After a humiliating event orchestrated by Vin, Kania and her husband exited the Gultom residence, overwhelmed by shame. She was embarrassed for claiming something that wasn't hers and felt guilty for lying to her parents.
"Until next time, dear brother-in-law. Next time you want to put on a show, prepare a little better so you don't embarrass yourself," taunted Vin, thoroughly satisfied.
"Don't insult me, Vin, I will have my revenge for this," Kania spat before leaving.
"Shameful," commented Sifa.
After Kania had left, Sifa hurried back to her room to get ready for a party with her friend.
Miranda then approached Vin, setting aside her embarrassment. "Vin, Sifa is heading to a party. Mom is asking you to accompany her, as she doesn't want Sifa going alone. Something might happen to her, you understand," Miranda said.
"Sure, Mom," Vin replied dismissively. Miranda relaxed after getting Vin's response and left.
Not long after, Sifa, ready to leave, passed by Vin who had been waiting and observing her.
"Wait up, Sifa, I'm coming with you. Mom asked me to accompany you," said Vin, admiring his wife's beauty despite her stubbornness.
"No need, I can manage alone and have fun with my friends," Sifa refused, secretly wishing Vin would insist.
"I'm going regardless. It's Mom's order and I must obey," Vin insisted, leaving Sifa no room to argue.
Without responding, Sifa went straight to the car, followed by Vin, who then joined her inside.
On the way, the gemstone showed unusual signs, and when Vin accidentally touched Sifa's hand, a fleeting vision revealed her impending death within the week.
As he pondered the vision, Dom called abruptly, asking to meet.
"Mr. Vin, can we meet? I have something to discuss," Dom conveyed over the phone.
"Sorry, Uncle, I can't meet you now as I'm escorting my wife to a party. If you'd like, you can come see me there," Vin replied, outright refusing due to his current commitment, yet Dom persisted.
"Fine, give me the address and I'll come to you," Dom requested, and Vin agreed.
"Alright, I'll send you the location. See me there," Vin ended the call with Dom and forwarded the event location.
Sifa happened to glance at Vin's phone as he sent the location. "Are you messaging Mrs. Ambar?" she inquired, causing Vin to pause his typing instantly.
"No, it's Uncle Dom, Martin's uncle. He wanted to meet me, and I told him I couldn't. He insisted, so I asked him to come to the party," Vin explained.
"Vin," Sifa called out.
"Yes? What is it?" he responded.
"I want to ask you something, and please be truthful. Is Mrs. Ambar involved in the collections you've been doing?" Sifa inquired coldly.
"Um... No. I handled it myself," Vin replied tersely, but Sifa scoffed in disbelief.
"Lies, I don't believe you can manage by yourself, I know what you're capable of. Tell me the truth, Vin, I won't be mad," Sifa pressed, and Vin reluctantly nodded.
"True, Mrs. Ambar had a hand in it. I had previously helped Uncle Dom with a significant issue, and Mrs. Ambar reached out to have him settle his debts, which is why I was able to secure the money so easily. Do you believe me now?" Vin asked.
"It seems Mrs. Ambar is genuinely kind. We might also seek her help someday," Sifa commented, trying to admire Ambar.
"You're right, we might need her help someday," Vin agreed.
"And the wristwatch, did Mrs. Ambar give that to you too?" Sifa probed further.
"No, the watch was a gift from Uncle Dom. If you still doubt it, you can check for yourself," Vin clarified, and only then did Sifa believe him.
"I do believe that now because you've proven it."
Soon they arrived at the lavish house where the party was being held. Nia and Lusi were already there, awaiting Sifa's arrival.
Nia welcomed Sifa with a hug. "Finally, you're here, Sifa. I've been waiting for you," Nia said.
"Sorry, I'm a bit late," Sifa replied, returning the embrace.
However, Nia was not pleased to see Vin behind Sifa and felt disgusted by his presence.
"Why did you bring him, Sifa?" Nia whispered, but Sifa gave no answer. Nia quickly ushered Sifa inside, and as Vin attempted to follow, Lusi stepped in his way.
"Why are you blocking me? I want to be with my wife," Vin said coldly.
"Vin, you should leave Sifa and divorce her. She deserves better than someone poor and tacky like you. It's pitiful that Sifa has to live under pressure alongside you," Lusi scorned.
"Listen, miss, I have no quarrel with you but why mess with my affairs? Is it because my social status doesn't compare to Sifa's and yours that you demean me so freely? Listen, miss, give me half a year, and I will surpass your class and turn your words back on you. You'll regret what you've said and will no longer mock me," Vin retorted, deeply infuriated by Lusi's insult.
"I don't care, even if you become rich. I'll never approve of you with Sifa. And I doubt you'll ever be wealthier than us," Lusi retorted defiantly.
"Believe it or not, I just want to prove it to you later. And you just wait for the day you'll regret it," Vin retorted before ignoring Lusi's demeaning words and pushing past her, resolving to prove himself.
Vin quickly sidestepped Lusi and caught up with Sifa, and ultimately, Lusi let Vin enter, following behind.
