After checking Memei's condition, Vin requested everyone to leave the room. However, one of the doctors insisted on staying put.
"I will not leave, I wish to ascertain that this man, who pretends to be a savior, is about to do something unorthodox and breach medical regulations," declared Dr. Lin. He is a specialist in Medical Acupuncture.
"Mr. Vin, I believe in you, that you can heal my daughter," said Ambar before exiting with the other physicians.
"I will do my utmost. Just pray, hopefully your daughter can still be saved," Vin replied before Ambar departed, and she nodded in response.
Vin promptly checked the arterial pulse points on Memei's wrist, then he pulled out a silver acupuncture needle. He immediately pierced Memei's ten fingertips, drawing blood from them. Following that, Vin quickly inserted another silver needle into her wrist several times, penetrating completely.
"Save the girl by using the method you've learned. Place me on the acupuncture point on the head so I can assist you in saving her," the gem spoke, emitting light and transforming into a golden acupuncture needle.
"Alright, I will attempt it, I hope it works and saves this girl," Vin murmured to the gem.
Vin then moved to position himself behind Memei's head, searching for the exact spot to insert the golden needle.
Dr. Lin, who was observing Vin's procedure with skepticism, understood acupuncture and attempted to correct Vin.
Though he held back, desiring to see what Vin would do, the doctor did not have faith. From his appearance alone, the doctor doubted Vin's ability to save Memei.
Just as Vin was about to puncture Memei's head with the acupuncture needle to stimulate her brain neurons for a response, Dr. Lin abruptly pulled him back, away from Memei's body.
"Stop, sir, do not continue with the incorrect method. You should know that inserting an acupuncture needle into the head is not to be taken lightly, and it could lead to serious consequences, even if the patient is already deceased. If you proceed, you may have to face the authorities," Dr. Lin threatened, but Vin ignored him.
"Leave me to it, doctor. Mrs. Ambar has entrusted me, so let me finish," Vin said, brushing the doctor's hand aside.
He did not care for Dr. Lin's words. At present, he was solely focused on saving Memei.
Dr. Lin secretly recorded what Vin was doing, considering it evidence in case Ambar decided to sue and pin the blame on Vin.
Vin pierced the median point on Memei's head with the acupuncture needle, followed by an insertion at the neck.
After a brief wait, Memei's blood circulation resumed and her heart rhythm began to beat, albeit not yet stable, as if life were being coaxed back into her—the changes evident from the monitor.
Dr. Lin was astonished as the vital signs monitor revealed Memei's returning heartbeat and saw her fingers bleeding anew.
"Where did you learn this healing technique? I am incredulous that your method is nearly successful, and you have managed to revive this girl," Dr. Lin inquired.
"Do not pose questions nor disturb my focus. Allow me to complete the task first so you can witness the results," Vin replied coolly.
Dr. Lin chose to step back, letting Vin finish his treatment. Secretly, the doctor continued recording Vin's actions for future study.
After all acupuncture points were pierced with the needles, Vin waited a moment, and slowly the heartbeat, pulse, and Memei's respiration stabilized, a relief to Vin as he had managed to save her.
"At last, Memei has been saved, thank you, gemstone, your aid was indispensable in saving this unfortunate girl," Vin thought with satisfaction for the success.
Vin asked Dr. Lin to call in the other doctors to help continue Memei's treatment.
Before exiting, Vin removed the golden acupuncture needle from Memei's head, which then reverted back into a ring.
Sifa was stunned by Vin's actions, believing him to be a different man from the one she knew—for her husband couldn't possibly have the skill to save a child's life.
"Who really is he, how can he revive someone who has died? Is he truly my spouse, known for his tender heart and concern for others' well-being?" Sifa pondered, gazing at Vin as he emerged from the ICU.
"Why do you look so lost in thought? Are you surprised I could do it?" Vin asked as he approached Sifa.
"Where did you acquire such medical knowledge? Never have I seen you study this in the time we've been together?" Sifa queried, but Vin merely smiled.
"There's no need for you to know. What's important now is that I've succeeded in bringing Memei back from death, and it's just a matter of waiting for the doctors' examination to confirm her safety," Vin answered.
