.

"Uh,it's fine", she said while faking a smile but I know she's not fine because she's trembling a little.

I sighed then I put my forehead onto hers. She just went quiet and speechless.

"I'm sorry,it just I don't like it when you with him", I said softly.

"I'm sorry too", she said. "Why are you sorry?you didn't do anything wrong", I said.

"I'm sorry if I make you angry", she said softly. I smiled a little.

"What should I punished you this time?", I said with a smirked. Her cheek started to tinted in red and it's adorable.

Then I suddenly had an idea. "You think you deserve a punishment?", I asked seductively with a smirked.

"Uh,I-I d-don't know", she stuttered. "You don't know?", I raised my eyebrow.

"I suggest you to picked a punishment", I said while looking at her dearly. She looked at me with her eyes a lot of question.

I went closer to her ear. "I spare you if you kissed me but if you don't-", I whispered seductively. "I will really eat you for sure", I said then I licked her ear.

I smirked when she look flustered and at the same time, I felt unbelivable slight of joy inside when i'm with her. Let's see what will she choose.
