Nicole: I woke up in the middle of the night scared, I'm lying in a room I've never seen before, I look around and I see Brayan all crooked in an armchair, sleeping soundly. I don't even know where I am, my stomach is growling with hunger, I get up on tiptoe, cover Brayan and leave. To my surprise, I'm at the mansion, I keep walking slowly to the kitchen, I open it and assess all the contents of the refrigerator. I take a juice to see if I can swallow it, I drink small sips slowly and it works, I go back to the refrigerator because my stomach won't stop growling. I think about making a sandwich but maybe I can't eat it. I'm down looking at everything when I get a fright, I hear a deep, thick voice behind me that makes me tremble.
Brayan: I wake up and to my surprise there's a blanket that wasn't here when I slept, Nicole is no longer in bed, I get worried and go looking for her. I see the kitchen light on and the hot devil is with her ass up and her face inside the fridge.
Nicole...
Nicole: God!!!! Ouch...
I get up quickly and hit my head on the freezer door that I left ajar. Brayan comes quickly to meet me, leaves no distance between us, takes my hand off my head and examines it carefully. My heart races and I back away a little.
Brayan: Are you okay?
Nicole: I'm... Sorry to invade the kitchen... I was just really hungry!
Brayan: I ordered you some soup and left it in the microwave, the soup has no chunks so it will be easier to eat. Don't apologize, you fell asleep in the car, I thought it best not to wake you up to rest.
Nicole: Thank you, Mr. Brayan. Can we eat together, are you hungry?
Brayan continues to stare at me, seems to hesitate, but then agrees to eat with me.

Nicole: I... I can call Anna.
Brayan: She's been through the same thing you have and is scared, Cassio is taking care of her, and she needs to rest too.

I take Nicole's hand and we walk in silence to the room.
Nicole: At least let me stay in the armchair, you're too big for it.
Brayan: No! You need to rest. If you don't mind, I can lie in bed next to you, just to sleep, of course! That way I can be on alert if you get sick during the night.
Nicole: The... two... in the same...
Brayan: Bed? Yes! Just for tonight and just to sleep!
Nicole even stammers to speak, I lie down facing away from her. I listen to her breathing, she falls asleep and I turn to face her.
Nicole: I'm embarrassed, things are too weird. Brayan lies down and turns to the other side, I'm a little uncomfortable but I end up falling asleep. I wake up in the morning literally clinging to Brayan, my leg is on top of him and I'm lying on his chest with my hand on his. I'm sure I blushed, I carefully get off him as he remains asleep, already in my corner I stop for a moment to look at Brayan. He really is as handsome as he is described in the newspapers and magazines. I'm staring at him when he wakes up, now I'm embarrassed.
Brayan: I wake up to Nicole's weight on top of me, I feel a strange sense of peace. She stirs and I close my eyes, I even feel like laughing at her sneaking off me. She stands still for a while and I could swear she's staring at me, I open my eyes and she's looking at me, she blushes and I'm amused by her innocence.

Nicole: Good morning, Mr. Brayan.
I speak and get up quickly, I could swear I saw a little smile appear on his lips. I tell him that I'm going back to the pool house, of course he doesn't accept easily, but I don't give him another option. Brayan gives me seven days off, I understand it would be strange to work with these bruises. I call Anna, she's fine, the week goes by quietly, Brayan goes back to being an ice wall. I'm back to work today, I'm getting ready. I'm still a little bruised, I put on makeup and it's very discreet, apart from the bruises I don't feel any pain anymore. Vinicius has disappeared, Anna is back at work too and she and Cassio are acting strange. Zeus sleeps with me every night and I've become friends with all the staff at Brayan's mansion, only Richard who is one of Brayan's personal security guards bothers me, so I avoid him.

Brayan: Good morning, Nicole, these three men have been put in charge of you until Vinicius is arrested.
Nicole: Good morning, Mr. Brayan. Can I speak to you in private?
Brayan: No! It's not negotiable, you work for me and I'm going to keep you safe! If it's about something else, you can talk.
Nicole: It was about that, but...
Brayan: Nicole, I already said, I have nothing to discuss regarding this matter. Let's go, I don't want to be late for work.
Nicole gets into the car angry and we drive to the company, I don't know what she did to her face and neck, but I can't see any more bruises. We drive in silence to the company, I get out and my mother is waiting in front of the private elevator.
Good morning, mother.
Mary: Good morning, my son.
Nicole: Good morning, Mrs. Mary.
Mary: I look Nicole up and down.
I can't believe it, this is bizarre, son!
I don't answer her and go up with Brayan.
