(Candice)

The loud noise from the bar can keep an introvert's head burst and that should be the same for me as I really love peace and tranquility but it doesn't really matter right now as my mind keeps on repeating what happened just this morning.

Flashback:

It's just 6am in the morning but I'm already on my way to Jedrick's condo. He is my boyfriend for three years already and today is our 3rd Anniversary. I'm going to surprise him today. I rushed to the elevator, pushed the button of the floor where he lives then tapped my foot on the floor non-stop while thinking what should I say first when I see him. I immediately get out from the elevator and heads towards his condo. The isle was so quiet and I don't know why but it made me more nervous. When I'm already in front of his door, I entered the date of my birthday and it immediately opened. I entered the house and continued to walk to Jedrick's room because I'm sure that he is still sleeping while I'm holding the cake, red wine, and my gift with my both hands. I don't understand why I am feeling so nervous and worried at the same time. I'm only going to surprise my boyfriend but for God's sake, my heart is thumping loudly inside my chest. I'm now in front of the door of his room and without further thought, I opened the door of his room that's not locked at all. I flashed a big smile on my face but I froze after seeing the scene inside of his room.

In the broad daylight, Jedrick is sleeping beside Joanne, his best friend. They are both ***** and what's more worst is that they're hugging intimately in their sleep. Tears started to pour from my eyes when the realization hit me. I was cheated on by the person I trust the most!

I should be the one giving him a surprise but I'm the one who's shockingly surprised after seeing what they're doing behind my back.

I forced myself to silently walk away. I feel like I'm getting crazy because of the pain I'm feeling right now but I can't loose my self control. I can only endure because I have a reputation to take care of. I slowly walked outside of the room and quietly closed the door. They didn't wake up and I thank God because I don't think I will be ready for a confrontation right at this moment. I go to his kitchen and placed the cake and the wine on the table. I opened my bag, took a note and started to write a message for him.

"Thank you for everything babe. I love you and you just don't know how much I do. Happy 3rd Anniversary. Don't contact me anymore. Let's not see each other. Goodbye. I'm breaking up with you." - Candice

I looked around of his house thinking about the precious memories we spent together in here while tears kept streaming on my cheeks. I wiped my tears and slowly go outside of his house, out of his condominium building, and out of his life.
