CHAPTER 2 (the odd behaviour)

Evelyn's pov.

I was so freaking nervous sitting in the passenger seat of Henry's sleek black car and the way he was rubbing his hand on my thigh was freaking me out. No doubt he is a nice guy but his touch was sending weird feelings down my spine and not the good kind.

"How old are you again sweetie?" Henry asked me in an extra sweet voice which made me cringe inside. " I am 24 years old" I replied softly . This man beside me scares me . Yes we have met a few times and texted each other but every time he is near me I feel so small and terrified.

Henry is 26 years old and stands 6'2 feet tall . He is muscular and has a sharp face with a perfect jawline . But honestly he doesn't appeal to me that much now that I start noticing his features from up close. I do like men with good physique but he was too big with his protruding muscles. The thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is his eyes. They were cold and stern without an ounce of emotion.It's like he doesn't have any soul inside. He keeps a frown on his face and never looks at me like he is actually willing to be with me , it's like there is this strange glint in his eyes which makes him seem cruel and evil. I don't even know why I agreed to go on a date with him, maybe I am too desperate for someone to love me .

We reached a well lit and beautiful House at the outskirts of the town. There were no houses in sight as far as one could look. I again got that odd feeling at the pit of my stomach that something was seriously going to be wrong. I got my phone out of my pocket and opened Vestin's contact to call him. As soon as I tried to press the call button my phone was snatched from my hand by Henry who was looking at the house but he had a frown on his face.

" Hey, give back my phone , I need to make a call" I said in a shaky voice because he was looking scary with my phone clutched in his hand . Suddenly, he threw my phone out the window of the car making me gasp in shock and fear. " You don't need that babe, I am right here so you should pay attention to me" Henry said in a menacing tone making me shudder . He had this really crazy look in his eyes which was enough for me to know that I am in deep shit.

He got out of the car and came towards my side opening the door for me to get out. I hesitated but got out eventually and held his bigger outstretched hand with my shaky one. He seemed to relish in the fact that he was making me scared which was clear from the smirk on his lips.

We entered the huge house in front of us and I looked at the interior. I was kept clean and well furnished with a few book shelves in the living room , a tv on the wall , and a grey set of couches. The kitchen area was connected to the living room .

I didn't get to turn back because I was harshly shoved in the nearest wall with my head hitting the hard surface making me wince in pain. Henry was in front of me with those scary eyes looking at my face like he had won a trophy of some sort .

His one hand pinned both my hands over my head while his other hand went under my shirt resting at my back just near my butt. I looked at him with wide fearful eyes. His smirk turned evil within seconds and his next words made me sweat and tremble.

" I finally have you in my grasp pretty thing. I will never let you go away from me " Henry said like he was stating facts . I looked at him like he was out of his mind and tried to push him off of me but my attempts were futile because my strength was no match in front of him.

" Henry what are you saying, let go of me right now. You are scaring me . Get away" I got angry at his aggressive behaviour and pushed at his stomach with my knees. " You are such a fucking creep , get the f_uck away from me " I yelled at him which did nothing in my favour as I soon found myself on the cold floor with a red handprint on my cheek while Henry was standing over me with an angry expression on his face.

" You will not raise your voice at me you dirty piece of shit.Now listen to me carefully.You will stay in this house as long I wish and you will obey whatever I will tell you to do if you want to stay alive" Henry said in an angry tone while gripping my jaw in a tight hold. Tears gathered in my eyes and fell down my cheeks which made Henry grin even more.

" Next time will be more than this if you misbehave in any way. I will keep an eye on you all that time and don't forget your place in this house. You are just a plaything for me nothing else" Henry told me and went towards the kitchen to drink water because I heard the tap running .His words hurt but what terrified me was the meaning of his words . This man had literally kidnapped me with my own will and he is planning to keep me locked in this house far away from the city and Vestin for God knows how long.

I was pretty sure my life is going to be living hell. I cursed myself for getting in such a situation with no way out because the house was surrounded by big and scary bodyguards who have guns.

Tears fell from my eyes non stop thinking about what I got myself into . I thought about my old life , about Vestin . I have no idea when I will see him or if i will ever be able to see him ever again.

I sobbed on the floor in fear and pain . I don't know what this man will make me do but the way he was speaking to me he is actually going to treat me like his doll .

I have seen many documentaries to know how my life is going to turn after this. I will be stuck in this house until I have a way to escape which seems impossible.

I hope God will have mercy on me and someone will save me from this demon of a man.
