Rebirth

I had died.

I didn't know how I died. I didn't even know whether I died or not, but there was just a feeling that told me I had died.

Furthermore, I had no memory of who I was or where I came from.

I woke up in a sack. Looking around I seemed to be in some kind of sack made from flesh. I was swimming around in some kind of fluid that I had a faint hint of knowing what it was.

I looked down to and saw that I had a tall and slightly muscular figure. Pale white skin with claws on the end of me fingers. I was oddly calm about this situation.

I decided to tare through the 'womb' that I was in. When I lifted my hand, my claws extended to the size of big walnuts. I didn't pay much attention to it and swiped my hands down and the flesh tore easily.

I landed on the floor of what seemed to be an open field. As soon as I touched the field my odd calmness faded away

What was I? Where was I? Why couldn't I remember anything? Was it because I died?

But my thoughts were cut short when a sudden panel appeared in front of me

"Huh? System? Status? 69?" I asked

As soon as the words left my mouth, a panel appeared in front of me.

I stood there for a moment confused. But after a few seconds before I started going through my status. My eyes rested on the race section and I was shocked. I was a demon!

After the shock passed I kept scrolling through my status. After scanning everything completly I distributed my stat points. I put 1 in strength, 1 in speed, 1 in defence, 1 in intelligence and 1 in vitality.

I decided to explore the the terrain a bit. As I was exploring, I came across what seemed to be the body of a human. I rummaged through his bag until I found a book of some sort. As soon as I touched it though the book turned to ash. I was disappointed at first but then…
